From the beginning. No valet service. We had to self park. Parking was $98 for the night FYI. Check-in took over an hour. There were at least 30 people in line to check-in and 3 staff members working. Two of the six elevators weren’t working. Got to our room and the fridge was broken. We had four guests on our reservation and they only gave us three bath towels. Our bed linens were dirty with blood stains from a previous guest. I was excited for the Kevin Murphy bath products in the shower, however they were definitely filled with cheap shampoo and conditioners. Breakfast was a joke. The continental breakfast was not $14.95 per person as advertised on Expedia. It was $28.99 per person. The hotel bar could not accommodate the amount of guests. We were sat at a high top with in the bar area that was closed. No one came to give us drinks…ever. It’s pretty bad when the hotel is charging you $30 a plate for breakfast and can’t offer you a water. For the almost $500 a night we paid, I expected more.

Property is conveniently located at the inner harbor and restaurants. Find parking elsewhere /next door. The connected garage is much more expensive. Roughly twice as much.
There was a ridiculously long line of about 15-20 people for a 4 pm check in.
Room is very nice . Long hallways to walk from the elevator.

The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful, and made me feel like I was family. My room was spotless, super comfortable, and the club lounge was very convenient. We have an upcoming conference, everyone involved in the planning was so thorough… I have the utmost confidence it will be a fabulous event!

There were several options for parking that were less expensive than the garage that’s attached to the hotel, however, did you not offer in and out access; you can reserve through SpotHero.

The room and hotel was really nice! Our Bells man Derrick was awesome!!! He was very helpful and very clear on helping us with directions and places we could go!! It is in a great location, the hotel also has small but very convenient (literally) store in the back of the lobby. The parking is $36 a night I believe but it's a 24 hour parking right across from the hotel that's cheaper, but I will say the hotel does not have any thing to do with the parking garage that's connected to the hotel! Overall Great stay, will be staying again.

Through Hotels.com I reserved a king size bed at the Renaisance Hotel in Baltimore, but upon arrival, none were available so I was offered a room with 2 queen beds and an upgrade of a harbor view room. The room did indeed have a beautiful view of the harbor. The bed change was not a problem. Because of that room change, we were given vouchers for two free breakfasts. The breakfast offerings were generous with an omelette station. The room was immaculate and the air conditioning was adjustable and worked well on a very hot day.

okay so my only downside to my hotel stay was that i booked an ACCESSIBLE room and my room ended up being on the 9th floor and a long walk. i had no microwave, i needed a new tv remote, my skin drain ended up bringing up some gunk BUT i washed it out and the problem didn't happen again. lastly, i had to use towels to make sure the water didn't get all over the floor when i took a shower. other than that everything was nice. my room was amazingly spacious!

It was nice to know that I had an underground parking garage that you could book separately and save money instead of paying the fee at the hotel. And they also have elevators directly from the underground parking into the lobby at the hotel, which is most convenient. Staff was nice. Our room was clean. Pool was well maintained. There is no free breakfast, but that’s no problem. We got some kick butt food ordered from DoorDash from a great place called Crazy John’s a couple blocks away. We did this several times during our stay! And last, but at least the location could not have been more perfect. To be able to look out our window over the harbor. And walking distance to anything and everything that you would wanna see when you’re in Baltimore.

Booked a king bed, was upgraded to a suite with a king Murphy bed. Bed collapsed on us, engineering came up to check on it, and they found screws missing. We switched rooms out of concern for our safety and were moved to a room with a double bed. Tried booking a good place near the aquarium for a loved one’s birthday but we’ll be staying somewhere else next time we visit for sure.

The room certainly didn’t have the status of a 4 star rating, carpet was filthy, no daily cleaning of the bathroom and no glasses in the bathroom on our arrival. Finally got clean sheets after being told sheet change it once a week. We were there for 7days. Internet would not work in the room, only outside of the room. Tried to get it fixed , no success. Very unpleasant stay

I’ve stayed here many times and each time the staff is always pleasant, property maintains a high level of cleanliness, bar tenders are knowledgeable of drink orders, and rooms are always spacious and with well designed wall art. It is also a family friendly hotel. Directly across the street from the harbor fun! And a small distance from treatments for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply fast food.

Nice property. I would stay here again. Beaware of the of the parking rules for the garage attached to hotel. Hotel does not include any parking passes. Be sure to pay as soon as you park. They wait and watch and issue $100 parking tickets if you don’t pay via your phone upon parking

The ladies in the reception are amazing, very very helpful, specially Jaqueline. Also de the maids were very friendly and helpful, specially Juana.

We went to the bar, there is not lunch, and the staff at bar were not as friendly as the others, actually they were kind of rude. My wife cocktail had no garnish and it was very simple looking. We were expecting the old school chatty bartender experience, it was not at all like that.

The cleaners finish early so if you like a sleep in, they won’t clean your room. We usually went out in the late afternoon and so the best they could offer was to give us fresh towels and empty the trash. Our sheets and bed were not made the whole 5 nights we were there no matter how many times I asked.

