The Golden Tower is THE BEST place to stay in Florence!! Located right in the heart of all the best shops, dining and museums. Hotel is immaculate and the staff are absolutely amazing- friendly, helpful, accommodating. The lobby and bar are perfect for having a wine and recapping your day. Resort spa and massages are an added bonus after long days of shopping! Book spa appointments in advance if possible. Thank you Golden Tower!

The Golden Tower is an excellent well appointed hotel, located in a quiet street, and within 10 minutes of most the central Florence attractions and a number of restaurants. The room was comfortable and well serviced. The breakfast buffet provided a very good selection of hot and cold food. All the hotel staff were unfailingly helpful, friendly and attentive.
We stayed for 8 nights in early October. This was ideal for exploring Florence and it was a pleasure to return to the hotel after crowded days out. We would definitely strongly recommend staying at the Golden Tower.

Fantastic experience here - great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Felt a bit cheeky we had to spend a further €79 to use the spa, as other 4* hotels during our trip provided spa access for free (notably, with more amenities like a cold bath). They did also provide us very kindly with complimentary cocktails, made expertly by Ricardo, to celebrate our honeymoon which we thought was a lovely personal touch!

Amazing property and location; it was about a 10 min walk from Firenze SMN station. Everything in the vicinity was accessible by walking. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Daniela and staff welcomed us on our first day and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.

This property is just wonderful! It is expensive, but beautiful, incredibly well located, and the service is at a Four Seasons level. The breakfast is lovely--in addition to the buffet, they will make you a custom omlet, etc. We were there for my husband's birthday (it was a five night stay), and the staff all wished him Happy Birthday and we were sent a complimentary bottle of prosecco.

Fantastic small hotel in a great location to access all of the main sights in Florence. Check in was excellent, Chiara went above and beyond to be helpful, providing super recommendations, especially for vegetarian restaurants. All staff were friendly, but Chiara and Daniele deserve a special mention.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished and well serviced. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of fresh, healthy and delicious food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again on any future visits to Florence.

Such a great hotel! The staff was beyond accommodating. I checked in early (9am) and left my bags at the front desk, and they invited me to enjoy the breakfast buffet to start my day! Additionally, they made a to-go breakfast for me when I had an early morning flight! The front desk made dinner reservations for me a few weeks ahead of my stay, a very nice option. I stayed in one of the solo rooms and it was very comfortable, with a full bed and great shower. Highly recommend.

This was a second time staying at this hotel, ironically we ended up in the same exact room that we did 6 years ago. The staff is amazing and the location cannot be beat. I was able to having a relaxing massage at the SPA after a long day of walking. Breakfast is amazing and a drink at the bar in the evening is a delight.

First time staying here and it was the perfect location - central to so many things. Enjoyed that it was located in a square with no traffic, as cars had to be buzzed in. The staff here were friendly and accomodating. The breakfast buffet was lovely - probably the nicest one I've experienced! Would definitely come back here as it was such a wonderful stay.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful decoration and many amenities. Located on a quiet street in the historic center. It has a lot of restaurants and cafes around the neighborhood. Room was clean with A/C and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent!
The staff were amazing. Since the moment we arrived they gave us a warm welcome; they immediately offered us refreshments and then provided us with suggestions for activities inside and outside the hotel.
They were always very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Thank you Chiara.

We were always greeted with a smile upon our return.
The location was great and we could walk to almost everything. It was nice being so close to the Piazza Republica. The restaurants were wonderful there.

Golden Tower was by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at in Europe. Rooms & lobby are very clean and comfortable. Rooms had great AC and were cleaned daily. The service is truly top notch from the front desk to the cafe/bar. Everyone who works there was helpful, friendly and spoke perfect English. Truly 5-star service at a relatively cheap price. My fiancée and I will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Florence!

We loved staying in Golden Tower Hotel & Spa! The staff were extremely friendly and nice and kind, Francesco greeted us with kindness and told us the best restaurants to go to for Pasta, Gisel was extremely nice, kind and polite and he wrote a list of all the best shopping in town for leather goods and suggested the best roof tops in town, Victoria gave us the best massage with grape seed oil, and Daniele greeted us at the end with sincerity and kindness.
We had a wonderful time in Florence. The hotel was close to everything and I highly suggest this hotel for anyone who wants to visit Florence . Thank you to all the staff members and also all the people who worked in the breakfast area. I loved the refreshing fresh vegetable juice in the morning. Thank you and hope to be back soon :)

Beautiful hotel! The staff was amazing. Provided us with last minute take away breakfast bags for an early day trip. Called our tour guide on a different day we were unable to get a taxi and had them pick us up from around the corner. Offered us some much needed Prosecco upon checking in from a long travel day! Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delicious. Plan on going back to Florence and will definitely be booking again!

A traditional hotel in an excellent location. The staff were all helpful and very nice. Breakfast was good. My only criticism is the bar should stay open until at least 11pm - it closes at 10pm and most people walk in as it’s closing which is a shame. Otherwise very good.
