First and foremost, Cesar the concierge was amazing. He was attentive and responsive. The resort itself is beautiful. It felt like a mini paradise. The food was a hit or miss. No in between. But when it was good, it was great. Now for the things that I did not like. Majority of the staff were rude. Like it was a problem to assist us. At first, we thought it was maybe a one off, but it became consistent throughout the resort. We were told on our second day that we were going to meet for breakfast and be shown around the resort. It ended up being a timeshare presentation that we did not want. At the end we were told we were get 250 points to spend, however we like at the resort however, when it was time to check out those points, mysteriously disappeared. Which means we wasted our time on something we did not request or want taken away from our vacation for basically nothing.

We had two rooms. Upon check in only one of the rooms was ready and the tv did not work. We had to call for maintenance to come and fix the tv. We could not access the second room until about 6pm. The rooms were not cleaned well. The mattress pad on the pullout was soiled with many different stains including what looked like blood stains. The housekeeping staff took the mattress pad off but did not replace it. She made the bed sloppily without one. The throw pillows and curtains were dirty as well . Overall cleanliness I would give 5/10. The bartenders and other staff were friendly. Amenities and restaurants were good too.

Las habitaciones están muy limpias, creo que deberían tener un poco más de variedad en la comida, deberían tener shows más variados, el kids club súper recomendado las trabajadoras de allí muy atentas a mi niña le encanto, los trabajadores eran muy atentos también. Lo único que creo que deben mejorar es variedad de comida y shows en la noche. Por lo demás todo está bien.

Some of the staff was wonderful, so very helpful and accommodating. Marcelino and Danny were the absolute best at reception! They ere always friendly and helpful! George from entertainment was fun and a great dancer. Our consierge made no effort to acknowledge my friend’s birthday while we were there and the reason we chose to stay, but Jose Luis Garrea, host from many buffets stepped it up and took care of her with a special lunch. The spa was excellent! The food was just ok. No Dominican food served- that was a disappointment. We stayed by the beach and the room wad clean and very nice. Breakfast juices and fruit were the best! Beach bbq was our favorite! Great place to stay.

Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable with the resort so getting around was a lot easier! Rooms were cleaned to perfection. No long lines for food or buffets or at the bar! These people work quick and efficient and provide amazing service. Restaurants have great food as well. Pool areas were always fun and very clean. Night time has fun things to do as well. Highly recommend!

A multitude of minor issues kept cropping up including downgraded room option(! be aware), and most of them stemmed from inadequate staff training at all levels! If it hadn't been for our concierge, Cesar, I don't know if we would have managed to successfully complete our family vacation. Cesar is the only person we dealt with who performed his job at the highest professional level, and I say this without any exaggeration whatsoever. Food ibn buffets was mediocre. Food in specialty restaurants was a little better, but never rise to 5 star level. Pool bar was no too great, but regular bars at the lobby, etc... was good. Hemingway bar was great place to be, with the life entertainment and drinks! Entertainment in general was not that great, but i hope that entertainment schedule was posted somewhere, because some small live events couldn;t be missed if we were aware.

The property was very spread out. The beach and pool restrooms were broken so you had to go to lobby or your room. They didn’t clean the beach the first three days we were there so the sargassum smell was quite bad. Many of the restaurant staff showed little to no energy or enthusiasm to serve patrons. The food was be try low quality - no variety and odd buffet / restaurant hours. The gym/spa were above average and the coffee bar was be try nice. Entertainment was below average.

Please be aware not to buy the tours in the hotel, they will scam you. Also the transport provided by the hotel is a problem. Be carefull to leave the bags to the hotel staff, mine were given to another guest when leaving the hotel, I have to go to the airport to recover them. The hotel not even say sorry because they lost my bags, worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. Food is fine.

The property was beautiful and right on the beach. We loved our swim out room. The food was pretty good with a few things needing a bit more flavor/ seasoning but no real complaints. We spent majority of our time at the swim up bars and had a blast. Caesar was amazing as our personal concierge. He made sure we had whatever we needed. The travel club representatives approached us immediately at check in and were slightly deceptive and pushy but I guess that’s expected with any sales people. He even started arguing me after we were finally firm on saying no but I would say that was the only negative. Overall 9/10.

The food was amazing as was all the entertainment/amentities. We went for a week for my brother-in-law's wedding and will definetly be coming back at some point in the future.

We liked the large amount of selections food wise and our concierge was nice and helpful. We did not like how loud the staff was every morning and into the afternoon. Soundproofing could really be improved on. If you usually take an afternoon nap or sleep in, this isn’t the best place for that. Lastly, we did not like the large amount of people constantly walking around trying to sell us stuff (spa, jewelry, sunglasses, etc.). There’s a lot of that on the beach when people want a quiet and relaxing place to just lounge and sunbathe.

The entire resort was like a wonderland experience…. Something out of a dream. The weddings that were performed u see the gazebo was beautiful. The room I stayed in was spacious everything was cleaned and tidy. I definitely would book again and would recommend highly to go. The food was delicious. The staff were polite and thoughtful. For example the bartender remembered my drink. My concierge Sir Cesar was the best at what he did. He took care of my lunch and dinner reservations. It was such a smooth transition after coming off the flight that I was truly able to relax and not worry about anything. I just had to show up. Every restaurant gave 100% top notch service.

