It was good, convenient location not far from shop, gran via, plaza españa, bar and restaurants. Great mixing with locals Swan and his team are very kind, helpful and friendly. The only things is you have to go upstairs to reach the hotel, apart from that nice little hotel.

You get better than you pay for .

I love this place as a solo traveler to Madrid. The area is great. The price is wonderful. Was aprenhendive after I booked it but it was only one night. Must say the rooms are tiny bathrooms tiny climb stairway. It's basic. It's perfect for a seasoned traveler only. If you just got your first passport after the age of thirty years don't bother. I have to say I will stay here from now on every visit to Madrid. Not recommended for couples if you want the relationship to last. The staff are so warm and beautiful welcoming. I have stayed in all classes of hotels in the americas and Europe. This one is a keeper for me.

The room was small but it fit me and my two friends. The price was amazing and locations was good. The room was clean, the staff was nice, and it definitely shut down my thoughts about hostels that I had especially since this was my first time staying at a hostel. Close to metro, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Will stay there again when ever I am in Madrid.

all staffs were so nice and the toom was clean. it is very closed to metro station. it has radiator so we didnt get cold. the only problem was it has no elevator. except that, everything was good.

Great for an economic break

Went to Madrid with friends for football. Needed a reasonable place to stay in a central location. this fitted the bill perfectly. Was quiet clean etc.
Beds very comfy. The room was dated but for the money and location it was what we expected.
Wi-fi worked throughout, toiletries in bathroom. Again bathroom was dated and only really a shower ( with very short bath).
Local area was close to 2 metro stations, lots of bars and eateries. felt safe at night around the area as was busy until late.

The hotel was in a brilliant location, 2 minutes from Gran Via. The room was very basic, with no hand soap provided and hard towels, but was fine just as a base to sleep in after a long day of looking around the city.

Great value for money overall

Great value for money! It's right on the main street in Madrid, so perfect for getting to the sites quickly. The staff were superb and very accommodating. The room itself was nice. The only negative thing I would say is about the bathroom- it is extremely small, and the condition of the actual bath really devalues the place- looks like it's been there a while and been \"patched up\" with odd painting etc. Otherwise, no complaints- it was perfect for our purposes. If you're on a tight budget, but want a clean ensuite room, I would recommend. No frills, but it will do nicely.

Good value for money hostal

This is a basic no frills but clean and cheap hotel off Gran Via, therefore within walking distance to P. Del Sol & Pl Mayor and with lots of shops & restaurants nearby, even a supermarket steps away. Be aware the hostal is on the 1st floor and there is no lift for people with mobility issues. It does the job if you are out most of the time and just need a clean place to shower and sleep. The room & bathroom I had are on the small side but that was ok for me as I'm small and was out mostly. The reception staff are friendly and you can leave your luggage after you have checked out. WiFi is good and importantly there is aircon. Security is satisfactory too.

The location was great, it was 5 minutes away from La Gran Via. The attentiveness of the receptionists was great as well. However, at night and in the early morning you can hear the loud noises of the people in the apartment above and on the streets. Otherwise, everything was fine for a two might stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just a block or two from the metro and walking distance to the central attractions of Madrid. The room itself was fine. The towels were not soft and the soap and shampoo were in tiny plastic pouches rather than bottles, but overall it was about what I expected for the price. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

A Delightful stay in Madrid.

The hotel was more than suitable for my 4 night stay in Madrid. As all I needed was a room with a bed and washing facilities I can happily say I would visit the hotel again especially for a short stay. The staff were always very helpful and kept the room very clean. The hotel is very central and is only a short walking distance to the city centre. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who wanted to visit Madrid for a short stay.

The hotel is close to all touristique attractions. The personnel is very professional and helpful :) The Room was comfy and clean.

La experiencia ha sido estupenda. La habitación estaba muy bien preparada con baño en el interior aunque se queda corta en espacio, un poco pequeña para ser doble, pero por todo lo demás muy recomendable. El edificio es muy antiguo, pero al entrar al Hostal te encuentras con un alojamiento totalmente reformado y acondicionado para el descanso.
Nos hemos alojado el invierno y la temperatura al entrar era excelente para el descanso.
Para mí gusto, la localización no puede ser mejor. Se encuentra a escasos 50 metros de la Gran vía. En la entrada del barrio de Malasaña. A cualquier hora puedes encontrar Restaurantes y bares geniales para picar alguna cosa.

