I should’ve read these reviews better because there is no way on this planet the 5 start reviews on here are real or accurate. For starters, how does a non-smoking hotel smell like an old ashtray? Also, I would’ve said the room wasn’t horrible if they didn’t steal my money. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest but the atmosphere of this location is atrocious. On night one I got back from working late and my card didn’t work. I had to go all the way to the other side at Royal Inn, dodge the parking lot of craters, only to get a man’s help letting me in because no one is at their front desk. There were police nightly in the parking lot, domestic arguments in the hallway, and the tv and internet went in and out all week. The day I checked out I made three trips to my car but my keycard was already shut off yet the kind housekeeper, their one shiny star, let me back in my room to get the rest of my stuff. I’m a business, solo traveler. I have no pets and I had no visitors. I even cleaned up the room myself and yet I haven’t received my deposit back. After reading other reviews it’s probably because I took a shower and used their towels there. They are thieves and not returning deposits. I’ve messaged the hotel and called multiple times but no one picks up the phone. My “sketchy” radar went off when I got there and I should’ve listened. Do not stay here. The headache and trouble is not worth the pennies saved!!!

The flooring in the bathroom was bowing because of water damage. The room smelled like smoke there was cigarette burns in the comforter and a fee of $50 which was not stated anywhere even through you guys. It was okay hotel but not a over $60 room

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, and the room was clean. However, the lobby and hallway smelled heavily of Marijuana and cigarette smoke. Along the sidewalk of the building there was tons of dog poop. The hallways, lobby, and rooms are extremely dark. The wifi didn't work. There was no one to check us in, it needed to be done via video conference with a kiosk in the lobby. The photos of the rooms are very misleading. Honestly if I had the option to cancel my reservation I would have.

To start, I slipped multiple times coming into the hotel due to the driveway not being plowed or salted. I make it into the hotel, and there is a person on GoogleMeet acting as the front desk. The hallway and room smelled like smoke, the hallway was extremely dark due to the lack of lighting. Our tv was broken and there was no wifi even though it states in their listing that there is. If you need a place to stay and don’t care about the condition, this would work for you. If you want an actually decent place, steer clear.

No heating: Air condition did not work to heat the room. From 11:00 pm to 3:00 am they kept telling me a technician was coming, but no one came. Finally i wore my street clothes, parka, toque, muffker, gloves and socks and bundled nyself to get som sleep.. There was a blizzard outside.

At 10:00, i complained to the housekeeping staff. The front desk clerk, who knew ecerything, clained i needed to be taught. So she came over and struggked for 15 minutes BUT IN VAUN. BTW, im a 80 year old veteran, mechanical engineer whose specialization is Air conditioning and refrigeration. Finally, they put the blane on me saying \"Why did you not adk for a different room?\"
They promised to get ne a full refund.....i have not seen that yet

Roaches in room, floor coming up especially in bathroom where the roaches were. Walls are thin and you can hear tvs in other rooms all night. Refusal to give a refund after cancelling even with a legitimate concern. No one available at front desk and even absent at times they're supposed to be there. Location is in a ghetto looking area. Stench of cigarettes and marijuana in the air. Room TV remote didn't work. No breakfast. Vending machines expensive.

Nearly every single room the Wi-Fi is unusable. The speeds are so slow that any device connected to the Wi-Fi can barely load a standard quality video. I wish the motel would invest in some better Wi-Fi. Also, the microwave turntables do not rotate on at least half the microwaves making it a pain to microwave food evenly and cook it properly.

The room wasn't very clean. The air/heat blower was so loud I had to leave it off because it was too loud to sleep. I paid a $35 deposit when I checked in and was told the deposit would be refunded when I checked out if there was no damage to the room. I got a $25 credit rather than the $35 I paid. I called for 2 days trying to speak with someone at the hotel and when someone answered she said the reason they kept my $10 was because my towels were stained. That couldn’t be because all I did was take a shower and I don't even wear makeup that could possibly do this. She kept saying they had to buy new towels so that was what the $10 charge was for.

This place is absolutely filthy. The bed mattress isn’t a mattress. It’s a 4 inch thick with no box spring sorry excuse for a mattress. The entire place wreaked of marijuana. The parking lot is ridiculously full of pot holes. The swimming pool is filled in with concrete. The upper security door was propped open by the cleaning staff all evening. The hallway was filthy. The bathroom door was so water damaged that it delaminated. The blankets had cigarette burns in them and the bathroom towels were so small they couldn’t wrap halfway around me. The kitchenette had nothing in it. No glasses, plates etc. they were all empty. I strongly recommend you pick a better place.

No one on site after hours so i paid for a stay through Hotels.com that i didnt even get to use. Apparently it is a shared building hotel with the Royal hotel. After realizing no one was there for me to check-in, i asked the Royal about getting a room just for 4 hours and the ass hole working was trying to charge me $120 for a few hours. I decided to drive on home and as i left i drove around the building and it looked like a lot of very shady business was going on. Highly recommend staying away.

