PROS:
10 min. drive to airport.
12 mins. drive to downtown.
Safe hotel for solo traveller.
Staff were friendly.
Big room.
Price was reasonable.
Has a microwave & kitchen.
New bathroom and doorway flooring.
Relatively clean except for the towels & bed sheets.
$10 airport shuttle was prompt.
There was construction on site but I didn’t hear it in the mornings/evenings.

CONS:
Right beside the hwy - if you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep.
Wi-Fi cuts in & out & when I complained to the desk, they were friendly but said they wouldn’t do anything about it & it was my phone. It worked 3-4hrs later. It cut out 2 out of the 3 days I stayed.
Towels & bed sheets had stains on them. Got different towels and they were clean.
Elevator smelled but it works.

The staff wa good , nice people, the hotel is under construction, thus should close the entire hotel until they remodel all the rooms , my room was terrible, the smell was bad , two big stains on the carpet, looked like oil stains , one of the wall was terrible, stains in the furniture, never again , good luck people.

Clean and comfortable. But working asked for for an expensive hotel near the airport. Ask if they have a shuttle service. While, it was not offered online so I took an Lyft to get to the property, when I left I discovered they did have a shuttle and I was able to use that for a trip back to the airport.

We had an early flight out of Indianapolis, and opted to arrive a day early and get some rest. There was loud. construction going on in the room above us until after 9:00 P. M. We could not even hear the television without turning it up very loud.

We were charged an extra fee to check in, plus they charged us for a shuttle ride to the airport in the morning. Also the driver to the airport was not so good, he tailgated the whole way and was unsafe.

Entered the second floor off elevator smelled musty. Bathroom has mold in the shower corners. Had a fake eyelash hanging on bathroom door hinge. Had peeling paint and flakes hanging from ceiling. Patchwork wallpaper was peeling off. This hotel needs a makeover.

This property needs updated desperately. I booked a night to catch a morning flight at the Indianapolis airport. BEWARE… the airport has moved! The area where the old airport was is being left to rot and feels unsafe. this hotel was filthy! We had a non-refundable reservation. My friend arrived before I did and as soon as i got there and took a look at the room, we left and went to the new airport area and stayed at a much better place! Yes, we forfeited our money because it was such a dive! We did not even lay our suitcases on the couch or carpet! DO NOT STAY IN THE “FORTUNE CIRCLE” AREA!!! Look for hotels near AMERIPLEX PARKWAY!!

The bathroom was not very clean, there was stains on much of the bedding thankfully brought own blankets and pillows. Front desk worker was very nice . Didn’t check in til 9:30pm and was leaving at 420am for a flight so did not be asked to move.

Stayed here last year and forgot we were charged $10 each for the shuttle back to the airport when competitors are free. Also not the cheapest! The vane to and from the airport is in terrible condition and smelled horrible! I will no longer stay at Comfort Inns or your affiliates.

I will preface by saying I have travelled all over the US and Europe staying in motels, hostels, and camping. As long as I can lay my head down & shower, I’m happy. I consider myself low maintenance. But this bathroom was terrifying. Wallpaper pealing off and glued back on, dry wall redone terribly (not even painted), obvious quick fixes to flooding from the floor above, caulking layered so thick & crooked I’m pretty sure my 5 year old could’ve done it better not to mention it being covered in pink mold. Couch cushions didn’t even match the loveseat, and the table was covered in white stuff that couldn’t be wiped off. I needed somewhere cheap to stay to stay within budget, and chose this place bc it had pretty good reviews, but I must’ve gotten one of the few bad rooms. If you get room 210, don’t even bother going to see it - ask for a new room!

Staff gave me the wrong room when I first checked in, but were apologetic and switched me to the correct room I had booked (this took time as I had to wait for others to check in first). Then my new room wasn’t particularly clean. The door keycard reader didn’t light green when I swiped my card and only worked half the time (it stopped working altogether the morning I was there), there were spiders in the bathroom, and the light switch cover in the bathroom was half missing, exposing wires. Not a good look. The pool was open until 10pm, which was nice, but when I went there at 9:15pm, two men with two young children were there and they were encouraging the kids to splash as much as humanly possible, making the pool deck so slippery I almost fell. They continued to do cannonballs into the pool and violently splash each other and scream loudly even when I went in the water and even kicked me at one point. Ridiculous. They stayed there until 9:54pm. What a miserable experience. Someone from the hotel should’ve told them that behavior wasn’t allowed, nor should kids be running around the pool deck and doing cannonballs. Breakfast was decent, but all carbs—no eggs or other proteins aside from some yogurt. Disappointed it was all bread and muffins as I can’t eat that.

It needs to be updated. The soda (bed) was saggy. Everything is on worn condition. Breakfast was too limited and didn't seem fresh. Of the 4 night we stayed, we went elsewhere for breakfast for the first 3 because of the selection. We were in a hurry to leave after the 4th night, so we ate what was provided. Excessive frost in the freezer section of the room fridge limited our storage of our ice packs we needed for our coolers that we were taking to the race track.

