My wife and I walked into the room, took one look around the room and bathroom, and put our bags back into our car to go somewhere else. You get what you pay for, so unless $70 is all you have, go somewhere else or sleep in your car.

This place is rundown, no doubt about it. Tub has stains, walls need a good scrub, and the smoke detector in my room had a plastic bag around it.
With that said, my room was very clean, bed was comfortable with like new sheets and pillows, fully stocked bathroom with towels, soaps and shampoos and above all there were NO BUGS which was my main concern checking into a place like this.
It ain't fancy, but for its price its the epitome of the phrase 'good enough'.

Flights were delayed 5 hours. Didn’t arrive until 3:30am. The gentleman running the facility was great. Called him early and he worked out an after hours check in for me. Spaces are big and clean. Place is newly renovated and in a great location. Was a perfect stay

We checked in woth Tim and were told if there was anything wrong with the room to let him know. The floor was filthy and sticky. Linnens were stained. There was human excretion on the bathroom door. The tub was dirty and damaged. The kitchenette area had food a rodent droppings all over the top of fridge and floor. The Tv had no remote and began to operate on its own and would not shut off. There were people sitting in dark cars in the parking lot. After this we decided this was not an appropriate place to stay. We went to the front desk because the phone didnt work, and told them everything. Tim was very nice at the time and assured me a full refund. Weeks later we only received half the rufund. When we reached out to Tim he changed his tune and say we \"entered the room\" so we had to pay for the night. Just because \"we were too good to stay there\" doesn't mean we get a refund. This is a terrible place maybe try the Bates Motel for a better experience. Thanks for being a liar Tim!

The bathroom was not clean and the sink was leaking. The tub stopped up after 1 shower and the water still hadn’t drained when we checked out. No one could shower. It smelled of bug spray & some sort of paint. I would never stay here again. I wish I could’ve saw it before I booked it! Just driving into the parking lot tell you so much. I do not recommend

The manager/owner person at the front desk was a really nice guy. But that was the only good comment I can say. Room was filthy / old. TV had a red line through the screen, holder for cable was broken. Fire stick for reception, could not access regular TV channels. Vinyl floor broken. Sheets blankets dirty. Bathroom fan broke. Toilet roll bracket gone. Light bulb missing from lamp. Room was hot and no window to open for ventilation. Spiders and some sort of centipede on the floor. Floor not mopped. Old furniture. First night battery was broken and could not get into room, manager had to replace the battery. Hair in bathtub. We slept in our clothes because we didn’t feel comfortable with these conditions. We just got this room on Expedia because of price and proximity to air port and the Indy race track. Would not stay here again. Maybe other rooms there have been updated but ours was horrible.

If you are looking for 5 star service keep looking. If you need a clean room and low drama for a reasonable rate this is the place. My only complaint would be when we checked in I had to buzz someone to the office at 6:30pm and when I checked out at 10:00am I had to buzz someone to the office. Someone should be at the desk during peak hours at a hotel. A miner complaint. Would definitely come back

A Real Bargain
The property is an old style motel along a highway that predates the interstate highway system. It has been refurbished into a comfortable, clean, but basic lodging. The location is excellent with extensive shopping and dining just across the street and the airport is just 10-12 minutes away.

Booked a king bed and received a room with 2 beds that we were told were queen beds but were very small queens. Offered a king room, but we were already in the room and needed to leave to get to the game. Also had to ask for toilet paper as we had none. We got back to our room around Midnight, found the property was very lit up and felt safe. We got in our room and found a hair in the first bed so we both squeezed into the other. There was trash on the bathroom floor, hair on the tp holder (so I didn’t put the tp on it), hot water in shower had to run for several minutes to get hot, but then was good! The next morning my husband moved the main blanket and found a huge wad of hair that was NOT ours. Overall the floors needed to be swept and mopped very well, needed a good dusting, the bathroom needed a good scrubbing too to bottom, and linens need to be washed and checked better before putting on. Bed was comfortable, pillows not great. Definitely not as clean as I thought it would be esp for the price that we paid. Owner was a very nice older gentleman.

It’s your typical motel, nothing too fancy. Easy to get to and nice and quiet….and we had a road that faces the highway. Ignore the negative comments because it’s not that bad. It is dated, but they’re doing renovations. If you’re looking for the Ritz Carlton on a cheap budget, this isn’t the place for you. Our room was cute, the shower worked great, and the bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve slept in. Has a fridge and microwave, which is nice because there’s restaurants all over.
Just ignore the bad reviews….its not that bad a place. Was my toilet paper holder broken….yes…..but I’m not going to complain over something as stupid as that. Like I said, don’t expect the Ritz, but expect a really comfy night’s sleep.

While the gentleman that works at the Front desk is very nice, and hospitable.. I found the room very... Lacking. There was mold under the Bathroom sink, The tub/shower was painted over, and that paint was peeling. The bathroom door had visible dirt on it, as well as the walls. You could see streaks from where they attempted to wipe the walls down. but just didnt get the job done.

Was New in town looking for a decent place? I found this place talk to the vet at the front desk who is more than willing to show me about the place. It’s not brand new but it is clean and when you need something done it’s taken care of. I asked the housekeeper if she could clean the shower curtain and she put a new one in for me that was great.

Convenient and easy as could be. Quick interaction for check in and plenty of towels and such in the room. Only complaint was that there was some hair stuck on and behind the faucet from a previous client's stay where they had shaven over the sink but it was a small oversight. The room was clean otherwise and would gladly stay here again! The large fridge and microwave make it a great place to stick around and visit all the farms and festivals in fall because you can keep fruit and food fresh if you want to keep it cold to take home!

I have to say the room was clean, and had been updated. But during my stay someone attempted to steal my car, and broke the passenger side window with a Lithium battery from a power tool. When the Plainfield police officer arrived and we were talking, he told me they have had a lot of calls to the motel and others in that area, and it was not a good place to stay. Lots of thefts in the area of the motel. I will find another place to stay when I visit Indianapolis in the future.

Hotel is about 20 minutes from the track and in a nice quiet area. It's comfortable, nice, and safe. This is the 4th time staying here. Haven't had any problems and the staff is very friendly. Will stay again.

We entered our room to find the shower curtain rod barely hanging on, paint chips, poor lighting, the bathtub was covered in dry paint. Hair on the lamp shades on the bathroom walls. Went to check out and the staff was non existent. Called the number and woke someone up and told them I needed to check out. Nobody came, called again and just left my card in the mailbox. It was clear the staff was asleep. convenient places nearby, just not the best place to stay.

The front desk staff were very accomodating and helpful. My room was cleaned and ready early. The housekeeping staff brought new towels everyday but didn't do anything else. The medium-sized fridge and microwave were stacked in the closet. Bring your own hangers, coffee pot, and hair dryer. The owners were obviously trying to update things in the rooms. There were people who were weekly or monthly renters. If you wanted ice or to do laundry, those are in the back building.
