Broken light reported on the Saturday morning first thing and still not fixed by the Tuesday when I checked out.
Housekeeping wasn’t that great, sink/sides not wiped down in the bathroom.
Also the top sheet of the bed was pulled up but underneath the bottom sheet and quilt weren’t.
I would estimate about 3 minutes was spent in my room each day and it showed.
Not acceptable for the amount of money the room cost for 4 days.

No help with our luggage. Travelled with my 88 and 83 year old parents. And it is NOT for them. And not for me too. aside from walking up we had to walk further up for the rooms. I expected more.

Good amenities, quiet, and clean. The kitchenette and bathroom were very nice inclusions and the room was spacious with a lot of great light and high ceilings.
Free laundry right outside the room was great, and it was a short jaunt to the city center and close enough to the airport that a single bus got us there in about 10 mins.
Only real complaint was that I never got an answer when trying to call reception during business hours and no response to my email inquiring about extending our stay before check-in. Was able to sort things out in person with no issues though so it's minor.

We were very disappointed. We thought we were getting a lakeview room but the listing is misleading and we had a room with no view, couldn’t even see the mountains as it was like a basement standard room. Wifi was working, the stopper in the bathroom sink didn’t work and we had to walk a long distance on a rock walk path to get to our room. Then we got an upgrade for the next night for a lakeview room which was quite expensive. The view was great and the suite large but otherwise was very disappointing The bathroom had hair on the floor and no stopper for the tub and the underside of the toilet seat had urine stains! The fireplace didn’t work properly. Don’t stay there, not worth it!!!!

These apartments are within walking distance of central Queenstown - which is good, as parking is expensive in the centre of town. The room we stayed in was okay, but nothing like what's promoted on the website (I think they only show the Lake View units and state that standard rooms don't have an oven), but the whole complex is showing it's age, and could do with a renovation. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and considering the price of units closer to the centre of town, it probably does represent good value for money.

The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped for a self-contained stay, a short stroll downhill to the town centre. View was absolutely stunning. Two points of feedback, they could have provided a clothes rack in the shared laundry as dryers are not suitable for some fabrics, also they could charge for or provide a “cooking pack” with salt, pepper, oil and paper towel, would go a long way in reducing waste as we had to purchase some, which we’ll ultimately have to throw away.

The location was great, right next to the bus stop which made it convenient. Communication was poor as we had a late check in which we informed the accommodation ahead of time however there was very minimal communication of how we were to check-in. Additionally, room was very noisy and our neighbors were doing laundry in the shared space until late at night. Accommodation was clean.

Clean room, loved the view. The sign on the outer door “please remove your shoes “ may make sense in the winter but maybe not in the summer? Dryer didn’t work, response time to try & resolve was impressive but mechanical engineer needed his assistant to help resolve the problem but giving it was past 5pm, assistant wasn’t available. we were directed to use a different dryer in a different part of the facility.

Rooms were clean, and supplied all the amenities we needed. The staff were gracious and helpful. Two criticism: 1. At night the bedroom areas were very dimly lit due to completely insufficient illumination. 2. The bathroom has a very badly designed glass shelf with a sharp corner projecting out beyond the counter. I cut my forehead on this leaning forward to put some in the garbage bin. I brought this to the attention of the front office staff and showed them pictures. This needs to be corrected before it injures others.

We made our lake view reservation with this property months in advance and received confirmation. When we arrived after traveling halfway around the world, we were informed there was an “issue” with our room and that the lake view room we had reserved was no longer available.

We were offered the following options:
   •   Move into a room with no view, which was not what we reserved.
   •   Stay one night in a lake view room that would not be ready until that evening, then move to a different room the next day.
   •   Move rooms nightly in order to maintain a lake view for our four-night stay.
   •   Or find another hotel during peak season when nearly every property was fully booked.

These were not reasonable alternatives for a confirmed reservation, especially during high season. Ultimately, the manager was able to locate availability at another hotel, and we relocated. However, this situation cost us a full day of our vacation — time we cannot recover.

We planned and booked this trip months in advance. It is extremely disappointing that a confirmed reservation was not honored upon arrival.

It was our first stay in New Zealand and after a long flight, it was nice to have a spacious king size suite with lake views. The view was amazing! Bathrooms were clean. The unit had everything we needed - hot showers, good water pressure, and kitchenette. There is a parking garage available that is very small and tight but you get used to it. You do hear cars but it didn’t really bother us. Location is convenient, 15-20 minute walk into town. There are stairs to get into the unit and the front desk so just beware if you have lots of luggage.

Location was great, with a magnificent view to the Remarkables. The room was clean and serviced daily - which included replenishing single serve items (tea bags, dishwashing powder etc). It would have been good to have had some salt and pepper grinders as well, to supplement the ability to self-cater. It's a do-able walk to Queenstown with average fitness. It's uphill on return. Undercover parking garage is great. There are 30 steps to get your luggage to upstairs units. Maintenance responses were immediate - which was great.
It's expensive, but worthwhile for a special occasion.

Our stay at Swiss-Belsuites was absolutely unforgettable. We had a stunning view of Lake Wakatipu, and it was so mesmerizing that we honestly didn’t want to leave the room. Watching the lake from our window was an experience on its own—peaceful, magical, and unforgettable.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. It was a perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and great hospitality. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

The place really needs a renovation and has nit been well maintained.

The carpets are heavily stained, the coffee table fill of chips and the bathroom is old and has mildew. There was a bad stench coming from the garbage disposal in the sink and the gas fire was broken - with 2 staff members attending and couldn't be fixed the balcony was super dirty and cobwebs on seats.

That being said the view is awesome from the balcony.

