Hot tub in my room came in handy. I came to town for a concert and I definitely enjoyed coming back to my room and soaking in the hot tub, after standing for 6 hours. Will definitely recommend and come back when I come to indy.

Almost everything was good I had a couple issues though minor issue the breakfast seemed rushed and the milk was warm and the man that opened the milk container reached in his pocket pulled out what looked to be his personal folding pocket knife opened it and stuck it in the seal obviously containing the milk inside with who knows what he had used the knife for prior to cutting the seel on the milk and wiping the blade of on his pants before folding it back up and putting back in his pocket . I know GROSS RIGHT . I immediately surrendered my breakfast to the trash can .Then later in the day the toilet became clogged and wouldn't flush so I dial the front desk to inform them and I was going to ask for a plunger . And the lady kindly informed me she would let maintenance know and they would be right up to handle the situation I had dozed off for a nap waking up to realize no one ever came for the toilet.i then called back down to the front desk to see why this was not a priority. Only to be told the maintenance man have the room number confused and went to the wrong room not sure if he went to the room that he thought it was realized the toilet wasn't clogged and didn't care to investigate the situation any further while we're still sitting in the room with a clogged up toilet for hours at this point so I called back again the lady at the front desk seems surprised that he had not now that he knew the correct room number came and rectified the problem so I had to go downstairs

The reception staff were incredibly rude. They yelled at my partner and tried to embarrass her during breakfast because they did not like that she was wearing running shorts. While the rest of the experience was enjoyable, the staff and their rude comments has impacted enough that we will not be staying again.

Overall we had a decent stay. Our room was clean and I really liked the shower and the included lotion, body wash, and conditioner. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a perfect location with a lot of stores nearby, which made everything very convenient.

One downside was that the walls seem thin because I could hear the people in the room next to us. My room also didn’t have carpet, which I personally didn’t mind.

The biggest concern was the pool area. Unfortunately, I saw about five people slip while entering the pool because the steps in the water are very slippery. One of the people who fell was my son. The handle bar going into the pool is also very loose, which makes me think others may have fallen and grabbed onto it. This is a serious safety hazard and something that really needs attention.

The hot tub was very nice though, no complaints there. Overall it’s a good hotel and could easily be a 5-star experience if the pool safety issue was fixed.

Friendly staff at front desk with easy check in. Ned was comfortable. The hotel was lacking in cleanliness. Floors in the room, and throughout, had clearly not been swept - hair, dust, and small pieces of paper in the corners and throughout the room. One of the largest walls in the room had screws sticking out with nothing hanging. Looked unkempt. Marijuana and cigarette smell was also pretty strong throughout the building. Hotel was just ok for the night. Would not return.

The room was fairly clean. There was a notable amount of west and treat. It looked like a lot of previous water damage. The 2nd floor looked like it had buckled at dinner point and the walls at the bottom near the restroom appeared to previously have had water damage also.
The faucet was broken and kept falling off Everytime I washed my hands, that was a little annoying.
The beds were extremely soft and comfortable, nice pillows, comfy covers. A good selection of tv channels was nice. The shower had a good amount of pressure and was refreshing.
The noise level was a lot. We're could hear a bunch of banging from upstairs and full conversations of the people in the next room.

Loved the check out staff. Nice and positive

The breakfast was ok, could have been better but not horrible, just standard hotel food

We selected this location for its amenities (pool and hot tub). We went to the hot tub and there were 4 children in it. There were approximately 16 children in the pool. We noticed only one person had a key to enter the area but was letting a lot of other people inside. We did not get to use the area because of the number of people.

This hotel was dated through out although the rooms had been remodeled somewhat? The finish work was very noticeable. The biggest issues we had was the cleanliness and the shower which was so dirty and was falling apart. Caulk was old and yellow inside of shower, hair and stains on the ceiling of shower. Not clean. Apart from these issues, the staff was very friendly and the airport shuttle driver was great. Overall I would never return. Go elsewhere. Was not pleasant considering how nasty the shower was!

It was a average hotel, its noisy. No carpet in the halls or rooms, noisy hallway. Cleaning staff is noisy at 630am out in the hall yelling and talking to each other. A sliding barn door for a bathroom door, not much privacy if you know what i mean.

The windows didnt lock on any floor. They gave me multiple rooms. They all had a smokey smell. But the real issue was the pool. Someone had visibly thrown up and had diarrhea in the pool. Another guest told us when we tried to enter. They were all seated in the hot tub which was lukewarm at best. Upon visually looking at the pool it had floating debris and sunken matter on the floor. In the morning the staff had yet to address it or put signs up.

Aside from being under renovation, the place is just genuinely dirty. A perfect example of this is the women’s bathroom in the pool area. For three days a used menstrual pad and toilet paper/paper towels with human waste sat on the bathroom floor. For three days, it was probably still there this morning at checkout. And the men’s bathroom wasn’t much better, urine stains on the seat and stuff in the sink. Again, it was like that for at least three days. This is the worst hotel pool area I’ve ever seen. Garbage was left on the deck overnight, there seems to be algae growing in certain spots. Just absolutely filthy. The rooms were okay, floors could use a broom and mop/swiffer. The bedding had unknown stains. Again just a genuinely dirty place.

Upstairs was under construction, although there was no improvement/change during our 4 days there. The hottub was dirty, various hair, lint, and other debris floating in the water. Barn doors on the bathrooms were something that our 3-rooms worth of guest could ALL agree are a terrible idea. On the PLUS side, the breakfast was fantastic, the service was great, and the hotel shuttle was super handy since we rented a car from somewhere not located at the airport. The bed was comfortable enough, it wasn't too noisy, and overall it was an ok stay.

My only complaint is the bed pillows. They are too small and not enough. I asked for more pillows twice but never received them. Other than that, it was a great stay!

I was in a suite and the couch had a urine smell. I told the staff, nothing was done. The elevator was broke and my wife is in a wheelchair. So we stayed in the room. I will not go back.

Quality is poor for the price.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. There have been some remodels to the rooms since the first time I stayed, which was nice. However, the rest of the hotel could use some serious improvements. One of the elevators was out of order, leaving only one working elevator. The ice machine on my floor was removed, so in order to get ice I had to go to the first floor, which meant waiting for the only operating elevator. When I was checking in, they told me they had second and third floor rooms available and asked which I preferred. I asked for the third floor so I wouldn't have to worry about anyone being above me, stomping around on the floor... I was put on the second floor, with very loud neighbors above me. The bed was hard, the pillows were even worse, and I haven't seen a television so small in a hotel room in a long time. I just feel like the overall quality does not justify the price of the rooms and I will definitely choose a different hotel next time I visit my mother-in-law in Indy.

The only place I will stay in Indy!

This my third year staying at this Wyndham and I am never sorry I came! The staff is by far the best, the housekeeping staff is very accommodating and the rooms are always clean and ready for check in. I've been in the hotel business for over 40 years and wish all of my rooms looked as good as those at Wingate by Wyndham. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Not enough parking

I stay here often because i travel out of town to visit my mom each month. This time their lot was full after MN. It's typically a challenge with parking with several surrounding hotels clustered together. I parked on street adjacent to Sam's club ( not the parking lot) with absolutely No signage regarding towing and was towed along with several other guests. My problem with hotel is they dont have any specific signage just 'dont park in Sam's parking lot' inside and no information at desk for contacting tow company. The staff was kind and allowed me to store my belongings until I returned after taking Lyft an hour plus later. Wingate do better for your guests!
