Great customer service, friendly and welcoming staff. Clean room with space and comfortable bed including bathroom. Excellent restaurant inside the hotel. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Walking distance to metro station, supermarket, coffee shop and restaurants. I will definetly come back.

Clean and nice large room! The staff was lovely…and I honestly loved the surrounding area. It was super peaceful with some nice, local restaurants, a really good cafe…supermarkets, etc… And then the metro is only a 5 min walk sonyou can be in bustling Madrid in no time.

The entire hotel including my room was absolutely spotless and very comfortable they have a pillow menu. I mean i am very picky about my pillows ive never had 4 different pillows to choose from! But what stood out the most was the warm and inviting greeting and the outstanding customer service that i received from Karen at the front desk. She was amazing and so knowledgeable and helpful my entire stay. What a wonderful asset to your company. Dont let this one get away! Thank you Karen you made my stay!

After many train transport issues getting to Madrid we were so comfortable at the Maydrit Hotel. Our room was very clean & sparkling, the bed super comfortable. Got a light dinner in hotel restaurant which was very nice, up and on the shuttle which was timely in the AM. We would absolutely stay here again.

Creo que lo puedo calificar como un excelente hotel en Madrid. Solo estuve un día para regresar al aeropuerto pero definitivamente cuando regrese volveré a reservar ahi. El personal de recepción super amable y dedicado a su trabajo. La instalación muy buena, las habitaciones y los baños perfectos, muy limpio todo y bonito. El servicio de transporte al aeropuerto buenísimo , tienen también el metro a solo dos cuadras y el hotel cuenta con restaurante y servicio de cafeteria. En fin excelente todo. La relación precio/ calidad es excelente . Muchas gracias.

I am a bicultural and bilingual English-Spanish speaker. We stayed at the Maydrit the night before returning to our home in the U.S., after visiting friends and family for the holidays.
I had reserved a room with a king sized bed since that's what we have at home. The receptionist who checked us in said that unfortunately we'd have a room with two twin beds because the hotel was full and there were no rooms with king beds available. I didn't answer, just looked him straight in the eye. Then he said that he might be able to get us a king suite, but that since it was an upgrade, we'd have to pay more. So, let's see: I reserve a room with a king sized bed two months in advance, he tells me that he doesn't have one, then upgrades us, (because it's clearly their mistake), but charges us for the upgrade? What's wrong with that picture, señores? We said ok because we didn't want to argue. However, I did say that I had reserved a room with a king sized bed, as if to say, I don't expect nor want anything more or less, just what I reserved. Then, magically, he said that we would'nt have to pay anything extra because he had found what we booked - a room with a king sized bed. He must have sensed my disapproval.
So, what was all of that about? Pocketing a supplement for himself, perhaps?
Don't know. But this check-in experience together with the fact that the Maydrit is in a residential area with only one dining option outside of the hotel, means that we won't be staying there again.

Overall, I am grateful for the stay and for the airport shuttle. However, I was genuinely surprised by how thin the blanket was - closer to a sheet than a proper blanket. Considering it was mid-winter and around 0°C outside, this felt inadequate. I was exhausted and only had a few hours to sleep before my flight, so I didn’t contact the front desk or adjust the thermostat, prioritizing rest and quiet instead. As a result, the room felt uncomfortably cold. Even in summer, I typically use a thicker blanket, so this was quite unexpected.

It was our last day in Spain and we we wanted a hotel that had a shuttle service to the airport and a breakfast - it had both. The breakfast was good and varied. The shuttle service was great! The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean. The decor was modern. My only complaint was that the room was cold and the heating system did not really heat the room - although it was a very cold night.

Stayed at the Maydrit because it’s close to MAD airport for an early morning flight. Heads-up: the first airport shuttle doesn’t leave until 6:00 AM, so if you need to depart earlier, you’ll have to take a taxi (flat rate ~28 EUR).

Check-in was on the slow side—if there’s a line, expect to wait. Staff ranged from very friendly to somewhat indifferent, so overall service felt a bit inconsistent.

On the positive side, the location is great for getting into the city. The walk to Metro Line 5 is quick and easy, and it takes you straight into central Madrid without hassle.

We had a great stay at Hotel Maydrit. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were great. What really stood out is the quality of the staff. From the reception desk to the restaurant, it was the best we received on our trip to Spain! Everyone was incredibly helpful and it made the entire process very easy. The metro is very close by so you can easily hop into the city to explore but also escape the crowds, and be close to the airport. Overall, it was a great place and we would recommend it to anyone.

Overall good hotel , old wooden beams and smell of rustic wood is not everyone’s favourite. Rooms are good size and bathrooms are good size . There are few restaurants around the hotel and Chinese takeaway with supermarket opposite. Metro is 2 mins walk and takes you to central in 20-25 mins .

This is a solid business hotel with plenty of space, a punctual shuttle, a very clean room that included a much-appreciated coffee maker and toiletries. To me, the giant memory foam bed was not as comfortable as anticipated but the rest was great, especially the access to public transportation.

Note that it is located in a safe but bland residential neighborhood. Those looking for a little more Spanish flavor should consider staying downtown or the center of the neighboring Barajas district.

The hotel was very cute, the staff very pleasant, the breakfast was wonderful with lots of healthy options.
They also provided luggage storage for us.
The less good:
Why are the pillows so big? I use a big pillow at home but these were gigantic. Four pillows provided all of them gigantic.
Although the place was clean there was some mold in the bathroom and shower.
