It is an older building. We found the a/c to be lacking. We actually had to asked to be moved to a different room as the first one was not cooling at all. They tried to move us to a different room that was immediately cool when you walked in but was not cleaned for a new guest so was sent to a third room. A little cooler then the first but still seemed to not have a/c working correctly. I would not want to be in either room in July when it is really hot. The breakfast food was not monitored so two out of the five days we stayed there was very little food to choose from. The elevator is a half size and at maximum three people can fit in it with no luggage. The laundry and ice on the third floor was out of order as also a second elevator for guests. The underground garage is very low, anything taller then a minivan will not fit in it and there is very few street level spots, sharp turns to get into the spots. It was budget friendly, the staff was very nice.

Where do I even start with this place, I was at this hotel for just one night. It is located in a not so nice area's. As soon as I drove to the Hotel there was a Police Car parked outside which is usually not a good sign. Parking is a first come first serve. Some people do not even know how to park their cars.
There are people sitting out in the parking lot smoking weed and all sorts of \"things.\"
My check in was good, but the property and some of the guests are a bit sketchy. The area like I said is not a great area to be in.
The next day as I get ready to check out another police car was parked outside again. This does not make me feel safe. My room was very nice but the elevator's are old, outdated, people leave the parking garage doors open so they come and out at all times. The elevators are not cleaned and the hallways reek of weed and people vaping. There is a sign that say's \"If we suspect that you (Hotel Guest) are smoking in the room there is a $150.00 charge.\" I am like how would you even know if a Hotel guest is smoking in their rooms. Also, you cannot even open the widows if you want fresh air. So you have to inhale all that smell coming from the other rooms.
Again seeing police cars at the hotel, people smoking in the parking lot instead of a designated area, doors being left opened no security patrol, smelly rooms, cannot open a window, dirty and slow elevator, I could not wait to check out the next day.

The internet did not work during my stay. The desk attendant tried to help, but was unable to resolve the issue. The TV would not tune to a single channel, making it unusable as well.

There was a dirty rag left on the dresser when I arrived, and I noticed moldy carpet in the basement parking ramp. The morning desk clerk also had difficulty listening to concerns and came across as having an attitude.
Because the hotel's internet was unavailable, I had to purchase additional cellular data in order to get online. The manager was extremely difficult to reach, and when she finally responded, she apologized but offered no compensation or accommodation for the inconvenience. She told me that the internet is only an only accessible to Rewards Members. That is insane!

Overall, the combination of maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, poor communication, and lack of customer service made for a disappointing stay.

This hotel was in the city. There was only one handicap parking space near the entrance. The bottom parking area was very scary, since it looked like a place where drug deals would be done. Then I parked further away from the entrance and there was homeless people smoking which made me very uncomfortable. If I was traveling alone this isn't a hotel I would consider. Once inside though the staff was nice. The elevator was extremely old and didn't feel safe. The tub looked like it had rusty water in it, so I didn't use it. However, the beds were comfortable. Use your discretion in booking this hotel.

Picked this hotel because it was within walking distance to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We were attending a Fever game. This was about the only plus to this hotel. There is limited parking on the street level of the hotel. There is underground parking, but it you have a truck or comparable size it won't fit down there. You have to park behind the garage & have them comp your parking there. We parked in the underground parking area, & it was filthy down there. Broken bottles & trash were all around. I mentioned this at check in & was told that the person who takes care of that was in a car accident. Not sure why someone else from the hotel couldn't clean up down there. Only the main lobby elevator was working at the hotel, the other was out of service. It took forever for the elevator most of the time that we ended up taking the stairs. The main elevator can only hold about 3 people also. The room was clean except the shower looked dirty. Not sure if this is due to age or not. Breakfast was nothing special. The usual powdered scrambled eggs & greasy bacon. Water was in a pitcher in the refrigerator & was not always filled. They were also out of milk the first day we were there. Trash was full in the breakfast area both days we were there. Could use more help in that area. We will either pick a closer hotel within walking distance next time, or pay to park & stay further away. This hotel needs updating & cleaned up.

First, the online pictures look nothing like this hotel in person. We were in town for one night so we figured due to its proximity to Gainbridge Fieldhouse, it would do.
There was a VERY small elevator that we took one time before deciding to take the stairs to our 3rd floor room. Enter at your own risk!
Cleanliness level was not to my standards. When the door handle and security lock are both dirty you question what else is.
All in all, for a La Quinta this place is ok for a quick trip.