After reading about the financial difficulties the hotel was having, I was apprehensive about staying there after making reservations months earlier. I was more than delightfully surprised. Everything was wonderful. My room had a spectacular view of Inner Harbor, the room was cleaned daily (I stayed a week) and the staff was extremely hospitable. I live in Arkansas but am a Baltimore Orioles fan and visit Baltimore once or twice a year. I have stayed in several hotels in the Inner Harbor area but none better than the Renaissance. The location is excellent since it is at the heart of Inner Harbor and is a 10-minute walk to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

They never find my room. Every time I stay there. I booked 2 beds like I always do and after taking forever to find my reservation, they told me they only had a room with one bed. Whats the point in making a reservation for 2 beds if they dont hold a room with 2 beds. They told me I could get some money back which I said no. I wanted what I reserved. They finally gave me what I reserved.
Before this, we got there earlier in the day and needed to use the restroom bc we traveled a couple hours. They sent me to the café for a key to the bathroom. The café told us they didnt have a key and sent us to someone else. It was annoying. All of it. Ive stayed here at least 10 times and it used to be great. Not so much at all anymore. They dont care about you. At all. Nice location though to everything. Just disappointed in how they treat you now.

My room was very clean and quite unusual, I slept good both nights which almost never happens. Hotel is right on the inner harbor which was convenient for doing tourist activities. I walked home from two Oriole games and felt safe.

The room was so gross. The indoor pool was cold, there were flies floating in the water. The paint from the ceiling was coming off and a lot of it was on the bottom pool. We were beyond bummed. The hot tub was also closed. The room was great, staff were super kind except for one security person. I probably would stay there again if these things were fixed.

This is a well maintained and staffed hotel near the hot spot of activity at Inner Harbor. I stayed 5 days for a festival and was able to walk to and from my destination easily. I used the gym and was able to get a solid workout in. The TV is a bit old and runs slowly, but I never used it anyway.

I would say that while the hotel was a clean and pleasurable stay, it feels slightly overpriced compared to equivalent hotels in the area.

After driving all night, we arrived at the hotel very early. The room wasn't supposed to be ready until four o'clock. After waiting an hour in the lobby; which smelled wonderful, we asked about the room, five minutes to four, we were told we had to wait until four o'clock sharp. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It isn't worth paying extra for the partial bay view, it is so distant that you can't see anything unless you lean right up against the window.

We booked the hotel for a wedding weekend, the staff wouldn't accommodate us checking in a little yearly. The lobby couches were beyond filthy, stained and smelling. The rugs were even worse filthy. I was praying the room rug was clean and it was absolutely disgusting, poop stains and urine stains I wore flip flops I didn't dare put my bare feet in that dirty nasty rug! Our toilet seat was broken and there were no toiletries or enough towels. We had to chase a cleaning lady for towels. We spent so much money for a weekend it was truly upsetting! I will never go back there! The staff was not accommodating and with a nasty attitude about it too! I
Want my money back!
It was that horrible!!!

The room and property was beautiful. The only issue was the restaurant. Service was awful, the food was worse and the prices outrageous
I would advise everyone not to eat there. After seating we were never asked for our drink order. No bread or apps offered. Ordered steak tips rare and they were served Grey colored and well done. My order of seafood over pasta Primavera tasted like water, was served with scampi and when I asked for cheese the waiter had the Mgr come out to verify my request!!?
The steak was sent back and reserved in the same condition. There is no reason to have a high end restaurant if the food is not edible.

The hotel is nice and well located but it is expensive and there is no free breakfast or free parking, no microwave in the room, no free wifi and housekeeping happens whenever or not at all. You can’t use a cart without someone ( who was very nice) having to bring it to your room and take it downstairs for you…. Why?

The property is a huge square. It was 380 steps from the elevator to my room. Very long walk. Elevators were slow. Only 4 for all those rooms and sometimes all 4 didn’t work. Only 2 for the garage which is not owned by the Hotel.

Now the Desk, concierge and parking attendants were most helpful. Maids did a great job all 5 days. TV had too many options but probably good for other guests.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights. It was our first time in Baltimore and we picked the hotel bc it was close to the Aquarium. We didn't use all the amenities since we wanted to explore but this was a good choice. The staff were polite and professional, the room was clean and on Friday night, the hotel even hosted a prom on their 7th floor. The bar, cafe and pool always had a steady flow of guests.

We included breakfast in our hotel package which saved money. We got complimentary vouchers when recieving our room keys. It includes coffee, orange juice and access to the breakfast buffet and omelette station. All worth it, esp the omelettes. The chefs are so nice and take your order to cook right in front of you. We recieved two vouchers in total, one per day for 2 people each.

I'd recommend downloading the Mariott Bonvoy app to create an account for your reservation too. You can check-in and check-out using it, earlier if needed, and also access the wifi for free.

If you need parking, there's a self-parking garage under the hotel. The Gallery Garage entrance is on Calvert St, it's about $35 per day and you pay via QR code as soon as you park. The QR codes are posted along the walls in the garage and near the elevators. It's seamless but pricey. To get to the hotel lobby from the garage, take the purple elevators. There's specific elevators that'll only take you to the garage and then others that take you to the rest of the hotel.

Hotel room is great. It better be, considering what it costs. We ate breakfast in hotel restaurant, and only buffet was available, which cost us $71 for two, and food wasn't hot. It's also ridiculous that an upscale hotel with a garage under it charges guests to park: $76 for two nights. People drive from all over to spend time and money in Baltimore, and get gouged for parking! And the parking garage signs read as if customers are likely to be cheaters: \"Pay within 15 minutes or get booted and pay fines and fees costing $350.\"

We stayed at the hotel before leaving for a cruise out of the Port of Baltimore. The hotel was beautiful, and the location was great. Our only concern was the neighborhood We honestly did not feel safe walking around after dark. We were approached for money many times and there was what appeared to be a gang fight outside of our window in the middle of the night. The hotel did have great security but definitely would not return to that location.