El trato ha sido excepcional.

feliz en RIAS BAJAS

Fueron impecables en todo, la atención de primer nivel y los cuartos suficientes, es pequeño pero agradable, me sentí bastante confortable y el centro muy bien, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Olía mucho a puro impregnado apestoso

El lugar esta muy bien y el anfitrión también, el tema es que apestaba horriblemente a puro impregnado, al hacer la reserva decía PROHIBIDO FUMAR, llegamos y el olor terrible, pero ya estaba pagado, dejamos ventanas abiertas y ni así, no podíamos dormir de la pestilencia, al dia siguiente lo mismo hasta que nos fuimos, que lastima el lugar perfecto.

Prima hotel op toplocatie.

Locatie is top.
Over het interieur is goed nagedacht! Heel praktisch dus.
Alles is schoon en netjes.
Het lawaai van de straat is wel aanwezig bij de kamers aan de straatkant.
Het enige echte minpuntje is dat je niet fatsoenlijk op de wc kan zitten(scheef dus) door verkeerde plaatsing of ruimtegebrek.

Recomendable sin lujos y práctico

Excelente trato del personal y buena relación calidad precio.
Visto desde el exterior parece y es un edificio antiguo pero en su interior todo modernizado y práctico.
Si se quiere utilizar simplemente como dormitorio. Aire acondicionado, televisión,wifi y baño todo muy bien.

Ótimo hostal e localização excelente

O hostal tem uma localização maravilhosa. Dava para.ir a pé a quase todos os pontos turísticos. Tudo novinho, quarto espaçoso e extremamente limpo. Ar.condicionado e TV nos quartos.Ficamos num quarto de frente como uma sacadinha. Pessoal educado e super simpático. Apesar de ficar numa rua movimentada não há barulho. Não tem café da manhã mas tem ao lado e em volta muitas opções em conta. Vou indicar sempre. Porém se você está com muita bagagem e pesada ou tem problemas de locomoção não é indicado. Não é acessível. Tem que subir 2 lances de escada. Mas para nós não foi problema. Apenas uma observação. Foi tudo ótimo!

Zimmer sind anscheinend neu renoviert. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, alles sehr schlicht und modern ausgestattet. Man braucht für den Preis nicht zu viel erwarten. Nur was wirklich mich gestört hat: Das Bad/WC ist sehr sehr klein! Und damit meine ich wirklich klein.

Situato praticamente nel centro di Madrid, da cui é possibile percorrere a piedi tutto il centro. Personale gentilissimo e camera (pulitissima) fornita dell'indispensabile per chi non ha bisogno di passare tutta la giornata nella stanza ma in giro per la città.

La Arita de la recepción es un Ángel que soluciona TODO.
El hotel está muy bien y limpio.

La televisión no funcionaba, parecía un problema de señal. Todo correcto salvo una cosa...el RUIDO. Es increible como se escuchan todos los ruidos. Timbre de la puerta, baños, huespedes de habitaciones contiguas hablando...y...la obra. Están reformando ma fachada del edificio y a las 8 de la mañana había un obrero gritando en mi ventana y lanzando andamios sin cuidado de no hacer ruidos tremendos.
Es el único pero que le pongo, el ruido y el nulo aislamiento.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in Madrid

Das Hostal Rijas Bajas ist sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Jeden Tag bekamen wir frische Handtücher. Die Rezeption war 24 Stunden besetzt. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Preis/Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.
Frühstücken kann man zwar nicht, aber nach ca. 150 Meter erreicht man eine Bäckerei, in der man wunderbar frühstücken kann.
Das Rijas Bajas ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

In der Nähe der „Gran via“ Hauptstraße von Madrid

Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, sehr familiär. Nachdem wir Abends zurück kamen war alles immer top sauber und aufgeräumt, jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, selbst als wir 4 Uhr nachts noch laute Musik gehört haben wurden wir höflich gebeten leiser zu sein. Jesus -> bester Mann

Udemærket til prisen...

Fint hotel, selvom værelset var meget småt. Det private badeværelse var ligeledes MEGET småt og toilettet var løst. Der var meget var,t på værelset og vi kunne ikke selv skrue ned for var,en, men her hjalp personalet. Personalet var søde og rare og var helt tiden klar på at hjælpe og var udemærket til engelsk.

Es un lugar bastante discreto, cerca de una boca de metro que conecta con muchísimas líneas. La calle donde está ubicado el lugar tiene mucha vida. La única pega que he de ponerle al lugar es que el baño era pequeñito.

Schönes Hotel direkt an der Gran Via!

Würden wir sofort wieder buchen. Super Hotel und sehr freundliches Personal. Tolle Lage und direkt an der Gran Via. In der Straße sind zwei Supermärkte und ein nettes Café (Market Café). Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag aufgeräumt.
