Outstanding service in a beautifully appointed and immaculately maintained property. Loved the views from the 6th floor dining room. Francesco and Dimitri were standouts as gracious servers at breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most welcoming staff. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are spacious and *extremely* clean. I’m a neat freak and have to say this room and the cleaning ladies did not disappoint with their attention to detail in making sure the room was always clean, towels replaced and everything neatly folded in its place. We travel with a lot of outfit options and the closet space was perfect. There are two full closets with lots of drawers and a ton of space to store your belongings.
The rooftop restaurant where we ate lunch when we arrived, was superb. Pricey, as expected, but outstanding. The same restaurant offers breakfast buffet in the morning and that was wonderful as well. Nice selection of fresh fruits, cheeses and charcuterie, as well as many fresh bakery items, eggs, etc. Don’t even get me started on the service level. Every single person that works for the hotel, was absolutely wonderful and pleasant. Everyone smiles, greets you and treats you like you are the most valuable customer. We travel a lot and love good food and great service, this by far exceeded my expectations! The concierge team was awesome and beyond helpful - I give them 10 starsOh and lastly, I must mention - the rooftop bar was superb for drinks and they serve beautiful hors d’oeuvres and olives/chips to accompany your drinks. The bartender made us the best cucumber martini! Anyways, if you are coming to Rome and want 5-star hotel service, look no further!

The sixth floor restaurant on our final evening was a disaster. The Wine as listed,for which we waited 15 minutes,
come before we were told it was unavailable.We asked if lobster on the menu was available and assured it was. We waited twenty minutes before being told it was not as well as the mushroom dish on the menu.Apart from the starter the rest of the meal was inedible as it lacked presentation and was overcooked.
The dessert was availble on a table and one had to fetch it ourselves,we declined.

Finally we asked for a Macallan whiskey and we were told it had run out of stock.

I asked the staff of the restaurant manager to come but he never arrived and hence I went to reception and spoke to the Hotel management. They then refunded part of the meal and aplogised profusely.

Roma beautiful hotel with spectacular restaurants

Beautiful hotel with amazing details. I would suggest eating at both of their restaurants on the 6 floor. Incredible views and atmosphere from the restaurant.

They have great attention to detail and provide excellent service. The Junior suite is a little small with a nice view if you can upgrade to the Classic Suite I would recommend the upgrade or to stay in a classic room.

I had been tracking tickets to midnight mass for over two weeks and when I arrived no tickets. The conseign was call me in 40 minutes and never did! I returned only to find out he left for the day. I placed my trust the tickets would not be a problem. It was...nice hotel but not sure I would trust their word.

The hotel is beautiful, it’s my second time staying there. The service is fantastic as well. The area is right next to the Spanish steps and I also used the gym which was very good as well. Totally recommend.

This Hotel has been stunningly renovated. What is the best part, however, is the service. The staff couldn't be nicer or do enough for you...from the check-in with Christina Rotunno, to the wonderful concierge staff. All are gracious.
However, what prevents a true full 5 stars is that the rooms are all very oddly configured, many quite small, even in the luxury category, and there is no rooms to store your clothes. Two tiny drawers for a double room. Not nearly large enough for any couple who are traveling for more than a long weekend in Rome. As such, we had to put clothes in the bathroom; store our valises downstairs, and even then we had a hard time finding places for items.
So...if you are on the Grand Tour, with any reasonable amount of clothes...better be sure your room has drawer space.

We were in Rome for a short trip of Thanksgiving. The hotel was fantastic in every dimension, the room was incredibly comfortable, fabulous bed, luxurious linens, well appointed with excellent bathroom and shower, we were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of Rome from a small balcony. The staff had left us a nice bottle of wine for our arrival, and one afternoon stopped by with a small tart (raspberry, cream!). The concierge was able to get us great tables at the osterias we asked about, and recommended an excellent last minute choice for our last night. The location was perfect, a quiet street less than five minutes from the top of Spanish Steps. We've stayed at the Hassler and several other great places in Rome, and the Eden is the best.

