The staff were extremely kind, smiling, and helpful, a real highlight of our stay. The hotel was very clean, and the room was comfortable and spotless.

However, the pool area lacked atmosphere, especially in the afternoon: no music at all, which was a bit disappointing.
The bartender was quite serious and barely smiled, which stood out compared to the rest of the friendly team. Also, drink prices were quite high.

Overall, a very good stay, but a livelier pool vibe would make a big difference.

Great location. Good restaurants and bars nearby. Pool and beach great. The room however felt very motel like. Not special enough for the price. Our room was also extremely damp. We had to change our bedding at 10 pm as it was damp and we could not sleep. The room had a dehumidifier which was full after a few hours. I have never seen these in Thailand. On a positive note they let us go to breakfast 15 mins early as we had to leave by 7 am.

This hotel is a beautiful oasis nearby the insanity of Chaweng. Quiet, relaxing, and luxurious - yet close enough to the parties & nightlife that you can walk. Fantastic beach & pool area, tasty breakfast buffet with both Western and Asian options and best of all, the jetted jacuzzi tub on the balcony. Highly recommend- I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Samui. Central location is a 15 min Grab or taxi ride from temples & fisherman’s village, for days you want something different but plan on some time just relaxing at the hotel! You won’t be disappointed!

Great hotel overall. Clean modern rooms with plenty of space...property fronts directly onto beach so ideal for long days at the beach. Staff are wonderful and friendly.

My only downside is the road noise late night which can be heard into early hours. This may only affect somw rooms, not sure. But ovwrall great and i will be staying here again.

Everything during our stay was perfect. Its restaurant and bar are great with happy hour. The pool is clean and relaxing. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, bars, etc. The beach is very nice but despite hotel’s efforts there was a bit of trash. Considering that it is a public beach, local authorities could coordinate with hotels to keep the area as clean as it is beautiful. We will will come back.

We chose a resort not too far from the airport yet on the beach. Once inside it is so beautiful and serene. The pool is beautiful and right on the beach. Plus great anhppy hour! Excellent staff who will do everything to help you. They were accommodating. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The only downside is that the rooms we booked were on the front of the hotel and the road was surprisingly load for a beach town.

Amazing place. I would give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. I rely on reviews and I can’t understand anyone that didn’t like this resort. We had ocean view jacuzzi room. It was exactly that. Spacious with beautiful view. Mai at reception was so nice, so lovely. Location is PERFECT. Quiet stretch of sand at the beach, but can walk to all the nightlife. chefs Table had great food and a great happy hour. I fell in love with Samui and can’t imagine staying anywhere else :)

I don’t like writing bad reviews, because it means the livelihood of so many wonderful individuals is at stake… so i’ll write an honest one. The hotel is beautifully located and so close to the airport. The villas with private pools are something to write home about. The team is super helpful. The staff is really lovely. However, if improvements can be made, there are many. Firstly, the spa is located across the street and communicating with them was a logistical issue. You have to cross the street to get an appointment. Dining options are down to one restaurant that closes at 9pm. I was on DND and the bell rang quite a few times for different reasons. The private pool isn’t so private, with neighbors and diners in the restaurant having a direct view of it, same for the bedroom. So the curtains really needed to be closed, which was a shame. Breakfast is bland and can be greatly improved. And then forgot to return my deposit upon checkout…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the pool villas. It was one if the vest rooms we have ever stayed in. The resort is ideally located on the beach, near the airport, and a bit tucked away on the quieter side. The staff were all very friendly. We wish were still there!

Great position away from crowds and bars, but only a 15 minute walk to the nightlife.
Beach area outside hotel is the nicer part of Chaweng beach, and the pool option is also very pleasant.
Staff were always welcoming, and remembered small things like what coffee you have.
Breakfast is superb and plentiful, fruit, Thai meals, toast, eggs any way and pancakes. No need for lunch after a breakfast like that.

