The bar and staff were great. Adult pool was nice but some brought their children/grand children and no staff asked them to go to the family pool. The bar and staff were very nice as well.
However we had problems with our room. We were plagued by super large cockroaches. The kind that make you scream. We had to leave the room to find help and sometimes a person came sometimes they didn't as the roaches showed up at night or early morning. No sleep for us

The staff was great especially Joel aka “Tutti Frutti”, he made our experience that much better :) they have their entertainment team always working on something and every day we were there for the whole week there was an event or showing going on that kept things interesting. All the wait staff was very nice, the room was very nice and the hotel was pretty clean. Right on the beach with a snack bar overlooking the beach. 10/10 stay!

Property was located with nice surrounding and was pleasure to walk around. Beach were not usable due to lots seaweed. Room was ok as they did not deep clean it. Jacuzzi was broken, tv and remote were not working in room 2014. It was hard to explain any staff due to language barrier. Very hard to get pure vegetarian or jain food in dining area. If you are vegetarian then do not have much choice, so try some other resort instead of this one. Thanks for providing this opportunity.

Staying in this resort was the best part of our vacation!! Highly recommend! So many dining choices. Beach front property. The spa experience was great. Housecleaning staff clean your room almost 2-3x a day or whenever you need it. They also have swim up bars with multiple pools to choose from. Very nice landscaping. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, everything was a waste of time—from check-in to check-out. A lack of communication between the front desk and Expedia led to extra expenses for us. Room service was terrible and failed to live up to what was promised upon arrival. Be careful when they offer to show you the facilities; it turns out to be a sales pitch for a membership, and if you don't buy, they treat you like you don't exist. If you miss lunch, you have to wait until the evening meal; the hotel is quite large, and it is difficult to find food among the amenities. And much more

Luego de una corta estadía de 4 noches, puedo recomendar este resort. Las habitaciones amplias y limpias, y las camas muy cómodas, pude descansar a gusto. El staff muy amable siempre en especial Luis de Expedia y Santa en el pool bar fueron muy amables, al igual que Sariannys en Recepcion fueron de mucha ayuda. Las piscinas me encantaton, siempre limpias. La playa estuvo hermosa, un dìa con poco sargazo y los demàs dìas muy limpia. La comida en los buffets Las Torres y Behique muy sabrosa, al igual que en La Uva me encantò la parrillada.

La única observación que tuve que puede mejorar es la música en las pool bars ya que era aburrida y el volumen muy bajo. Por todo lo demás quedamos muy complacidos.

Overall A++ service. We did a good thing by booking cab service via Expedia along with all inclusive package. Driver picked us up from Airport and dropped us off at Lobby where an Expedia customer Check-In counter welcomed us exclusively. Luis was our associate who took care of us and amazed us by handing over an envelope with every day night dinner booking at exclusive fancy restaurants available in the resort from day 1 to Day 6. That saved us hours of research and effort in booking those great restaurants. I highly recommend to book your all inclusive via Expedia, just because they are putting lot of effort in giving pleasant experience by taking care of routine things which we might not know until that moment but Expedia know it end to end.
Also, noticed that Expedia customers have the best rooms reserved near to beach, pool and buffet places.

Overall very happy with this trip.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The property is large, which helps spread guests out and keeps it from feeling overcrowded. The buffet offered a wide variety of food, although the quality was average. I highly recommend making reservations at the specialty restaurants, as they provided a much better dining experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Our room (2030) was in a perfect location—close enough to the beach and pool for convenience, but far enough away to avoid the noise and activity from those areas.

My stay was horrible the first 2 days . My television and fridge did not work the first night . After spending 4 hours of my vacation taking to staff they moved my room . The television did not work in that room and they did not fix it so no television for 24 hours the next day after mentioning it again it was replaced. The grounds were maintained there were a couple of staff that were kind. Deyter was kind and helpful. The trolley stopped once . I saved for this vacation and I should have went somewhere else. My co worker had a similar experience at another resort. We live in a time where kindness and human decency are a bonus but I saved for this vacation and the staff acted like it was a bother for them to do the basics. I work hard and I spent my money to be treated bad for 48 hours that is sad, My room was fine after that to be fair housekeeping was impressive. Some of the staff on my 3 night were nice but my first 2 nights were horrible.