Great service at the front door and concierge. Attentive staff during check in but bad service at the Library.
The room was huge and the bathroom was amazing. No view at all as the windows were overlooking the courtyard (and it’s not a beautiful one).
Bottega Veneta amenities and big, fluffy, luxurious towels in the bathroom were a hit!

One of the best hotels in Europe

This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed.
It lives up to its glorious reputation in terms of:
Cleanliness - both room and bathroom were cleaned to perfection throughout our stay
Location - is such that it offers most beautiful views and walking distance to most attractions.
Concierge - As we did not book museum tickets in advance on our arrival we found ourselves not able to visit the most important attractions. But the hotel staff helped us purchase tickets with guides (a format which helps skip the queues).
Airport Transfers - the hotel staff helped us book an executive car to/from the airport
Dinning - The whole range i.e. from healthiest to most indulgent, the hotel restaurants offer absolutely wonderful food in a most professional manner (atmosphere).
Hotel personnel - Always (absolutely at any hours) on their toes and ready to help with all matters.
Gym - Small but very well appointed (e.g. most modern machines, towels, water, fruit, headsets, etc) and at all times absolutely spotless.
Overall a wonderful experience.

MUST Stay Hotel in Rome

Central location, on top of the Spanish steps, tastefully remodeled, luxurious rooms. Wonderful views from rooms and roof top café and bar.
But this hotel is all about the service, from the moment I arrived at the hotel and was met by the doormen to the friendly and efficient check in, the gracious and caring staff to the day I reluctantly had to leave. Every interaction I have had with the staff left me thinking that this is how to gain customer loyalty. Nothing was too much trouble, Every request was handled efficiently and with a smile.
Clefs d'Or concierge team was very good and their recommendations spot on!
The service by Francesco and his team at the café...EXEMPLARY
Helpful, friendly and very attentive.
Breakfast and lunch buffets absolutely worth the price. Fresh healthy and delicious food. And the 180 views...amazing!
I have stayed at the Amans, the Peninsulas,and four seasons and they were al very good but....my heart belongs to Hotel Eden.
My home in Rome!

Great weekend in Rome

I enjoyed a nice weekend at Hotel Eden. It is ideally located in the center of Rome near the Spanish Steps, and my room was really spacious and comfortable. The classic Italian decor was striking, but the hotel still had a variety of modern amenities. The concierge was really helpful with advice for sightseeing, and was knowledgeable about restaurants in the area. Being a six-minute taxi ride from Termini station was a great perk, too, and the subway is also nearby. The sixth floor breakfast venue had amazing views of the city.

Very expensive hotel in the heart of Ancient Rome. Great location but a lot more pricey than what we are used to; restaurant was overpriced for the quality of food but room was wonderful except for lighting system which was very complicated. Would not recommend this hotel for the budget conscious traveler.

Beautiful hotel with thoughtful staff that go out of their way to make your stay exceptional! Rooms are luxurious and quiet with state of the art electronics. The rooftop Michelin Star restaurant was delicious. The only negative would be for the prices charged for the subpar food at the other restaurant that mainly served breakfast/brunch.

Just excellent after a recent renovation

First Class hotel in the \"Dorchester Collection.\" We stayed for two nights upon arriving in Rome and one night a week late before departing. Everyone learns and remembers your name and greets you by it. Very impressive. Room excellent. The view from the top floor restaurant/bar at sunset has to be seen to be believed - a glorious view of the sunset over St Peter's and the Victor Emmanuel monument.

Also - OUTSTANDING breakfast.

Incomparable Luxury in the Heart of Rome

Based on recommendations from friends, my wife and I selected the Eden for a recent trip to Rome to visit family. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The hotel staff was consistently gracious and attentive; the full breakfast spread every morning was first rate; and the room was incredibly comfortable -- with lots of thoughtful amenities. We will surely make the Eden our home away from home the next time through.
