The check-in process was not clear until I clicked on the small print link in Expedia. You had to go into the hotel lobby around the corner to check in.
The room door card key was balky and generally took several attempts to open the door.
Maid service was erratic. No one came for two days, then the next day came in the evening. One day they came at 7:30 AM.
Bed bottom sheets were not fitted and came loose easily with movement in the night.

After checking in the lobby inside Real Palace Hotel (had a bunch of mosquitoes at the waiting area), we went to our room on the 12th floor. WOW was the room completely different than what the pictures show.. It was disgusting. There were 2 beds and the sheets had stains all over. We then used the bathroom and turned on the faucet and guess what? Water just went through the sink and right onto the ground. The pipe was that messed up. Cabinets and everything looked old and unclean. Walls were dirty. The bath area does not looks like something that belongs to a building that is 1.5 blocks away from famous Copacabana beach at all. Of course we then had to go back down to the lobby to request for another room and luckily they gave us another room immediately that was in decent shape compared to the first one. Another thing that could be improved is the air conditioning machine is REALLY REALLY LOUD so get ready for that. Secondly, We were on the 14th level and there was no wifi that could reach us so we had to use our local sim card that we bought.
What we liked at this "hotel" is the breakfast. There were a lot of variations mainly consisting of fruits/pastries/breads and just your typical breakfast with different eggs styles. Service overrall is pretty good, they speak english and try to accommodate you.

O quarto ficava em um prédio anexo. Não nos deram chaves e tínhamos que ficar tocando interfone na portaria. O banheiro estava muito sujo, com areia por toda a pia e a cuba. Cama ruim e ar condicionado barulhento. A equipe era atenciosa e faziam o que podiam com o que eles tinham em mãos, pois deu p/ perceber que é uma equipe muito enxuta para o tanto de acomodações. O café da manhã era bom mas o ambiente era absurdamente barulhento.

Quarto bom e espaço, porém o box do banheiro estava um pouco emperrado, e o um dos recepcionista do residencial era um sem educação não dava nem um bom dia, ao contrário dos recepcionistas do hotel que são super educados, e a piscina precisa ser mais bem cuidada, está sempre verde.

Ótimo custo benefício, próximo a praia, mercados, restaurantes e farmácias. Café da manhã compatível com o valor da diária. Porteiro apenas até as 22:00 e não recebemos chave da portaria, então é preciso solicitar na recepção a abertura do portão. Tem que pedir cobertor na recepção pois não tem no quarto. Não tem telefone direto na recepção, caso precise é necessário descer até a recepção. Elevadores funcionam bem. Ar condicionado, tv e frigobar funcionaram bem. Banheiro limpo, com toalhas de banho e de rosto, papel higienico, sabonete, shampoo em quantidade boa, secador de cabelo funcionando bem. Quarto aconchegante, com cama bem macia, mas travesseiros duros. Chuveiro forte e água bem quente, apenas uma noite ficamos sem água quente para o banho, mas em pouco tempo foi solucionado o problema. Cartão da porta funcionou bem, ficamos hospedados em época de baixa temporada. Chegamos duas horas antes do checking e para entrar no quarto foi preciso pagar mais R$ 50,00.

Subíamos até nosso o andar, prédio ao lado, e chegando no quarto não conseguíamos entrar e tínhamos que ir até a recepção. Esse é outro detalhe que não especificam no site, que há um prédio do lado com quartos e que o residencial sausalito não é o mesmo onde fica o restaurante, piscina, academia e etc. Na recepção fomos atendidas com cordialidade, porém é um lugar desorganizado e ninguém conseguiu resolver a situação da porta nos 6 dias que estivemos ali. O quarto também estava cheio de areia pelo box e pelo quarto. Desde o primeiro dia assim que chegamos. Localização e café da manhã bons. Não voltaria a me hospedar.

Foi uma ótima estadia. O café da manhã sem igual, incrível. Ficamos hospedados no Residencial, mas o hotel dá todo suporte de limpeza, podemos usar a área comum e tomamos café no hotel.

Infelizmente esqueci um copo Stanley na recepção, logo que fiz o check in, e ao informar que teria esquecido o copo na recepção, disseram que iriam verificar e não tive resposta. No dia seguinte pedi novamente que olhassem as câmeras de segurança e mais uma vez sem resposta. No dia de ir embora no checkout solicitei mais uma vez e depois de muita insistência, o gerente foi verificar as câmeras e me informou que houve falta de energia e que não havia imagens do referido dia. Em resumo, senti descaso com a falta de interesse em resolver um problema simples, imagino quando um hóspede perde um item de maior valor, como será a atitude.

Foi Péssima, o local para tomar cafe horrivel, todas as mesas juntas , temos que sentar lado a lado em um espaço pequeno, pessoas em pé esperando, cafe sem variedade, tive que descer na recepção pra pedir para limpar o quarto. No quarto não como como se comunicar com o hotel na recepção.

A hospedagem ocorreu de 14 a 17 de dezembro para 3 hospedes. Viajei para participar de evento, então o quarto foi usado para banho e sono. No geral as acomodações foram excelentes. Troca das toalhas foram diárias e a limpeza ok. Com destaque para o Sr. Raimundo, garçom que realizou o serviço de buffet do café da manhã e para o recepcionista Thiago. Parabens pelo profissionalismo, pronto atendimento aos hospedes e simpatia excepcional!

2º andar do Sausalito não é bom.
O hotel é ótimo. Já havia me hospedado nos andares mais acima, onde o andar todo é do hotel. Porém dessa vez me colocaram no 2º andar. Só tem um quarto de hotel e o resto parece ser moradia. O conforto do quarto foi bom. Mas tem janela para uma área muito feia, além de ter cheiro de gordura e comida devido aos vizinhos. E também cheiro de cigarro. No geral, sempre gosto de me hospedar no Sausalito, o atendimento é bom, café da manhã é bom, a localização é boa. Mas dessa vez, a experiência no 2º andar não foi boa. Espero ter uma experiência melhor nas próximas.

No checkin fomos informados que tinha um problema com nosso quarto e fomos alocados em outro hotel na mesma rua, este apesar de ser de uma categoria melhor era velho e superlotado. No dia seguinte tivemos que sair e vir para o Sausalito que ainda não estava pronto, então ficamos no hotel ao qual o sausalito pertence, foi bom porque o café da manhã é nesse predio.
As instalações também são antigas, mas é razoavel e o café da manhã é muito bom. A localização também é boa.

8 Muito bom porém com alguns imprevistos
Foi boa, apesar de alguns imprevistos no quarto 1205 com vazamento no banheiro e a instabilidade da tv a cabo. Após acionarmos a recepção (aliás recepcionista muito solícito ) o problema foi resolvido.
Poderiam melhorar no quesito segurança/ portaria, pois qualquer um pode entrar no prédio desde que fique parado na frente do portão esperando o porteiro abrir.
O café da manhã foi ótimo, havia várias opções porém, o local era muito apertado sem condições de manter distanciamento social.

É um flat, porém atende perfeitamente como um hotel. O único problema foi o ar nao estar funcionando e as tomadas da cabeceira da cama também não (sobre o ar estava chovendo no final de semana e não tive muitos problemas com isso). Café da manhã excelente, funcionários do café de muito bom humor

Fizeram um upgrade e me colocaram no Real Palace Copacabana, acho que não foi uma boa opção. Atendimento dos funcionários muito bom, mas acomodações antigas, roupa de cama e quarto com cheiro desagradável, inclusive só usamos uma diária, e perdemos a que já tínhamos pago. Fomos para outro hotel.
