Overall, everything was very good. The reception staff was extremely kind and helpful, and the hotel is very well located, which made getting around Istanbul very easy.
The only comment I would make for improvement is related to noise. At least on the 5th floor, where my room was located, there was quite a bit of noise early in the morning when the breakfast area was being prepared. Tables and chairs were moved around starting around 6:00 am, and the noise was noticeable and uncomfortable inside the room.
Improving this would definitely make the stay even better.

Room though small was excellent with great view of southern Istanbul. Staff, especially concierge at main desk, were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a nice location and only a few minutes walk from all of the major city historical sites and Mosques. Also, it was priced below many of the other nearby hotels, since it’s not as fancy as some of the others. However, it’s perfect if you’re not looking for that.

Hotel is located in a very accessible part of Sultanahmet and close to all major historical attractions. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Clean rooms although bathrooms could use a little maintenance (peeling wallpaper and caulking). Otherwise the room was in good condition, AC works well, the bed and pillows were firm. Highly recommended!

The staff at the Adamar Hotel were outstanding. So friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of good information upon arrival and then arranged our taxi to the airport at the end of our trip.
The location is in great placement. Easy to walk everywhere that you might want to visit. Didn’t need to use a single taxi except when heading to the airport.
A nice wide range of breakfast foods available everyday with an amazing view.
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Adamar Hotel outshines other hotels in the area for value for money. It is very convenient within 10 mins walking distance to Hagia Sophia, the blue mosque and the grand bazaar. Superb restaurants nearby and close to trams. Downsides are rooms are small and the proximity to the mosques means sometimes being woken up by calls to prayers. However it’s very clean, amenities are good and staff very friendly.

This is a very comfortable hotel at a perfect place. The staff was extraordinarily forthcoming and pleasant. The hotel was a breakfast room with windows on all sides, with a terrific view of all tourist attractions. There is a terrace restaurant above it with an even more spectacular view. 5 Stars – Exceptional Anniversary Stay at Adamar Hotel, Istanbul

My wife and I were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and spent a night at the Adamar Hotel after disembarking from a cruise. Our experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

We arrived early, around 8:00 AM, for an 8:30 AM tour. Though check-in wasn’t until later, the manager warmly welcomed us, held our bags, and made sure everything was taken care of while we went on our tour. When we returned around 4:00 PM, the afternoon manager gave us Room 502 — it was excellent — and had all our bags already delivered to the room. He also took care of adjusting our airport pickup time to 4:00 AM the next morning, saving us the stress of having to deal with it ourselves.

That evening, we had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The view is breathtaking, overlooking the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Bosphorus. Watching the sunset over Istanbul and the city lights come alive as we dined at 6:30 PM made for a lasting memory. To top it off, the staff surprised us with slices of baklava and a Happy Anniversary song — such a thoughtful and touching gesture!

Then came a travel hiccup: at 3:30 AM, we received a message from British Airways that our IST–LHR flight had been cancelled and rebooked for two days later. I went downstairs in a bit of a panic while my wife was on the phone with BA. The midnight manager was incredibly kind and helpful — he sp

- Rooms were modern (no vibrant colours or decor which was great).
- Breakfast was lovely.

- Can hear the noise from outside, quite a busy road. Didn’t bother us but anyone sensitive to noise may not like it.
- 1/3 of the bedrooms we booked had a drain issue causing an awful smell. Staff cleaned it everyday but the smell stayed throughout.
- 1/3 of the bathroom fans were not working/on causing smells too.

The location was fantastic. An easy 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Breakfast buffet in the terrace restaurant was good. We enjoyed a lovely sunset dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, they price was reasonable with a 15 percent hotel stay discount, and the view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the largest family suite available which was adequate but not as spacious as we had hoped. An all around, it was a good experience.

