Concert at the Zenith Metropole

We were going to the Zenith Metropole in Nantes and this hotel is ideal being just round the corner from it and by the main bus routes around the city if you want to travel into the centre as we did. Staff were great and the room was very quiet. Hotel was clean and well presented. Would definitely use again if we stay in the area.

Our stay here was one of the best on our trip. The front desk attendant was very accommodating, he gave us a room on the first floor looking out on the parking so we could see our motorcycle, we were able to park right outside the window. He also recommended a restaurant within walking distance and offered us the hotel prix fix menu price.

Excellent Hotel

We travel around Europe extensively and stay in so many hotels, so we know what we're looking for so are as comfort, price etc are concerned. The Inter-Hotel ticked all our boxes and we would not hesitate to return there. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is really good, being close to the main road networks and the largest commercial centre in western Europe. All in all, superb!

OK for a one night stay with dogs

The hotel was easy to find with ample parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a little shabby, but adequate, not a lot of space for the two dogs but it was only for one night. There were great dog walks a short distance away and quite a few good restaurants.

At the back of the hotel was what looked like a dis-used factory and there was a traveller encampment there, which felt a little uncomfortable but caused us no issue.

Functional hotel close to Zenith Metropole.

Stayed here one night to see an act at the Zenith Metropole venue which is close by. Also down the road is the Atlantic shopping center. It's about €20 / 20 mins in a cab from Nantes railway station.

Hotel staff are friendly. It's newly built. Very clean and functional.

Everything you need without paying for services or products you don't need.

Good overnight stop-over

Great location, easy to find from two major roads and 500 m to Atlantis shopping centre with Ikea and fabulous new Leclerc shopping mall -

Busy roads during daytime but soundprooofing in hotel made this no problem and quiet at night. Adequate parking, very helpful pleasant staff. Definitely would recommend and was good competitive price using Hotels.com.

Only slight critisism was that bed was a tad too hard although memory foam but thats a personal niggle no reflection on the very clean smart decor of hotel and rooms which are very bright and new looking.

Restaurant on site which we did'nt use and three or more just 5 mins away of varying prices from KFC to the Oliviers, Leclerc cafeteria and a Beerkeller.

Hotel Balladin Nantes first rate city break

Delightful stay in a well located hotel for central Nantes. The staff advised on the best way to visit the city, complete with tourist map. The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the tram station which was a fast and efficient service straight to the heart of the city. We enjoyed visiting the famous shopping arcades, fashionable squares, chateau and cathedral all within minutes of the tram stops. We highly recommend the hotel for a high standard of service and helpful receptionist staff. The parking area is secure and locked at night and there are a number of good restaurants, bars and entertainments within a few minutes of the hotel for those wanting more than the very adequate bar service provided at the Balladin. We enjoyed a truly relaxing overnight stay with the luxury of so much entertainment being within walking distance, an opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the mediterranean ambience of the cosmopolitan city.

Par contre chasse d'eau qui coule non stop, photo de l'extérieur de l'hôtel pas vrai du tout car en vrai c'est vieux sale et en parti en travaux. En ce qui concerne le petit dej il est plus que moyen, mini croissant et baguette premier prix réchauffé au four , peu de choix , charcuterie mauvaise qualité. La dame de la réception super gentille par contre le veilleur de nuit vraiment on a eu l'impression de le déranger ....

Bon séjour durant ses 3 nuits pour le travail, hôtel calme et propre. Seul petit bémol la nourriture, j'ai pris un cabillaud au beurre que j'ai attendu presque 45 min. Résultat un plat réchauffer en pot que j'ai entendu juste avant au micro-ondes de plus il était très décevant niveau goût. Cependant il a de nombreux restaurants autour. Mise à part ça je recommande si on cherche un pied à terre pour quelques nuits.

Points positif: la propreté, la literie le petit-déjeuner et la gentillesse de l'accueil.

Points négatifs : chambre avec une vingtaine d'insectes à l'intérieur puis changement de chambre mais réellement très petite. Heureusement que je n'avais pas pris la valise . Le bruit des portes qui claquent est également dérangeant d'autant plus qu'on ne peut pas faire autrement.

J’ai séjourné au Sure Hôtel by Best Western à Saint-Herblain et je tiens à exprimer ma profonde déception.
La qualité de la literie était tout simplement indigne d'un hôtel se réclamant d'une telle enseigne : le matelas présentait un affaissement majeur en son centre, rendant toute nuit réparatrice impossible. Dormir dans ces conditions relève du défi et occasionne un réel inconfort physique.
Il est inconcevable qu'un hôtel propose à ses clients des équipements aussi vétustes sans en assurer le remplacement ou l'entretien.
Pour ces raisons, je déconseille vivement cet établissement et invite la direction à revoir sérieusement ses standards de qualité si elle souhaite conserver la confiance de sa clientèle.

Notre séjour a été très agréable, nous avions réservés à la dernière minute car nous avions perdu le bateau pour l’île d’yeu. Rémy, le réceptionniste a été très professionnel et fort sympathique, il nous a conseillé un très bon restaurant Le Mas des Oliviers à quelques pas de l’hôtel que je recommande également.
Silence total dans la nuit, literie très confortable, rapport qualité extrêmement correct.
Nous recommandons vivement cette hôtel.

Arrive il nous ont filé un mouvaise chambre… on ouvre la porte et c’est un chambre en caos total…
On doit descendre… demande à l’accueil pour un autre chambre… et remonte 2 étage… bien sûr sans ascenseur… les chambre sont minuscule…
Le formule 1 en face as des chambre plus gradés.. la porte des toilettes ne ferme pas… le mobilier est voi et cassé… les lit moin de 140… personnelle sympathique comme meme

Dans un « by mercure » on s’attend à bien mieux, surtout au vu des tarifs bien supérieurs à la moyenne de Nantes.
Insonorisation très mauvaise que ce soit venant des couloirs ou de la route extérieure.
Chambre très petite. On se croit dans un hôtel parisien. Je ne m’attendais pas du tout à cela.

Sommeil leger

J'avais demandé une chambre calme a la reservation ayant un sommeil leger. Malgre mon insistance, j'ai eu une chambre cote parking a mon arrivee puisqu'il n'y avait plus de chambre cote cour selon l'hotesse d'accueil. Ca ne me convenaig vraiment pas et finallement j'ai eu apres reclamation und chambre calme. A part cela mon sejour s'est tres bien passé.

Parfait pour une nuitée

Très bon accueil.
Situé non loin d’une zone d’activité, calme, avec ne nombreux places de parking, c’est parfait.
A seulement 10minutes en voiture du centre de Nantes.
Chambre pour 3 environ 15m2, propre.
L’essentiel est là, parfait pour une nuit, sur tout pour le prix de la nuitée.
Un bon restaurant offrant un excellent rapport qualité à 2 pas de l’hôtel, le Companile pour ne pas le cité.

The hotel is not expensive and has a receptionist even late at night. There is a breakfast, which was quite OK, and I was given it for free when I asked as compensation for...

The negative points:
I was given a key to my room, which didn't work, was given a replacement key, which did work, but found a laptop and two phones charging in the room... which was neat and tidy but clearly occupied by another guest! I was then given another room... which had no towels in it. All this involved four separate trips (three of them up and down stairs with luggage) to sort out. The staff were friendly but inefficient, and giving me a key to someone else's room made me feel unsafe, that security was not sufficient.