This is a much older hotel that may have been resurfaced over the years. Since the resurfacing must have occurred a little while ago, there are some issues with paint peeling, and normal wear and tear. It could use a good scrub of the walls, carpet cleaning, and new caulk to not appear so dirty. Also, a uniform dispenser in the shower looks much better than some bulk bottles in the shower. The dirty bottles added to the feeling of it not being clean.

Check in was easy. 1st room the air wasn't working and a heavy musty smell.
2nd room faucet in the tub dripped constantly.
During breakfast the cleaning staff were congregated in the lobby drinking coffee and talking among themselves. When asked a question most didn't speak any english.

The lower level garage is a leaking- water mess, with garbage cans overflowing. There is a nightmarish flickering light in the parking garage, makes you want to take a bat to it. Tub is stained, shower head has calcification......for $242 go elsewhere as this Quinta has given up on quality

The elector to our room pilates on the 3rd floor was out of order during our whole stay! The door to the room was stuck closed you had to give it a kick to open or close! The faucet in the bathroom was just put in the whole in the marble you had to hold it still to be able to operate it… would not stay again and would not recommend it

BEWARE!! The parking on the lower level was not only sketchy and nasty it had a substance leaking from ceiling. But this morning once we get home the vehicle has milking drip/runs all over it. They will not was off!! The car is only a week old, brand new 2026! Im thinking oxidized water or a watered down paint of some sort. Have to call my dealership to see if my warranty covers this. We did mention the state of the parking area but was just told it was old.

Poorly maintained, shabby looking , and dramatically overpriced by Expedia. The elevator was filthy, there were piles of bedding lying in the hallway for more than one day and the bathroom tub had rust stains.
The continental breakfast buffet was skimpy and inedible. Overall this is a low budget hotel that should be avoided.

The lobby smelled very clean, until we got to our room. There were stains on the floor and smelled like spoiled food. There were stains on the bed sheets also. We weren’t trying to be picky so we let it go. There was also a woman living in the third floor stairwell that had garbage all over and it stunk. The next day we tried to turn the heater on and it smelled of pee when it came on. We then asked to change rooms.

It was the worst. There was loud music outside the window all night, the staff did nothing about it. The toilet was broke, the staff did nothing. When a new room was request they said they could not accommodate, because the manager was not there. We were told we had to”catch the manager because she did not come in at a scheduled time. I left a message for her to call me, she never followed up. When we were preparing to leave the cleaning staff came in took our food, beverages and personal objects that we were packing in the car and said they thought we left. We had not checked out or turned in keys. As a matter of fact we still had a day on our reservation. Very poor quality hotel for such a nice city.

The foul odor in the hallway was really bad. The toilet seat in our bathroom was broken, I went to let the gentleman at the front desk know. He did nothing about it. We had no wash cloths in the room and the shower soap dispenser was all empty. I made 3 trips to the front desk upon check about these issues and nothing was done but quick to take my deposit. I would not recommend this place, especially if you are traveling with kids

Parking was easy with many available spaces. It was a short walk to Gainbridge and I felt safe walking in the area. Elevator was very small and sketchy. I never saw an ice machine for ice.
The “city view” was NOT worth the upcharge, we were on the third floor and we were viewing a bus station. But the room was clean and spacious and we were on the corner so we had double the windows.
Breakfast was not good at all, they ran out of food and coffee 30 minutes after the start of breakfast and it was cold.

Unfortunately for us the property was fully booked and there were damages to our room upon unpacking and settling in late in the evening.
The hotel had been remodeled since my last visit and though the look nice the sliding doors for the Bathrooms are prone to tearing out of the wall. This and loose toilet seat and a Electrical socket that was loose were reported in the morning. A housekeeping request was also completely mixed up. Extra sheets and pillows for an extra traveler were not taken care of. These were asked for because they don't have roll out beds. Michael took our request and he passed this on.

When we got back and found nothing fixed . Finaly we were offered a newly open room by the manager. We still had an issue if we moved because of no linen and pillows. we were un packed and settled In. We really didn't want to move and still not have linen a pillows too. After much prodding We were provided sheets.

The next morning I saw Michael and asked for pillows. He pointed to my note on the computer counter and looked at me as he said...... didn't they get them for you?

I explained that NOTHING had been Fixed and minimal things were done for housekeeping. He apologized and went to work taking care of the housekeeping needs of pillows and linens but did not have staff to do repairs.

We checked out Friday morning, and I thanked him for his help. The front counter wanted to help but I feel that the maintenance and supplies may be lacking.