They do charge for parking even though every apartment has a space underneath which feels a little but of a rip off and charging for a late checkout of 11 or 12 was also quite rough.

But - being an apartment and the view made it a good stay.

Staff were responsive when we told them that the toilet in our room was broken. However there were a lot of other maintenance items in the room that we decided to just live with - broken microwave door, broken kitchen cupboard door, light switches that didn’t do anything, flickering lightbulbs above the bed, water damage on the floor by the sink, broken shutters that divided the bedroom from the living room. Additionally the standard of cleaning wasn’t great - there was a mug in the cupboard when we arrived that was filthy and very obviously hadn’t been cleaned, there was somebody else’s underwear in the dryer, and the housekeeping (when we asked them to do it) was very “once over lightly”. And there are a lot of stairs! Given we paid a premium price, it didn’t feel like a premium experience.

This place was better than the reviews we read before booking. Easy and smooth check in by very friendly and professional staff. Convenient allocated car park for an fee underneath the building. The one bedroom apartment was spotless and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Close to the main. CBD and easy drive from the airport. We are regular walkers and enjoyed a few strolls to the CBD…. you can use cross streets to go through the less steeper sides. Lots of parking around the outskirts of town too . Spacious room, lovely kitchen - and awesome view of the lake and mountains. Some low level traffic noise during peak hours if you’re highly susceptible to that because the lounge room faces the main road that connects Queenstown CBD to the airport. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The view from the suite is gorgeous! The big window panes are spotless and we enjoyed sitting in the spacious living room looking out to the lake and mountains. A short walk into town and Queenstown Gardens.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. After reading reviews about the room we originally booked, we contacted the hotel directly via e-mail to ensure that they knew that the trip was for an important occasion for us and everything could be perfectly kept. They offered a room upgrade and we accepted. Our stay was overall satisfactory, they gave us brownies to welcome us which was nice. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view, however there are things that were a bit disappointing for us. The “continental breakfast” that is included was a jar of cereals, some bread left in the fridge, an orange juice, a yogurt and some mini spreads and some amenities such as tea and coffee sachets. That is really not something that someone expects when they booked an accomodation that says “breakfast included”. Also, they advertise the place with a “nearby” gym facility. The gym is a 20min walk to town and you have to pay a $23 dollar fee PER DAY. We were gutted when we heard that as we did not find this information anywhere prior to booking the hotel. The staff was super friendly, I think this is mostly a management and marketing issue than anything else.

We booked a lake-view studio but unfortunately ended up with a hedge view instead; at least until our last morning, when the hedge was removed at around 8:30am!
The room itself was spacious but quite dated, with décor that hasn’t been refreshed in some time.
The price seems to reflect the room size rather than the overall experience. It was also a bit surprising to find that, although each room has an allocated parking space, there’s an additional fee to use it.

On the positive side, the staff were very friendly, everything was clean, and the location is excellent.

Strangers walked into our room in the middle of the night so that sucked. Blind was broken so all the foot traffic from the reception could see me and wasn’t private. Very loud. You can hear everyone next door talking like they were in the room with you. No black out blinds and it gets bright very early in the morning. Paid parking yet the parking is apartment specific so why it’s not included doesn’t make sense.

The apartment had beautiful views and was perfect size with amenities for 2 people.
Cons: no running water from time we checked in at 2pm till after 10pm we couldn’t use the toilet or shower. Water pipe was getting worked on.
Bathroom could have been cleaner and a dusty smell that lingered.
Had to ask for more coffee pods at reception even when apartment was serviced daily.
Staff were lovely, felt sorry for the one receptionist who was left alone to deal with everyone’s enquiries and complaints with the water issue.
Still waiting for our bond refund after 2 days.

I specifically asked for a room that was close to entrance and didnt require much stairs or walking since my stay was to relax after just running the Sydney Marathon...yet they gave me a room that so far away it was the last room at the end of the walkway up 2 set of stairs. Room service also, folded up towels i had on the floor in the bathroom and put them back on the wall to be used again which I want to assume may have been accidental. the property itself otherwise is suitable and nice and within 20-30 minute walking distance to the main part of town.

We had a great stay in Queenstown, we had the best room available however the toilet was leaking keeping us awake at night, the dishwasher was broken and we booked the spa the arrived to go to the spa only to be told oh sorry it’s not available as it’s dirty, we planned our day around the spa they had our number and didn’t call us to let us know, so that was pretty poor for a higher end hotel

I like that my room was warm, tidy and clean.The bed and shower was great. The staff are awesome and easy to talk to. Delicious breakfast.
There was a lot of noise coming from outside our room from the room next to ours someone kept going in and out. we heard someone snort their snot from that room and it was loud. Pillows were to soft. We just arrived and staff member trying to get in with the key a couple of times to give our breakfast early for our whole stay instead of knocking. Someone parked on our paid parking space that i paid for on the second night and didnt move after that. Staff said there was a paper with password and user name on the desk twice and there wasnt.

Cet hébergement ne mérite pas ses 5 étoiles à part pour la vue qui est magnifique. L'appartement aurait besoin d'être rénové notamment au niveau du mobilier et de la salle de bain avec des joints noirs et pommeau de douche cassé. Just outside of Queenstown centre where there are plenty of food and dining options. We did have a car and it only took us a couple of minutes to drive there so it would be about 10-15 min walk to the centre. Apartment was clean and modern and the bed was comfortable. We really liked the gas fire place.

Lovely room but it’s annoying that the fan in the bathroom was connected to the light so always had to be on. I found the condition of the mattress and pillow protectors to be unsatisfactory. Great they had them but more regular replacement is needed - slack housekeeping!