Cheap is the only good thing about this place

When you hear you get what you paid for, I still think I might have overpaid for my room. I had a three night stay and stayed for only two nights. First thing you notice when walking into the building is that the hotel smells. I wouldn't say a bad smell but it wasn't pleasant. The second thing is they didn't have any linen or sheets available for the pull out bed I had. I went to talk to the staff on duty (same guy every day I was there at the same time), and he advised that they are sold out and have no extra sheets available to give me. I also tried taking a shower and the showers were pretty dirty. I only had 4 towels and I needed 5 because I put down I had five guest for my reservation. I went back down and ask for towels for my family and they advised they ran out of towels too because they were sold out. This happened both days we stayed. We went to the hotel pool and they had 0 towels and we had to ask for them both days we tried the pool. It's an average pool with nothing special. There is a sauna but the place you sit in the sauna was broken and didn't feel very safe to even be inside. The only thing about this place is that it was the cheapest place you could go to. Breakfast is okay and air conditioning worked at least. Parking is abundant for a place that gets \"sold out\". Just beware that you'll get low quality and poor customer service. If I could give less stars, I would. Avoid if you want a decent time.

It was Ok for a last minute stop. $105 for one night for 5 people. We got a suite, 2 beds and a pullout sofa bed. Sounded perfect. The sofa bed was broken, leaning to the side and the mattress was ridiculously thin and unsupportive. The staff was responsive when asked for bedding and such, but we had to go to the desk to get them. The room was clean, beds were mediocre at best, and the sheets sounded like they were made from loose leaf paper. It was right off the highway, by the airport, so noise was expected. The bathroom ceiling was crumbling and it looked like a blind man recaulked the bathtub. Its a place to sleep, quality of sleep differing depending on your sensibilities, but not much more.

There was a Stay America next door which looked like temporary housing for some shady people. Didn't feel safe. Check in was fine, but I asked for 2 beds and a sofa couch. We got to the room and there were 2 beds and a couch, but no linens for the couch. When we pulled it out, we determined that we wouldn't want to sleep on it anyways (old and dirty). The ceiling in the bathroom was cut up from repairs, but not patched. The whole place just felt in disrepair. We had an early flight and need to check out at 4:00 am. We went to the front desk and rang for an attendant. No one came. There was no drop box for the key so I pushed it under the office door. It was inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

The stay was okay. The beds were hard, had a pull out couch that had no sheets or blankets, so had to request from the front desk. There was a bandaid over the smoke detector. There was a smell in the hallways. The wallpaper was peeling. There was rust in the pool area. There weren’t any towels in the pool area. The elevator license was expired. The pillows were terrible. The people behind the desk were pleasant. The breakfast food was mediocre.

To start I reserved 2 rooms on the app. Only one was booked and the desk clerk refused to honor the price for my coworker, despite showing the double reservation receipt on the app to him. Cost us an extra 100+dollars.

All the doors slam through out the building. Which is why I believe we both woke up every 2-2.5 hours each night, even though we were in separate areas.

Did not get a decent night of sleep the entire 4 night stay.

The Friday morning we managed to have breakfast was a let down. Biscuits were like rocks and the cereal was stale.

Landscaping was haggard.

Coworkers wall paper was peeling.

I usually enjoy a stay at comfort inn. This however felt like a lower tier hotel.

Shower head leaked sprayed everywhere! The toilet seat was loose.. The pullout bed was horrible! Kids couldn't even sleep on it! Someone must of spilled food or something on the bed, they cleaned the fitted sheet..but didnt clean the mattresses pad! It was all crusty.. nasty! I left notes in the room for house keeping.. plus i told front office staff.

Touch of modern needed

Biscuits and gravy both mornings, along with your standard cereals, waffles, yogurt, fruit, assorted breads/muffins, juices, coffee. Not bad. Bed comfortable. All staff we came across were friendly. The whole place definitely needs upgrades and remodeling. We stay at Comfort Suites occasionally in Fort Wayne, which rooms and most of hotel have been remodeled. We were expecting the same here, but carpeting, furniture, everything has been around quite awhile. I don't recall the pictures showing these rooms - I don't remember them being so dark on the app. Rooms however, very spacious! No pictures of room, but did include a few of bathroom.

Overall a great experience! The room was spacious for the price and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the motion sponsored light turning on and off randomly but we just covered the motion sensor with some tape. The furnishings were pretty dated but the staff told us they should be updated really soon. Would stay here again.

Decent basic, no-frills hotel. The rooms were a little worn out and in need of updating. The hotel is in an area that has nothing much other than other hotels around. No restaurants in walking distance. There were plenty of options 10 minutes away, but the hotel itself is pretty isolated. If all you need is a basic accommodation, this will work.

Worst hotel ever!

The establishment was way more rundown than the photos lead on, and the surface was absolutely terrible. Breakfast was awful, and they were out of so many things. The hotel reeked of marijuana everywhere you looked. The pool was freezing cold and so many broken tiles and algae growing on those tiles around the pool. Absolutely no towels for the pool and then we asked for some. They were very begrudgingly given to us. Would never stay here in this place needs to be torn down.

It's not too bad for the price. But, the pool was merky, the ac barely was cold, and there's just a lot of small things that haven't been updated. For example- the walls of the bathroom have a lot of wear and tear.

The only true complaint I have is the AC not running cold and the facility being run down which included problems with key card (couldn't reenter my door on one occasion and side doors have a card swipe but are completely inaccessible).

We got to the hotel about 3:15, but they would not let us check-in until 5:00. Check-in is at 3:00, but we weren’t allowed to Check-in until 5:00 because no room was available. There was no one in line but us. Floor in registration area and kitchen area was sticky. Old rooms; needs updated. For us not being able to check-in, we were late for our engagement. I do not recommend this hotel.

You'll want to stay somewhere else

The shower surround in our bathroom had a giant hole in it where the soap holder use to be. You could not see the bottom of the pool through the murky water and I'm confident there was a layer of scum on the top of the water. The sauna was in need of repair as the seat wasn't sturdy and was missing some planks.