The room next door was having loud arguments at 3:30 am. I called the front desk, received no answer. Went downstairs and spent 5 minutes trying to get the employees attention. He had headphones on and was scrolling on his phone. He called them and asked them to be quiet. He then called my room and told me to call if they were loud again. They were. I called. He didn't pick up. I went back downstairs and spent another 5 minutes trying to get his attention. Absolutely ridiculous.

General feeling of neglect. Terrible elevator. Toilet seat and faucet both loose. DoorDash trash in halls. Faulty thermostat. Simultaneous maid service with linens on floor up and down the hall and multiple doors propped open with hangers that scratched the paint on every door. Almost got hit by two DoorDash drivers when returning last night. Note: front desk manager was wonderful.

When breakfast opened at 7am, there was only lukewarm coffee available, and not much. I informed the staff, who told me the coffee machine was broken. An hour later there was still no coffee -- the lukewarm was gone and the carafe was turned around. The food, just an hour after breakfast opened, was in rough shape. Staff seemed to have disappeared at this point. The breakfast buffet seating area was also quite cold, although this was down on the list for our concerns. Would not stay here again.

The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and there was black mold in the corners of the tub.
A homeless person made a camp next to my car and we couldn't get in our vehicle.
My daughter and I both work up with splitting headaches and felt like we were going to throw up. We think there was something in the room that made us ill. We slowly our way home felt better with fresh air and time.

It was ok. The room was not as good as most in a downtown area. The sink faucet was sitting free, unsecured from the sink. The water was warm but probably only snot 100 degrees at the most. The furnace made a noise all night. It sounded like a jet engine when it was running. There was no soap for the sink and the body wash was empty in the shower. They have the cheap containers attached to the shower wall, but the body wash was empty.
But, the price was great...

Lots of walkable shops and beautiful architecture!
Everyone I talked to was very friendly and the facility was clean and well maintained.
I had a corner room, which I’ve never had before. Windows wrapped all around the room, so much natural light, it was lovely!

Although the front desk staff was nice, when I asked about other parking, he said there was parking underground. At that time, he could have checked me in, gave us our key (which is needed to get back inside without going outside & around the block). In addition, we needed to get a ticket to put in our car so they know our car should be there. In the meantime, my boyfriend found parking on the main level, luckily, or we would have needed to go back to put the number in our car.

The room was fine, but cups not wrapped in pastic, the tub, had rust spots.

In addition, the hotel is on 2 busy streets, and a heliport, where I heard a helicopter & motorcycles, and I have a hard time sleeping as it is.

In the a.m., by 9:00, they were out of egfs, and the bacin didn’t look cooked. They replenished them both, but at that time, we tried mushy french toast & old bagles. They o.j. was in containers &didn’t taste goid.

I know it is an inexpensive hotel, but all of this was not the best experience.

I did early check in through the link that was texted to me, but then couldn't check in or park when I needed to do so. That process was misleading. It was very loud in the building with slamming doors and footsteps in the hall (not even running or anything, just regular walking was loud). Then it is next door to a medical helicopter pad which was loud and then had ambulances in and out. Wish I had realized that ahead of time. The bus station across the street was convenient for getting around but a little sketchy after dark.

Notified management that the A/C was not operating properly. No response. Asked the front desk for hot water. They said you have a microwave in your room. I said it didn’t work and neither did the coffee maker. Response: “Nice.” No fix. Located about a block or two from a train line that runs ALL NIGHT. Bedspread was dirty upon check-in. They brought us a thin blanket while we were gone and left it on the bed. Fortunately, it wasn’t cold enough in the room to need a heavier bedspread. I could go on, but you could imagine. We will return to Indy for future trips. This hotel will not be an option for our stay.

This hotel is my benchmark for adequate. Bed was comfortable enough, shower worked better than expected. There's just an odd smell in the stairwell. The breakfast was fine, but I don't think I'd have that coffee ever again. The staff was helpful and friendly enough! I had come for GenCon and the location was great; just a 15 minute walk to ICC, but far enough from everything to be quiet at night. Wi-Fi worked great. Also, it's weird that it appears the entryway off the sidewalk is the same space as the entrance to the parking lot. I wouldn't be mad if I ended up here, but I may look for another hotel in the future.

Nice spot for GenCon

Hotel is dated, walk to convention center is straight shot and 10 minutes. Breakfast was limited but decent. Hotel staff is awesome! Price to value 10/10

The biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. The room was fairly cold and I asked the front desk personnel for an extra blanket, they said no. They gave a mediocre explanation but said no nonetheless. Also, the front desk staff did not inform me that housekeeping only comes when requested. I learned that the hard way when the trash and dirty towels were not taking out after a long day of exploring downtown.