If possible,stay away from the casino. Seems very sketchy to me. Buffets service was not very good. Ala carte restaurant's were much better. Pools were very well maintained. Our concierge Cesar was a delight to work with, he made all our dinner reservations before we checked in to to the high demand when you get here..Look for William at the pool bar behind the lobby. He will remember your name and your drink of choice.

A quick walk down the beach provided a massage, tiki bar and Onno's beach side bar that had amazing tacos. The spa was very relaxing and we were a short drive from the airport. PROS: Beautiful BIG campus immaculately manicured. Easy drive from the airport. CONS: I didn't think you were supposed to tip at an all inclusive...but everyone was! I did not bring ANY cash. There were multiple \"concierges\" trying to get you book things...I'm not sure what their purpose was. They were relentless...posted up all over the campus asking if you wanted to book a spa package. They must have been looking for a tip? or maybe worked on commision? Not sure. The Gym was tiny...for the size of the facility, the gym should have been 3x the size. I waited for every machine.

We had Jr Suite Swim Up room (Palace 4000 building). Fabulous location--steps from the beach! Room: Comfortable beds, double sinks, rainshower + hand-held shower head, large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, safe for valuables, mini fridge stocked daily w/ soda, beer, water. (BYO liquid handsoap, unless you like barsoap for hands.) Room felt damp (as expected in tropical climate), but was clean & free of bugs. Room had beautiful patio w/ lounge chairs, swim up pool, & view of the ocean. Room tidied daily (beds made, fresh towels, floor swept...)
Beach was beautiful! Soft white sand, seagreen water, gentle waves like a wave pool. A little seaweed, but nothing too bad & intermittent. Each morning, they clean up seaweed that has accumulated on the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs (but we woke up early to get chairs) & lots of trees & palapas for shade.

Food was ok. We did Los Torres buffet for breakfast. Large selection. Loved the made-to-order egg station. Delicious lattes at Palace Lobby coffee bar. For lunch, yummy pizza at La Uva (beach shack) & vast lunch buffet by Palace pool. Enjoyed panini & pasta stations. Our FABULOUS personal concierge Cesar got us dinner reservations at the ala carte restaurants. Hibachi was our fav. Dinner buffet also good.

Fun sports complex (sand vball, pickleball, mini golf)

Staff was SUPER friendly! Cesar was great--put up decor for daughter's bday, help schedule excursion, etc

They are spending all their money on the Palladium Bavaro it seems! All seating in hotel is very poor with sunken in seats. All loungers on Beach are sagging and broken bar to recline falls off every time you use it. TV. cannot watch because picture freezes on a shot but the recording continues. No beach Bars open because or erosion to area and they have not replaced the Cement base you would stand on nor the steps leading down to the beach at the end of the walkway. Some of the beach Cabana's are tilted do you can not sit a drink on them and to be under one our chairs were on a slope due to the mass amount of sand piled up there. When we would see a Bar waiter to order a drink and by the time he got back a frozen drink was already quite melted, plus he was a long time making his rounds due to his having to go to the pool bar and get the drinks.
The Staff was great although you really need to speak Spanish to explain any special request to them. They only knew minimal English in restaurants and bar wait staff. If it weren't for Chayanne and Cesar our Concierges we would have had more problems.
Our room was clean but needed more hangers which Chayanne was finally able to get me. All food was good but that which was prepared ahead was not warm like the warming trays were not working, even the ham sliced right off the bone was not warm same for the chicken etc.
But we did enjoy the mass selections.

The rooms were weird. There’s a giant door between the shower and the bedroom. It leaks and it’s really creepy. Staff members were loitering in the steps of our building all day and night, and they would talk and make crude gestures behind my daughter’s back - it was inappropriate and almost scary. The beach is one of the softest beaches I’ve ever been to, and it is totally ruined by the vendors harassing you every 4 minutes.

The room bathroom tub was very slow to drain making water stay in the tub overnight. The tub design is very poor, water gets all over the floor while showering. And water pressure was horrible. The power outlets on both sides of the bed did not work. The AC in the room was horrible too. The lowest we could set it for was 71 degrees F making it difficult to sleep at night.
The staff and staff service was great everywhere throughout the resort. The concierge person Cesar was amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great. The place has great potential, just needs to be updated (all bathrooms and bedrooms)

We fell in love with this place ,not because is a wow resort ,it is nice place but because of the staff there.They are by far friendliest and nicest people we have seen in DR after so many trips.So helpful ,happy ,just interacting and smiling.Rafael at front desk went above and checked on us every day(no,we did not have privileged or premium )he made sure we have reservation and just was there from start to end(and i am a tough customer to please). We felt like family not just another customer..All staff is exceptional but of course Rafael was amazing so big Thank You Rafael !Girls at lobby:Denis ,Genesis ,There was couple more but unfortunately don't have their names.Angela -Spa,
We spent a lot of times sitting at lobby with drinks and coffee and watched them.Majority of people did not tip at all ,but they still gave them same service and smiles.Just amazing people .From front desk to housekeeping ,servers,landscaping .Definitely they are the reason to come back.

Excellent resort especially I got personal attention from the hotel main desk and kept in touch with me well in advance and through out the stay. Both Mr Ceaser and Mr Raphael went a above and beyond to ensure my stay was a pleasant one. My sincere thanks to both of them. Expedia customers get a special attention too.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful spot on the beach. Staff were all very friendly and Cesar at concierge was very helpful and made sure everything was great for us. We would definitely like to return at some point. Our room was the ocean front loft and was a fantastic place to sit and relax privately.
