The African American woman (front desk person) was very helpful and was extremely polite and hospitable. Being that I was a solo female traveler, She did not announce my floor or room number. She discretely gave me my key. I greatly appreciated that. She was also helpful with giving me directions.
The hotel could use a little upgrade. Although I got a non-smoking room, I could smell cigarette smoke in my room and the hallway.
The hotel is within walking distance from the Inner Harbor and many attractions, but there seems to be a good amount of homeless people in the area.

Not the best location. A bit rundown. Room was fine. The bed was pretty comfortable which was the best thing. The restaurant dinner was not good. The breakfast place food was good. I would not stay again. Stay closer to the Harbour. Much more to do and restaurants to enjoy.

The room was kind of dirty, especially the shower. At dinner I found plastic wrap cooked into my food. The waitress was amazing and took care of us. Close to the Camden Yards field which was nice.

The First evening I tried the hotel restaurant in the lobby. Food served its purpose after flying all day. Wait staff didn’t seem interested in being there- making wait times of acknowledgment, drink, order, check longer than what the experience called for. The restaurant was at 40% capacity with sufficient staff making the waiting frustrating. The bathroom faucet did not run water when using (hot water). No blow dryer. Front desk said they would send one up. Never received during a 4 day trip. Unwrapped disposable cups for general use. No ice bag liner to use in a sanitary manner. Bathroom dingy, old and stained. Shower head placement is for individuals 5’ 6 inches or under. Custodial staff never once came to change out towels, replace toiletries, take out the trash or clean. Check out procedures prompts for tipping of service staff. There needs to be some kind of service to expect a patron to subsidize your employees pay. There was ice water in the lobby available which was a nice gesture to keep guest hydrated.

Very short stay, but the location was extremely convenient, clean, and friendly staff. It was smaller than I expected and my room needed to be renovated. The bathroom tile needed to be replaced & didn't give that clean feeling. Overall it wasn't a bad stay. If I stayed again it would have to be a more renovated room.

The concierge/front desk employees were extremely rude and unhelpful. I got charged for early check in fee and after my stay they refused to give me a receipt. I had to call multiple times and get transferred to accounting department after wasting an hour talking to different employees.

The black, leather sitting chair next to the lamp in our room was very week. I touched it with my hand and it rocked side to side. We didn't bother sitting in it. The shower head was very weak. If you tried to adjust the shower head, the whole neck would rock back and forth. I thought that if I tried and harder it could break. Also, every time we showered, the tub would fill up with the shower water. Something is wrong with the drain. Stains on the curtains. We stayed in room 909.

This was my worst hotel stay, and it's all based on every interaction I had with the front desk for my 4 night stay. They are not friendly, and do not make you feel welcome.
At check-in, the person who greeted me did not smile, did not give me the usual run down of the hotel lay out, where to find my room, or the wifi situation. When I asked for more information, it was a huge inconvenience for her to talk to me. I arrived Friday evening and needed dinner. Thinking I would order room service. When I called the front desk to enquire, again, they could not be bothered talking to me. I was told the hotel doesn't do room service, and that there's a bunch of pizza places around, and that I had to door dash. My room was dark and dingy, and the shower bathtube did not drain. I asked to switch rooms to a higher floor, and better bathroom, and that was a horrible experience, too, for all tbe same attitudes at the front desk. At check- out, again the man kept conversation to a minimum, no instructions, no smile. He disappeared down the other end of the desk and stood there waiting for me to understand that I needed to follow him with my bag. The location of the hotel is in downtown Baltimore, and downtown Balitimore is very run down. Empty retail spaces, and poorly maintained roads and sidewalks, and no decent food options. The whole experience was awful. I am sorry Lord Baltimore, but I do not desire to come back better again.

I had a crazy 13 hour flight delay which was going to get me to Baltimore a day late. When I 1st called the hotel to let them know I would not be arriving on the day I was supposed, but would be in the early morning hours the following day, the person on the phone said I, “needed to contact Expedia so they could let the hotel know or my reservation would be cancelled if not to the hotel on day of reservation”. So I called Expedia, they could not get ahold of the hotel and told me they would email back when they did. I was anxious, so I called the hotel back again, spoke to a different lady and she assured me that my room would be saved. I wish I had gotten that lady’s name to thank her here, but in the moment I forgot to ask. The hotel itself was well located for a ballgame and for the inner harbour touristy stuff.

One star was way too generous! The hotel was super dirty. Staff was not friendly or helpful. The ice machine was in front of our room and that area was filthy. The entire floor smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Our latch lock on the door was broken, we reported it and no one came to fix it, so me, my husband, my teen daughter and my grand daughter didn't feel safe. We checked out the next day and couldn't get a refund even with a valid reason like a broken lock to our room. Expedia reps tried to get in touch with the manager and he remained unreachable. And they didn't offer to give us a different room. They didn't offer a safer room for me and my family. Also, the parking is across the street underground and is $35 daily, or $35 everytime you leave and come back in. The hotel didn't validate for parking. We had to ask about the parking, they didn't provide any details on their site about parking.

Older hotel with some older hotel quirks but my room was clean and bed comfortable. I was grateful they let me check in early I was only going to ask to store my bags. I enjoyed finding out there was a magic show and a ghost tour! Vince was a great story teller and entertainer. I love history and this was a memorable stay at a much more affordable price than other generic hotels on a Friday night.