Our second trip to Koh Samui and Sareeraya ticked all the boxes, we stayed in a tropical pool villa and it was everything we expected which was a relief, sometimes the photos dress up a poorly maintained resort but not in this case. The room was beautiful, clean and well maintained as was the private pool. The main resort facilities were all of the same standard and the staff were wonderful. Very accommodating and kind. I would stay here again happily!

Nice end of town to be in, 10 min walk to the main strip of shops/bars which means you can get away and relax or have the hustle and bustle if you want it. Great chilled bar/restaurant next door (Your Place). I would stay in a villa next time as the door to the suites are next to the main road and sometimes a bit of traffic noise through the night. But overall we were very happy with the hotel and amenities - the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The stay overall was good.
The hotel is perfectly located in Chaweng beach. Not to close and not to far from the center.
The rooms are specious ( we stayed with an existing to a shared pool) and clean.
We had 2 queen beds connected which was too big, I preferred a king size instead.
2 drawbacks:
1. The facilities at the beach are poor and missing items that exist at the neighboring hotels like SUP and Kayak. Hotel at this rate can afford having those facilities
2. The breakfast was good and at a beautiful place at the beach but could have more variety…

I can not recommended Sareeraya highly enough. Pure luxury & relaxation. My room was big, with a great view from the balcony, but it was private at the same time. All the staff were lovely - very friendly, very efficient & nothing was too much trouble. The internet was fantastic. The location is right on the beach & maybe a 5 or 10 minute walk down to the shopping areas. The food was great, especially the breakfast options. 12/10 & I can’t wait to go back & visit again! And separate to the resort but right next door on the beach is an amazing little beach hut pub called Your Place Bar with a restaurant called Your Place Restaurant. Also 12/10 for both of these places. I’ll definitely be back again!

Loved our stay at Sareeraya! Great location, walking distance to downtown chaweng but still far enough away where it was quiet and relaxing to sit on the beach. The only thing that I liked about this property was the security guard at the front desk, and one of the waiters at the restaurant. Check in was very slow, staff was not giving me attention upon check it. The check in receptionist was terrible. Furthermore, when I asked the male receptionist for a late check out, the same terrible old female receptionist bleared something in Thai and told me that someone else was waiting for the room the next day.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE NO MATTER HOW GOOD OF A DEAL YOU GET!

FANTASTIC RESORT! - Would definitely stay again.

We were travelling as a family of 4 staying at Sareeraya in two suites with a connecting balcony. The rooms were very spacious, clean and the bathroom was beautiful. The staff were amazing and very helpful. They helped us numerous ways from extra bedding, arranging trips, advice on places to visit, transport etc.
The staff at the chef table and around the pool were second to none and super helpful.
The place has an authentic feel and fantastic views across the infinity pool out to sea. Location was great with a 15 min walk into Cheweng where all the action happened.
Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again next time.

We stayed 5 nights at this property in a spa suite. The rooms are large and there is a partial view through the trees from Suite 201. The breakfasts were fine and the French chef offered to make a la carte meals to suit our dietary needs. There is a sullage smell throughout Koh Samui and you could smell this at times in the hotel - however this is a broader island issue rather than the hotel. He hotel used lemongrass essential oils to mask the smell.We thought we booked the best resort along Chewang Beach quiet but close to the action. Chewang Beach itself is pretty and the water is a lovely colour however there was quite a lot of pollution which once again was not a hotel issue but a Koh Samui issue.
The hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and even helped me amend a flight booking by contacting the airline and speaking to a Thai operator.
I would recommend staying at this resort

Well first off the dinner on the beach for new years eve was horrdenous , buffet style dinner but all the food was extremly cold and poor selection of items , the only good things were the asparagus , for the cost of the food at this hotel your better off walking down the street and buying food from a street vendor for 1/10th of the price and it would be absolutley more delicious than anything this resort has to offer

Room is big and very comfortable but the television is a little to small for the room. The bed is good and the shower area is great as the water power is strong. Need to improve the lift as is smells very fishy and should have done something to make it more present. Overall, very nice to stay and will return.

