Such a fun stay. Claudia at the front desk was amazing! Her and her colleagues gave me a few things to do while I was in town. She was super helpful.
The room was clean, cute, and had a great view. It would be a little tight for two, but doable for a few nights. I was solo so it was perfect for me.
I didn’t get to try the restaurant downstairs but it seemed very cute.
Great location. Walkable to everything, metro, city, shopping.
The rooftop with the pool was incredible too. It was far too cold to get in, but it was a great place to take in the city.

Clean room but small. Staff were great and polite. I stayed for a week and I love that the Metro entrance for Noviciado was right in front of the hotel. Great location and close to all the shopping/restaurant areas. Would recommend for anyone even Solo travelers. Super safe, right in front of the police station.

Hotel in a great location very central - the rooms are small but you get used to this and they are adequate as out most of day .
Very clean and staff were very friendly on every interaction .The bed was very comfortable and Remade every day 🙂 we had a coffee machine in room no kettle however we could get hot water from this machine for a tea so no problem .
Lots of shops and cafe/restuarants around area we had half board 2 nights and enjoyed the food options given but also enjoyed eating out on one night .
Overall happy to stay here again

Our room was amazing with a view of the Madrid skyline, room was perfect.
The staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is close to a Metro station Noviciado so getting around the City is easy if you want to venture out ! The hotel is a short walk to Gran Vía and all its shops, the a further short walk and you are in Sol. We come to Madrid to see family and would definately recommend a stay here. We will return on our next visit.
NB.. if you like a swim the pool is warm !

Only space for bags in the room was on the bed, and only upgradeable room was the same size but with a terrace. Checked out the same day we checked in and couldn’t get a refund for the nights we didn’t stay at the hotel. Recommend looking elsewhere unless on a 2-4 day trip

Our stay at Akeah Hotel Gran Vía was wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally clean and modern, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always responsive to our needs. It was such a pleasure to be greeted by their friendly smiles every day.

The small buffet breakfast was very good, and I’d like to give a special thank you to Rosa for her kind greetings each morning. I also want to express my gratitude to Raquel for going the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The rooftop bar and pool were a delight—beautiful views, great ambiance, and a relaxing evening vibe. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore Madrid, yet it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful at night.

Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

I’m not usually the type to write hotel reviews, but this place truly deserves it. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was special. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, and the rooftop pool is absolutely magical. It gives the hotel a charm and vibe you won’t find anywhere else. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, and the rooms were spotless. Carlos, the manager, is a gem. He keeps everything running smoothly, is professional, respectful, and attentive, making every stay effortless and enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends, and I will book again.

What a disaster

Rooms are pathetic . So small, hardly any space around beds, had to stack suitcases in front of door at night in order to reach the bathroom and shower hardly any packing space for clothes.
Breakfast terrible , hardly any options and same every single.
Will not recommend this hotel to anybody

This hotel is the best kept secret in the city. You can feel the vibe and energy that makes Madrid a great city to visit and explore. This hotel owns a small pool at the top of the building that offers unique views to the city. The room is small but you don’t need more space since you will be out most of the day, enjoying all the options you can find having this hotel as your main point.

Staff was excellent. Room was smaller but on par for much of Europe/Nyc. Good value for price and very well located. New rooms/very clean and laid out in a way that made good use of limited space. Pool area was busy but always found space. Cons- no pool towels or shower rugs available one day. Floor to ceiling windows in room looked on courtyard so no privacy. Recommend for shorter stays-room could accommodate 2 carryon bags but a fitting a full size bag would have been tough.

We had a completely fine stay, but I don’t think this hotel merits the high scores it has on the Hotels.com app. While the breakfast and common spaces were nice overall, we were appalled by how illogical the room design was. Why does the shower exit out into the main bedroom? And why are the bathroom walls glass? Every time my partner would get up in the night to use the bathroom the whole room was blasted with bright light. And when you shower there’s no way not to track water into the bedroom area. This is a problem because the rooms are so incredibly small. I ignored this aspect of other reviews but it actually made our 3-night stay really uncomfortable. I was also really disappointed to see that the bed dressings had been greatly simplified; we only had two pillows and a simple duvet—not the nice pillows and blankets pictures. It was clean and conveniently located and the common areas were nice, but I can’t help but think there’s better value for your money in Madrid.