The important things: the room and bed were bright and clean; the bed and shower comfortable. Check-in was a breeze. Easy onsite parking. Super convenient and met all the good markers of a budget property.

Approach is tricky, as the hotel is tucked behind a gas station and a U-Haul depot. Won't lie. It seemed a little sketch, but once inside, all was good. Soap was a bit gritty/harsh and the bed kinda like sleeping on a foamy but no real complaints. I'd definitely stay there again.

The property is obviously old. The staff seemed nice enough, but there's only so much that can be done with the facility.

There were cockroaches in our room. The pillows were old, mismatched & inadequate. There was a long hair in the made bed. The a/c was locked at 69, so we had to either be cold (with only a light blanket provided on the bed) or deal with a room that got hot fairly quickly.

The other people around us were NOISY! Shouting, talking & laughing loudly until 4 am. That is something that could have been controlled by the management.

Obviously, we wouldn't ever return to this property or recommend it to others, despite the polite interactions we had with the staff at the desk.

Not a bad place to stay

Check-in was slow as there was nobody at the desk when we arrived. Waited 10-15 minutes for the front desk person to show up. The room rates were very budget friendly, and this is definitely not a high end property, but you get what you pay for. We were there for the NHRA U.S. Nationals, so we weren't in the room much, but it was cheap and convenient. Room furniture could be updated, but overall, it was a good stay. Staff was friendly.

It was nice place to lay my head in a fairly underfunded neighborhood, it wasn’t too active and I felt safe. It was also quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Upon walking in, you can tell that people have definitely smoked in the hallways at one point, but the rooms are clean and don’t hold any odor. Housekeeping was fantastic, I did request extra pillows because I needed to elevate my ankles after long walks at the convention center, but I managed to make it okay. Definitely bring your own soap though, for an “extended stay” the soap is the size of two quarters stacked together so it will barely last a single shower. The small fridge, kitchenette and microwave definitely came in handy, and was clean and ready for use. May definitely book again for next year!

The propertywas great for what we needed. The room was clean and the staff friendly. There was a conjoined hotel connected to the property for long-term tennents who were often a bit noisey at some parts of the evening. There was also part of the parking lot was used to store U-hauls so there was plenty of parking space but we did not have a vehicle. There was a nearby busstop that brought you right down town, which was very helpful.

Surprisingly satisfied.

Not a fancy hotel but was upgraded to a bigger room due to an early check in. Very unexpected and greatly appreciated. Could have made us wait till check in time. Very clean with nice features - kitchenette with sink, cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. Very quiet. Very comfortable. I would stay here again. Priced right. Only thing missing was a mirror in the room.

When checking out I told him that a lady(guest) asked me for a shower towel because her own room didn’t have any. I gave her some. The front desk questioned me on why I did that, and he was’t happy. He said he was keeping the $35 deposit because of that. I was not happy, I was just being responsible telling him that and being nice to someone.

Not sure why there wasn't a mirror in my or my friend's room. No chair in my room, friend had at least a usable 4 legged chair. I appreciated the vinyl plank flooring. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked well. When I first entered the room the smoke detector was chirping. The television in 151 has bad pixels and should be replaced.
I payed about half price of normal by booking 7 months ahead and I did get a better experience than I expected.

Check in went very smooth. The manager told us to look at the room and make sure we liked it, said if we didn't he could move us across the hall. The room was fine. The place is older, but was clean. The tub had a hole of sorts that had a rubber mat over it so you really did not see it and did not affect showering. The ice machine was great, always had ice when I topped off my cooler. The manager was quick to bring me an additional wash cloth when they only gave us one for two of us. Was a very short drive to IMS. It worked for us as we were not in the room very often. I would stay again.

Entire place smelt like weed all the through the halls, sketchy people were hanging around the building and in the parking lot was afraid to leave my car out there over night. And when we checked out we left the room in perfect condition and exactly how we found it but they kept our deposit anyway. When we called about it and tried to fix it and get it back they lied and said they already refunded it but they obviously didn’t since it was reflected in my bank account there was no refund. Overall I would not stay here again and would recommend anyway to stay away.

I called the desk for sheets and towels, hours after housekeeping rounded due to having an accident. The manager and housekeeper came to the room and the manager questioned me about why I needed these things after telling housekeeping I didn’t need anything. I explained I had an accident and he told me he would need to come into the room to check. I was very uncomfortable with is and just told them both nevermind and I would figure it out myself.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay and they immediately charged me without even getting to see the room, walked in looked relatively clean however when i layed down in the bed, maybe 20 mins in i started getting itchy out of nowhere through out my entire body, not only itching but at some points it would sting, i asked the guy at the front desk all he said is he doesnt know, asked for a refund, he said ge cant do that. Imagine getting charged for a room and you didnt even get to see it, absolutely a terrible experience.