EXCELLENT STAY AT ADAMAR HOTEL!!! We would like to thank Murad, Gokan, Sakan, the breakfast lady & all the supporting staff at the Adamar hotel for such an amazing stay. They upgraded our rooms to family size when we checked in and gave us a warm welcome. Having a toddler with us was not easy but Murad and his team made an effort which we will never forget to make our lives comfortable. Every little thing matters - this is our 3rd trip to Istanbul and we know how hotels around here love to charge you for everything but not at Adamar. Our friends (who travelled with us) were given a free charging adapter when requesting at midnight - trivial but that mattered a lot. The hotel is 5 mins walking distance to Basillica Cistern, Sultanahmet mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace and Gulhane Park, lots of transportation options. The tram stop and Ferry port at a walking distance. I wouldn’t recommend eating around at Sultanahmet as the prices are overcharged but you have great options at Sirkeci. They even arranged for a taxi when we wanted to transfer to our next hotel. It was truly wonderful! And btw, you must visit just to see the breathtaking views from the rooftop. Thanks everyone at Adamar hotel! Highly recommended!!

We booked this hotel for a 4-day stay in Istanbul. The hotel has a great location, just a short walk to Ayaya Sofia, Topkapi palace, the blue Mosque, and the spice market. The room was quite nice and , with plenty of space. Nice breakfast included in the room rate. The hotel has a restaurant on the top floor and the terrace that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is really good, especially the lamb chops, some of the best lamb ever. As a bonus, you you get one of the best panoramic views of the city from the restaurant, where you can see Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace, Galata tower, the Bosphorus, and a the famous suspension bridge over the Bosphorus. I should mention that the staff at the hotel and restaurant went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is excellent, close proximaty to all relevant tourist attraction sites. The room is a tag small. However, we believe that we had received the value for the price we paid.
One of the most important attributes that's important to me as a hotel guest is the staff of the hotel. I found the staff of this hotel exceptional helpful. In particular, a staff named Gokhan had gone out of his way in providing us with ferry info to the Prince's Islands. And, helped us with transportation info on our next stop in our continuing vacationing in Turkey.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously! We were at Hotel Adamar for 11 nights and enjoyed it. The hotel is located on a smaller, less noisy street in Sultanahmet. Although the rooms are small, the rooms and their bathrooms were modern and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was top notch and made us feel like we were part of the family. A special shout out to Nera in the Panoramic dining room for her kindness. All the late night waiters on the rooftop were spectacular! And boy oh boy what a rooftop. Spectacular panoramic views of the city. Breakfast was scrumptious. It was truly a 5 star experience and we have stayed at 5 star hotels all around the world. The Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions in Sultanahmet. The room was modern and clean and the staff very attentive. It also has an amazing roof top restaurant with breathtaking views over the old part of the city, the Sea of Marmara to the south and the Golden Horn to the north. Faultless for its location, cleanliness, service and the rooftop views. Strongly recommended.

The hotel is clean, but for the money... you can find it twice as cheap in terms of quality. Small rooms... I didn’t like that I was tired from the road and said, “Where can I drink Turkish coffee?...” They told me to go there... to the restaurant... I went tired... found... and bought!!! Usually, as long as I fly, everything was included in the service... for clients. In general, for that kind of money I could rent two rooms and with better service

I didn’t get any VIP benefits 😕. Room was on 2nd floor. Noisy outside but that didn’t bother me. Tiny toilet. Looked clean from afar but it wasn’t. Room was snug, the curtains was kinda mouldy. Room was cleaned daily. Mattress was comfy but the pillows were not. The breakfast was just okay. Not much of a selection so didn’t get up and go for 2 mornings. Location was really good that’s why I booked.

Loved this hotel. It's in an ideal location. It's small which means it is calm and quiet. Breakfast had a good selection and hot buffet. The rooftop terrace and its views are amazing. Staff are polite and help with directions etc. We would definitely come back to the same hotel next time we visit.

This was a great property to stay at. You’re about 15 minutes from the Bazaars and only 5 minutes from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the palace. Staff were very friendly and I was even able to get into my room early