The rooms are extremely tight. My small suitcase could barely fit on the floor. I had to walk over it to reach the bathroom. The shower is not accessible from the bathroom but opens to the bedroom so when you get out water gets on the bedroom floor

The hotel was easy access to Gran Via and walking distance to all attractions. The hotel was funky and clean. Bar prices were reasonable. The roof top was nice to sit out after walking round all day but there were no lights on in the evening which was a bit dangerous.
We were given a bottle of white wine in the room as part of Expedia vip and we asked to change it for a bottle of red as we don’t drink white. They said they didn’t have any bottles of red (they had plenty in the bar) and said we could have a bottle of cava instead (which we don’t drink) or a glass of red wine each at the bar instead. We opted for a glass of red each and were given a glass and half a glass - the end of the bottle. Other guests seemed to have a token for a free drink at the bar anyway so being an Expedia vip member seemed to have no benefit in this case.
Breakfast was good but we noticed another guest have a coffee made for her from the proper bean to cup coffee machine behind the bar and when we asked for this the next morning we were told we could not and to use the machine with the coffee pods. My husband expressly asked and was told no use that one. Also on the second morning we were not asked at breakfast if we wanted a cooked option- eggs, omelette or crepe so we just left.
A nice hotel but some of the service from staff was a bit inconsistent.

I had a great stay. I did the half board, however there are many food options near by. I give Beatrice, working in the restaurant, 10/10 stars as she helped me in English get food that accommodated my allergies and remembered specially my needs from the first meeting. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. The room was clean and felt new. I lived the separation of toilet and shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels were huge! I only wish there was more room so I didn’t have to lay the suitcase on my bed, but they made good use of the space they had and let me check in early! The hotel and rooms have a neat atheistic and the roof top was nice to get sunshine. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Enjoyable stay in Madrid

The hotel is conveniently located in the Malasana neighbourhood, a short walk from Plaza Espana. There is an underground station located just steps from the hotel. Very easy and convenient to get around. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The only issues for us was that the room was extremely small, barely any room to turn. Also, there was no exhaust fan in the shower, so a room that small gets very humid and takes a while to dry.

Only problem was our room layout; small things that niggled, like the bathroom hooks being on the opposite side to the way the shower door opens and the fact that you have to turn on the room lights to use the toilet during the night because they are all on the same circuit. We also didn’t think breakfast was worth the €17 per person.

However it’s location is great and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with so many little touches that made my short stay perfect. What a hidden gem!

Needed a central Madrid hotel at a reasonable price and Akeah showed on the Hotels.com options at a reasonable price with a strong review score... figured for one night, what's the worst that can happen?

On arrival, the reception team were brilliant, explaining everything clearly and even let us have our rooms really early which was very much appreciated.

The room is typically central city a bit small, but looks brand new with a really comfy bed and nice touches like a pod coffee machine. Some cool touches on the branding, and the buttons in the loo made me smile too :)

Location is great - right next to the metro system and short walk to the city centre.

A great night's sleep, a friendly team, a modern, spotless room and a perfect location.... at a great price.

This will very much be my \"go-to\" hotel for my trips to Madrid :)

This hotel in Madrid has been a good experience. The location is excellent. It is a small, new hotel, with a very modern style and appearance. The most remarkable thing is all the staff, very kind, helpful, friendly, always attentive. The only drawback is that the room is small, but it is understandable because hotels in the center do not have much space. In general, it is a hotel that we highly recommend.

The rooms are extremely small. It’s hard to tell from the photos. The shower opens up directly into the room not into the bathroom. You do not get individual control over heat or A/C. It’s building level. Also the edgy branding is weird, like a 13 year old designed the hotel.

The room was very very small. The wash basin did not empty properly. The immediate area around the hotel was dirty and scruffy. On the whole, the hotel was not good value for the money. There were silly and childish notes everywhere, insinuating bad language. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel was within about 20 minutes walk of the excellent Gran Via area.
