We booked this as a stopover to break up a long drive. It was a lovely room and perfect for a relaxing evening and good sleep. I wished I could have spent more time there but will definitely stay there again

A very convenient smart budget hotel. Head and shoulders better than the bigger chains with modern facilities and a very good breakfast. We arrived late into Nantes airport as part of a longer trip and needed a quick overnight spot and this was perfect.

The positives: the hotel is clean. Housekeeping staff are friendly and work hard to keep the place nice. The location is good for shopping in Atlantic mall. The room was quiet.
The negatives: the reception staff are ok but despite being Expedia VIP gold status I could not secure an early check in or late check out as they said they were full. They were certainly not full when I arrived. Check in time is not until 3! I got reminded the night before check out by reception that the hotel was full the next day and at 10am on day of check out there was a knock on the door telling me they need to clean the room and asked if I could leave. Check out time is 12 so I said no and left at 11h30. The hotel is near nothing much other than one large shopping mall. The room is small and the shower had no power. Intermittent hot water. The room lights did not all work and I had to ask reception to check. The bed was so uncomfortable. The breakfast was boring and the same every day. For 12.50 euro it’s better to go eat out. There was no sense of welcome or vibe at this hotel it was like a morgue. There is some take over happening on 1/10 to another brand/management.

When I arrived, greeting was friendly, I was asked if I was by myself - And I asked for a double bed. I was then told I had a twin room (single bed) asked if they had double bed available? Easy to find and a good stop off point for our journey home from Spain. Hotel is very modern, clean and very friendly staff work there. There's no restaurant but within walking distance is an amazing shopping/cinema complex with loads of different eateries. Good secure free parking too. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Very quiet when I was there but the hotel is pleasant and theres plenty of near by places to eat and drink so the quietness is a nice bonus. The staff were excellent and welcoming and my only complaint about the room is I couldn't find the main light switch until the morning but thats entirely my own fault.

perfectly adequate clean accommodation with parking. My main issue is that I paid in full to hotels.com prior to my arrival but the hotel took £88 from my account as a guarantee. Unsure why they needed to do this and then told me it would take two weeks minimum to repay. Not happy!

Awful hotel with terrible customer service. The A/C does not work in the hotel unless every room on a floor has it on. As i was in bed (at 22:30) with it off this led to a hotel worker entering my room to try and turn it on. Unsurprisingly i was not happy. So dont stay here unless you want a random stranger to enter your room in the middle of the night!

We used the road name in the sat nav to locate the hotel, which failed spectacularly and left us on the other side of the river. We then used postcode for other hotels later in the holiday, so this would probably have worked here. The area is rather homogenous, but the hotel is on the tram line and next to the football stadium, so good landmarks.

I liked the presentation of the room and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel was very quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was a pity that breakfast came at an additional charge, and each room really should come with a kettle and the usual complimentary tea and coffee for the price you pay. Other than that, it was really well located, with loads of shops and restaurants nearby, and easy access to the town and freeways. Definitely a good place to stay.

We checked in late after 11pm on route to the south of France. It was easy to find, had secure parking. The room was modern and very clean. The receptionist spoke English. We didn't book a family room but did request a baby cot but this wasn't provided, we had taken our own just in case. There were no drink making facilities in the room, however you were able to purchase water etc from the bar downstairs. We also didn't get a chance to sample the food however we were exceptionally impressed with the hotel for the price. Would def recommend.

Plusieurs séjours dans cette établissement qui a un souci sur la gestion du Check in. En effet, lors d’un précédent séjour (il y a quelques semaines), je suis rentré dans une chambre avec un occupant à l’intérieur. Même mésaventure pour une collègue il y a plusieurs semaines et scénario identique avec un autre client lors de mon dernier séjour. Cela semble donc être fréquent (je l’ai constaté 3 fois) et ne semble pas perturber l’accueil (comment pouvez-vous attribuer 2 fois la même chambre?). Pas rassurant de savoir qu’un inconnu peut rentrer à tout moment dans votre chambre!
Par ailleurs, le pommeau de douche des salles de bain n’est pas digne d’un établissement comme le votre, j’ai l’impression d’être dans un mobilhome et encore (taille réduite, peu de débit d’eau et eau froide lors de mon dernier séjour).
Enfin, au petit déjeuner cuisson des viennoiseries aléatoire (parfois ultra cuite).
J’espère que la Direction prendra connaissance de ce message constructif et mettra en œuvre un plan d’action pour résoudre le problème de double attribution des chambres, le changement des pommeaux et remontera le souci concernant le petit déjeuner car au delà de ça, il s’agit d’un bon établissement (literie de qualité, chambre spacieuse et confortable, espace bar).

On a essayé plusieurs hôtels, au final on c'est arrêté sur celui là, ont bien dormi et bien mangé pour le petit déjeuner, il y a quand même un bémol, la salle de bain avec sa porte transparente, même en coule c'est gênant alors j'imagine pas entre amis... Mais sinon parfait on recommande 😁👍

Je souhaite exprimer ma satisfaction après mon séjour à l'hôtel Akena Nantes Atlantis. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis, ce qui nous a mis tout de suite à l'aise. L'hôtel est très calme. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées, et l'ensemble de l'établissement est très agréable. De plus, l'hôtel bénéficie d'une excellente accessibilité, ce qui est un vrai plus.

J'y ai passé une nuit seul après une très longue route, mais malheureusement il faisait froid dans la chambre. Le thermostat bloqué et forte brise hivernale venant de la fenêtre ont contribué a une mauvaise nuit.

Ich war pünktlich beim Check-in um 15 Uhr. Die Mitarbeiterin musste aber erst durch alle Etagen laufen, um ein fertiges Zimmer zu finden. Auf meiner Etage musste ich mit meinem Koffer über Säcke mit Wäsche, Müllbeutel und Staubsauger steigen, da die Reinigung noch lief.
Das Zimmer war groß und hatte genug Ablagen, war aber nicht mehr ganz frisch. Viele Macken an den Wänden und Fußleisten, dreckige Gardine, das Silikon im Bad war schmutzig. Es gibt nur 1 Steckdose am Bett. Die Dusche hat zu wenig Wasserdruck und die Temperatur änderte sich ständig.
Beim Check-out sollte ich nochmal bezahlen, da die Zahlung angeblich nicht funktioniert hatte. Dabei hat Expedia das Geld schon vor Wochen abgebucht, das Hotel hat mit der Zahlung also nichts zu tun. Leider endete das in einer Diskussion mit der Mitarbeiterin.
Das Frühstück was erstklassig und der Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und kümmerte sich gut um alles.