Best boutique hotel in Samui

Everything about this hotel is well run and clean. Service is fantastic. We only ate the breakfast but it was great. Food was fresh, good selection and really helpful staff. The chef (Christophe) is always around to chat and answer food queries. A nice guy, as is the manager, sorry i forgot his name. Location on the beach perfect and we had sunny weather every day. We will definitely go back, hopefully for a longer stay.

Excellent hotel in a quiet area. Very friendly staff and service. Good breakfast and nice restaurant on the beach. Perfect sunrise from the beach/hotel. The infinity pool is excellent, with chairs in the pool, and a pool bar. They also offer romantic dinner on the beach, with great food and atmosphere. If you want to rent a scooter, do so via the hotel. Couple of minutes driving on scooter to the main street with restaurants, bars etc. Nice beach, but with low tide the water is full of sea weed, so you'll have to go to the south end for the that sandy seabed. Overall - highly recommended!

We loved our stay in the room with pool access. It was perfect to have a beer by the pool until late if you wanted to, listen to your favorite music without disturbing anyone and all this just in your own space.
The main pool in the ocean front it was also amazing and we spent a lot of time in there too.
Breakfast was really nice. I’ll never forget the cocconut jam!

A perfect place to relax

As soon as we arrived our first impressions were positive. The hotel has a classy, peaceful feel about it and the location on the beach is excellent. It's situated at the quieter north end of Chaweng beach but still close enough the main action which is just a short walk away. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and the one thing that made it extra-special were the wonderful hotel staff who were very friendly and attentive. Would love to stay there again when next in Samui.

The hotel is rated as 5* but we wouldn't consider this as 5*. We had a few issues, firstly the room had a damp/mouldy smell in it. We raised our concerns and were advised that they couldn't switch our room until the next day. So we slept in the first room for 1 night that was located on the 1st floor. Due to the smell, my wife had a stuffy nose and felt nauseated. The noise from the street was very loud and meant we woke up a number of times during the night.
We spoke to the manager about this and the noise is obviously a problem that they are aware of as she advised that they plan to do something about it longterm.
The next day we were relocated to another room on the G floor. The bad smells in the new room weren't as strong but they were still noticeable. When we turned the AC on it exacerbated the damp smell so we had to keep it switched off. We couldn't open the sliding doors due to the mosquitos and we had to keep the incense lit to try and mask the smell but that became intolerable. The noise on the GF wasn't as bad and they did try and put draught strip around the door to reduce it.
We really didn't enjoy sleeping in the hotel and counted the days until we left. It ruined what was meant to be a great trip in a hotel that wasn't cheap so you wouldn't expect these issues.
The manager was extremely helpful and friendly and did give us a complementary spa. However in the main the trip was ruined because we hated spending time and sleeping in the room.

When you plan your vecation you don't expect to pay that amount of money and have a noisy room. Starting from 14:00 the cars of the boxing show make noise every 10 minutes. We were with a baby and it was very hard to get her to sleep. When I asked the manager she said the only option is to pay more for a different room. Thats not what I expect froom a 5 star hotel.

Clean and modern resort in Samui

The hotel is not on the popular Chaweng street but offer quietly and quality living which is perfect for vacation. Couple restaurants around it so definitely no need to concern about dinning for sure.
Clean and modern rooms, plus super friendly staffs. Like it a lot!

The food at the restaurant was one of the best we tried in all of Thailand. The general manager was very kind to say hello every morning at breakfast to us.

Reception only one staff
The restaurant few staff but not friendly at all and the service was...
In the beach no staff around and umbrella very small and not enough shade
Can feel that this hotel no body care
It’s only one Singaporean lady that care and she is few levels more than anyone