As soon as I got to the resort, the staffs were so welcoming. Extremely helpful, even with a language barrier they tried their very best to communicate with you. They weren’t pushy to get you to buy anything, no obligations. They understood you just want to enjoy your vacation. It’s their job to sell or advertise certain amenities/activities/memeberships/tours, like any overseas vacation. They made everything accessible, making reservations was easy. They don’t expect tipping. Although I tipped $1-$5 for exceptional & kind service. It was my kids & my first time at an all inclusive resort & also out in the Dominican Republic. Though we stayed in the resort the entire stay, it was great. There were activities to do at certain times (if you choose to). Of course my kiddos just wanna be in the water & be around the swim up bar . We ate dinner at a different restaurant each night. I would try to reserve dinner at the restaurants before arriving because they’re right about these restaurants being popular & booked up. I got lucky & was able to reserve dinner while I was here. I wouldn’t say everyone would be as lucky. So I would definitely recommend to reserve any dinner prior to arriving. I hope this helps anyone that is coming to the grand palladium Punta Cana :)

The stay was amazing!!! The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was great!! A lot of different options to choose from. The only negative thing I have to say was all the seaweed on the shore of the beach. It was so much even at the beginning of the water when you first go in, I tried to get past it but I couldn’t. I stayed in the water for 3 minutes before I had my boyfriend carry me out all the way to and from the beach chairs. Other than that I really enjoyed myself.

Got food poisoning on the second day! Pool is poorly maintained and beaches are nothing but seaweed! If you book on Travelocity or other sites you are identified by a red bracelet and annoyed beyond belief to join travel club! Will never go back and definitely recommend you go to another island all together!

I agreed with many reviews on this place kept their grounds and greens tidy. However, everything else is not good. Starting with food, one rest for buffet dinner. Food is the same everyday. The only thing you will see changes are pastry. One rest for breakfast, same
Food everyday. We didn’t even eat lunch so I can’t comment. By the beach, small snake bar, the only thing we ate was the grill chicken. You need to be there early. Also it appears that they don’t want to give you more than 1 piece. No activities for kids in between. This place is big with multiple hotels connected. They should rent out bikes. This week there were a lot of sea weed, they stoped cleaning it so the pile is covering all of the beach sand. Bottom line, beach is nice if they clean up the seaweed. If you eat apples/pears/eggs like me, you will be ok for few days. I like the padalidium in Jamaica. This one, I will not return.

Clear instructions for booking restaurants and the times that the buffets are actually open. We received details about the restaurant times however they were incorrect. I just want. Have a menu at the door for these restaurants. Don’t make it only available in the app. Have a menu right at the door for restaurants; same for bars and the coffee shops. Make the map of the proper in the app interactive. Also, we didn’t know how to use the resort transportation, where when how we weren’t given any details when we checked in. In regards to the food somebody’s job at every buffet should be to mix all of the items after the buffet so they don’t get dried out. if you have somebody doing that today, they’re doing a poor job. You also had staff at cooking stations who are sometimes there and sometimes not there. One day at the pancake station. The lady happily just burned one pancake after the next with no care at all. You call us family however you don’t feel like family unless you can speak Spanish otherwise you get short one word answers with limited information which leaves an awful total interaction.

I recently stayed at Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa for 4 nights. The beach and tropical grounds are beautiful, and the property itself is very large with access to multiple pools, restaurants, and amenities.

Unfortunately, the overall guest experience felt underwhelming and not very relaxing. The resort has an extremely sales-driven atmosphere. Everywhere you go, someone is trying to sell you something — from souvenir vendors to constant promotion of vacation club memberships. Even going to the gym turned into a sales experience, where I was immediately approached about spa services. It became difficult to simply relax without being marketed to.

The food quality was inconsistent, and the rooms felt somewhat old and dated compared to the online photos and branding.

Another challenge was the language and overall guest experience as an English-speaking traveler. The resort seemed much more geared toward Spanish-speaking guests. Most staff members were courteous and professional, but English communication was limited in many areas, and at times it felt like Spanish-speaking guests received more natural attention and engagement.

What stood out most to me was the lack of memorable entertainment or thoughtful resort atmosphere. The activities and events felt mediocre and low-effort compared to other resorts I’ve visited in Punta Cana. I previously stayed at Royalton and found the hospitality, food, entertainment, and overall atmosphere significantly more polished, mode

This one is going to be a mixed bag of a review.

