Your average budget hotel. It was fine for a single night prior to our departure, but we would not stay here again. Low quality bedding, uncomfortable and cheap mattress, flat pillows and poor water pressure in the shower.

Check-in was fast and courteous. The room was spacious, well appointed and very clean. Drinks in the hotel bar were reasonably priced and the service was good. I chose this hotel for its loction close to Atlético de Madrid's Metropolitano Stadium, which was a very easy walk to the game, taking about 20 minutes. Suanzes metro station was around a 10 minute walk away and had me in Gran Via in around 20-25 minutes.

Not a bad hotel in general, I think I was one of the unfortunate ones where I got bit my a bed bug in the hotel. Apparently I was going to get a refund but they denied the refund request. So I would just give out a general warning since it can happen to anybody and it’s not a good feeling to get bit by one.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The building is in excellent condition, everything looks well-maintained and clean. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. The location is perfect — the metro is just a short walk away, making it easy to get to the center of Madrid in minutes. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe, with shops and restaurants nearby. Overall, a great place to stay if you want comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. Highly recommended!

La ubicación es perfecta: el metro está a pocos minutos caminando, lo que facilita llegar al centro de Madrid. La zona es tranquila y segura, con tiendas y restaurantes cerca. The hotel was very modern. AC worked excellent it does have a gym. The food at the restaurant was very good. The staff amazing. Starting with Maria at the front desk always working with a smile. The restaurant and bar staff very nice all were hard workers. Starting with Estefania always super nice and nonstop , then Carlos with the pony tail so good with the food recommendations, Richard extremely efficient and fast. The other Carlos a little rough but always took care of me and very hard worker. Alejandro also a great waiter and server.
Overall I definitely would return in a second.

The cleaning staff was also very friendly.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. Using Uber, you can get to the center in about 20 minutes.

I highly recommend it!

Hotel ILUNION Alcalá Norte was perfect outside the city since I don’t like crowds that much. Publix transportation was very easy to access, buses outside and train within walking distance. The hotel was definitely comfortable and clean as well. For my first time in Madrid, I’m glad I stayed here.

Very nice hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms and very handy for the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium (about 25 minute walk). Reception was efficient and friendly. Had a bar in the main foyer and you can order a range of choices to eat for lunch or dinner. Only criticism was food service (ordering) was a not great. We ended up going to McDonald's up the road (5 mins walk). Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of buffet. Disappointed the bar seemed to close in the evening quite early. We returned from the show we went to see at around 11:30pm and the bar was shut, which was odd for a large Hotel.

The hotel is a bit outdated, the staff is proffessional and friendly. The rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast could also be improved with more healthy options. I was there during the big power outage in Spain and I was surprised that the hotel did not have generators to power the critical infrastructure in the building. I need to praise the staff during that day as they were beyond their duty to help everyone, especially the waiters in the cafe/restaurant who were under a lot of preassure but they did brilliantly.

The property is beautiful in general. It needs to improve its included breakfast by offering a wider variety of items. The A/C in the room (very spacious) was not working properly. The pillows need to be changed to better ones because the ones that were offered do not give the proper head support. Also, the mattresses need to be changed to more comfortable ones. Loved the Ilunion brand shampoo/body soap that was offered. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and prompt when I was checked in to an uncleaned room by mistake. The situation was resolved right away. I like the proximity of the property to the airport which is one of the main reasons I chose it. I would like to see the property improve in the mishaps mentioned above to consider another future stay.

The hotel was excellent value for money, the room was spacious, the bed very large, the air con worked as did the Wi-Fi. The reception was open 24 hours and the restaurant stayed open until 23:00.

The breakfast was very nice and there is also an Irish bar, a couple of restaurants and a supermarket very close by.

The bus stop into town was a few yards away and the Metro was only a 17 minute walk away.

When I go back to Madrid, I will look to stay here again.

The hotel was nice and clean and modern. The staff were nice and helpful.

However the menu of their dinner was so limited to me. Also I feel like for breakfast it is better if the waiter come to the desk and fill up the coffee if requested.

The cleaner always got my cups and clean it and return it to me. I expected to get the new ones not washing them in front of me.

There was no catalogue in the room even specifing how to call the reception.

The handsoap was not provided. when I asked about it they gave me a body lotion saying it does the same thing.

It would be nice if they provided the room with a bottle of mineral water.

The location was pretty close to airport but dont expect to find anything around there not even a nice restaurant to go.

Every single person that worked at the hotel that we spoke with was absolutely wonderful and helpful. The bartender went above and beyond to provide me a little carafe of milk for my daily tea. The check in desk was very helpful on transportation options. The housekeeping staff was top notch on keeping it clean and if they saw us, checking to make sure we'd be out when they got there.

An absolute delight! The ONLY downside being it's not in city center (which I saw as a plus), but that means transportation to get to anything was necessary, it was fairly easy during the week, but spotty on the weekend. But that's not at all the hotels fault.

Hotel definitely met my expectation

Started with a very warm greeting from the reception desk upon arrival. I left a note on my account that I would be arriving early in the morning the day after my check-in date. I was able to check into my room without issue. The room itself was very clean, both the living quaters and the bathroom. The dining room and bar areas were more than sufficient. Hotel was located about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro station.

Lovely quiet stay

We stayed for 2 nights and chose this hotel for convenience of proximity to the airport for our night flight arrival. It was a short taxi journey, and 24 hour check in was available for us. The room was spacious and extremely clean. We had one of the best sleeps! The hotel is close to the Metro which takes less than 20 mins to the centre of Madrid - very accessible and worth it.