Everything was good. I was here for a family member in the Maryland University and easy walking distance. The building is old but kept clean. The only thing I will say is the front counter Staff was not the friendliest until I met Mark and he helped me with a difficult situation so I appreciate Mark kudos to him.

Lovely hotel, clean, excellent housekeeping. My only issue was where to find ice machine. The signage on the 7th floor showed 701-714 was ice and vending...however that was someone's room, no ice machine. The following day I asked the young lady at the desk where was the ice machines. She asked me what floor I was on I said I was in 721 she stated there were ice machines on the 7th floor on the side where the high room numbers were..no there were no ice machines...there was a room with no door that was empty but no ice machines. When I went back downstairs.. she informed me that there were ice machines on 7th floor maybe the door was closed...??? and I could go ask for some ice at the lounge. I decided to go to 7-11 and get some ice. I don't know if she was new, if not how do you not know where the ice machines are...

The hotel is VERY DATED and in disrepair. I am lucky my wife was not traveling with me or we would not have stayed. Wallpaper was falling off the walls in the hallway, the tub grout was full of mold, and the furniture was old and in bad shape. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and I slept well.

This was an excellent location if you are attending a concert or event at arena . It was very cute historic hotel and the staff was amazing. There were long lines for check-in however those ladies were quick and efficient . The room was as described and perfect for 1 night stay. My only down fall was they were out of valet parking and I had to park in self parking. With 2 teenage girls and not really knowing the area that was my only dislike. We slept great . Yes like other reviews bathroom was little outdated but location was much more valuable to us. We enjoyed our quick stay and would definitely stay again.

Buildings is old, lobby is pretty but the rooms are old and appear not cared for. Our bathroom was not cleaned well. Elevators are terrible.
We had an issue and the manager on duty was not helpful at all, communication was poor.

Check in process was simple, valet readily available, nice bar area and café, relaxing rooftop, happy hour available (although I missed it), but a great amenity. The room was clean, comfortable bed, walking distance to stadium, 7 minute drive to the casino. I thoroughly enjoyed my staff. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend!

Check in was at 4. We could not check in until after 7 because they had no linens for the beds to properly check you in. So many guests had to wit in the lobby or put find other alternatives. They did at least hold our luggage so we could still make our reservations, but could not freshen up or change.

The hotel was fully booked when I got there and the staff was not prepared. None of the rooms were ready and many people were looking for the luggage and trying to get into their rooms. The staff never apologized for the unconvinced and instead had an attitude with everyone. Though it is beautiful I would not go back and deal with the staff.

The hotel looks historic but we did not expect the amenities to be so extremely dated. The HVAC was not working in one room and had to change the room twice without any success with HVAC. We 4 then had to adjust in one room, which was a major unplanned inconvenience. Lighting too dim, privacy lock was hanging on the door with just one screw. Bathroom had mold. The hotel has a no smoking policy but had the stink throughout. The concierge was helpful but there is only so much that was in their hands.

I was in Baltimore for my graduation from Johns Hopkins, and I booked the hotel because it was on the university's list. My room was dark (window faced stairwell), the bathroom was dingy, and the carpet was sketchy. I never went barefoot on that floor. The temperature outside was over 90 degrees, and the water coolers in the lobby were empty for hours, at least from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. And on the morning of my check-out, housekeeping came at 7:15am while I was getting out of the shower.

I will never stay at the Lord Baltimore again.

Room was clean and spacious. Well appointed furnishings. Bedding, beds, pillos etc all great. Temperature control was good. Bathroom was OK, tiles in the shower could use an upgrade. Valet parking was expensive, however, there are alternatives options in the vicinity (including decent street parking options (for parking over night). Very convenient acces to CFG arena & close to Camden Yards & M&T also.

Overall, it was a good find in Baltimore. Hope to be back sometime.

Reservation for 2 rooms were made as our grandaughter was graduating college. On day of arrival rooms were cancelled without notification. My cc was compromised and bank shut it down. Hotel was overbooked they decided to
Run my payment thru b4 we checked in. Instead of notifying me they cancelled. We had to scramble for 2 rooms further away ftom graduation. The general
Mgr made the decision according to desk people. He needs to be held accountable . Don’t trust your confirmed reservation.

The hotel is absolutely stunning - old world, character, and nice size rooms. Love all of that!
However, there were a number of disappointments:
Outlets didn’t work
House phone didn’t work to order room service
Faucet in bathroom wouldn’t shut off
Ran out of towels because staying there 4 days room got cleaned once
Other than that- nice hotel
Parking charges are RIDICULOUS

The front desk clerk was an angel. I arrived worn out from travel but way early for check-in. She got me an early check-in and it made my first day bearable. Instead of hanging out for hours with my luggage, I got to soak in a hot bath!

Staff were very helpful, the lobby is historic and impressive, and the rooms are spacious. The property also seems tired (including the shower that at first glance didn't look clean but upon further inspection was just really old and walls are often scuffed), elevators are slow, and there was a loud and pretty inconsiderate convention that was being hosted - lots of public intoxication. Staff are in a tough spot with this and no one wants to be a killjoy, but I hope they can consider standards of conduct and how to enforce them - I saw one conference attendee vomit in the lobby and another said something sexually inappropriate to me.