The Good: Room was nice and clean, housekeeping kept everything nice and restocked our fridge.
Francis took us anywhere we wanted to go on resort even set his own alarm to meet us on departure and help with bags. Luis, I’m sorry for the misunderstanding with the check in survey that was at Expedia not at you sir. Thank you for surprising my wife and I with the room being decorated while we were out and the dinner by the beach. Luis was on it and deserves all the love and awards at that place.
Thank you Julio for your help as well.

Bad:Travel club being rude and liars, parts of resort closed off to different tiers. Food wasnt good, drinks watered down. Adult pool taken away from everyone, was looking forward to that. we decided on day 5 we won’t be back due to how the travel club just doesn’t take no for an answer. 90 minutes turned into 3 hours apparently “can’t afford that” doesn’t click. Also beforehand we were told even if we don’t want it “we’ll still be friends”” that’s a lie cause afterwards I had to force them to shake my hands and they had attitudes.

I don’t like how the future looks with this subscription service that the resort is going with. Thank you everyone who helped and were nice but all of the bad outweighed the good. Get rid of travel club they’re bad for your business.

From the moment we arrived, Luis greeted us with genuine warmth, professionalism, and an incredibly positive attitude that made us feel immediately welcome. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and was always friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.

Manager Dariel was equally outstanding. You can truly see his dedication to guest satisfaction and the high standards he sets for the resort. He took the time to ensure we were enjoying every aspect of our visit and made us feel valued as guests. His leadership clearly reflects in the excellent service provided by the entire team.

We visited the resort for a wedding and stayed 5 nights. It was not enough time to even explore the whole resort as it is very large compared to other places we stayed. The food was better than average at the buffet and we had a tomahawk steak dinner on the beach which was the best meal we had there. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. We did not enjoy how some of the vendors on the resort were a little pushy but understand they all just are trying to make a living. The beach wasn’t as nice or as clean as some, but they have a lot of coastline to maintain. Overall I would recommend the resort if you are looking for a quality stay at a reasonable price.

The place is definitely a bit older, but the resort is nice. The place is super big, so pools and places don’t feel crowded. Grounds are kept well and pools are clean. Loved that the beach is so close and absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are a bit older, but still decent. One of the things we didn’t like is that we couldn’t do any sport activities in the evening at the sports area because they wouldn’t leave the lights on after 7pm. We would’ve loved to play when it was so hot.

This was the most disappointing hotel experience I have had in over ten years of traveling to warm destinations. Upon arrival, there were close to 10 issues in our room that required attention. Despite multiple visits to the front desk, it took 8 requests before meaningful assistance was provided.
The air conditioning did not function properly and required escalation before it was taken seriously. It took about 5 days to partially resolve the issue, and it was never fully fixed. As a result, approximately 3 to 4 days of our 9‑day vacation were spent dealing with room issues and waiting for repairs rather than enjoying the resort.
While the hotel itself is pleasant and I understand that room issues can occur, the repeated lack of timely response significantly impacted our experience. Had it not been for Marina and Dariel at the customer service desk, who were very sensitive to the issues I was having, and eventually acknowledged those issues and their urgency, the experience would have been even more negative.
Given the cost of this trip, losing 3 to 4 days of our vacation due to unresolved issues was extremely frustrating and left a lasting negative impression.

Also important to note that paying for a pool side room at this resort doesn't mean you will have a pool side room. We ended up garden side and the people at the front desk told me that this resort sees a pool side room as a room not too far from the pool. In ALL hotels I have been to before, this has never happened.

I had a great experience staying here. The decor was beautiful and gave the hotel a really welcoming feel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more enjoyable.

The food options were very good, with plenty of variety, and everything I tried was satisfying. Overall, the atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable, and exactly what you want when visiting such a beautiful destination.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit again. I loved this place and would happily recommend it to others.

The staff aren’t very friendly in all places and not all have great English, tips are expected to get better/friendly service. Our server at the sports bar was very unpleasant. Several people in my group had issues with their rooms, but ours was great! Housekeepers were very friendly, and easy check in. The resort itself was huge and close to the water! Food was average, and drinks were great :)

The resort was very clean and the beach and views were beautiful. Some staff were very friendly and helpful. We had many issues in our room including no air conditioning for the first night. Food was decent. Overall, the stay was okay but I wouldn’t come back.
