The NH Madrid Barajas Airport, formerly known as NH Barajas, is a modern hotel set in a tranquil location close to the lovely 18th century Capricho Park. Guests can take the metro from the nearby El Capricho station to the city center of Madrid and enjoy sights such as the Royal Palace and the Plaza Mayor which are only a few minutes away.

The trade fair center IFEMA is only a 10-minute walk, and the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium is only 20 minutes away on public transport. All of our 173 bright guest rooms offer contemporary comforts such as free Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning.

The spacious rooms can accommodate an extra bed as needed. In the mornings, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet complete with sweet and savory options.

Made-to-order hot dishes and an early bird breakfast are also available upon request. The NH Barajas Restaurant is our quiet yet inviting in-house dining establishment serving Spanish cuisine for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday.

Our Bar serves a great selection of light refreshments in a light and airy ambiance. We offer an airport shuttle service operating between the hours of 6am and 12:30am every day.

The staff were wonderful, traveling solo. This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. I feel safe here and will continue to stay here when I make that long international flight and have my destination flight the next day.

Great Airport Hotel, convenient complimentary shuttle, nice modern well kept and clean rooms (not very big but they are ok), surpermarkets, restaurants and metro station line 5 nearby (within 3 blocks max) and very kind staff.

I highly recommend thos hotel for short o transit stay at Madrid.

Room was good, clean, fairly comfortable, although the pillows we're quite cheap feeling. Reasonably priced, but the airport shuttle is not great. When checking in I asked if it ran once an hour as I'd read, to be told it runs \"every 45 minutes\". The friendly lady asked be what time I wanted to be at the airport, and then suggested the 9:45am bus which would put me there too early, so I suggested I'd take the 1030 one. No, she said, it leaves at 11! I'm not sure if 45 Spanish minutes equal 75 US minutes, but at that point an Uber was the better option for me, so my choice to pick this hotel over others without a shuttle turned out to be moot. No big deal, just a little weird. All in all, a solid choice, not fancy, but relatively modern and nice and quiet. Uber came in 3 minutes and only took 10 to Terminal 2. Front desk spoke decent English and was very welcoming. Would have been 5 stars with a usable shuttle system.

It was a great choice, all you need for a transfer when traveling and even a longer stay. Very close from the Barajas airport, punctual timing of the bus shuttle, clean, modern and very helpful staff. Particularly I Remeber the Mr Alfonso at the check in desk, extremely helpful, kind and provided quick solution to requests. Highly recommend this hotel :)

Just wanted to warn you about this hotel—by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, there was no AC. I talked to the concierge, and they said the AC had been down for the entire week. How does the AC stay down for a whole week? Instead of relaxing on my vacation, I’m heading home with body pain from that terrible bed. Definitely think twice before booking here.

I was very disappointed at the beginning because my main priority when booking was the shuttle bus, as I had a long layover after a long flight. Unfortunately, there was no shuttle bus as promised, the staff simply told me it had left 10 minutes ago and that was it. No assistance with getting to the hotel, and it’s not mentioned anywhere that the shuttle bus only operates until midnight. I had to pay $29 for a taxi.

Aside from this, the hotel itself was good for an overnight stay. The breakfast was nice, and there’s a beautiful park just a 10-minute walk away, I highly recommend visiting it.

The property appears to be situated in a precarious location, and my experience at the hotel was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I noticed that the hotel had a rundown appearance, with visible construction work underway. This gave the place an overall feeling of neglect and disarray.

Once in my room, I was greeted by a strong unpleasant odor that only diminished after I turned on the air conditioning. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired; both the walls and the bathroom were visibly dirty, which added to my discomfort during my stay.

Originally, I requested a room with two beds, but the staff informed me that only a single-bed room was available, despite my reservation. This lack of consideration for my request was disappointing and added to my frustration.

Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. It does not measure up to the standards I have come to expect from other NH Properties. For a more enjoyable stay, I suggest looking for other accommodations and avoiding this establishment.

We only stayed one night to make it convenient to get to the airport the next morning. Only 10 minutes away from the airport. However, we were charged 47.25 EURO to get to the hotel from the train station. We thought that was a little expensive. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Asked about a bar to meet up with friends and we were told (on house phone) there was none- turned out when we went downstairs to ge the cab to meet friends elsewhere there was a bar tucked away behind the check in desk (unmanned). We had to move rooms as the one we were first given had no working AC - the maintenance guy was there in a flash but couldn't fix so we moved on eroom down (no biggie but still.. not a great experience. Overall I would say this is a very average hotel and with so many to choose around the airport - we won't be returning to this one. Front desk personnel very friendly and as helpful as they could be given the facility issues. What airport hotel has no bar for business folks to meet up in or friends to spend time outside their rooms....

It took 30 minutes to connect with the shuttle to the hotel and check-in was Handled efficiently given the crush of 15 guests trying to get keys to their rooms. We stayed in the annex adjacent to the restaurant and check-in area on the third floor, which was calm and quiet and work well rested for our flight out to the Canary Islands the rooms are smallish, but adequate for our needs as a transition point and would recommend it for that purpose. Staff was lovely.

short 4 day stay staff was great from room cleanliness to waitress and all of those at reception who made our stay very friendly and comfortable. everyone was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. we enjoyed ourselves. breakfast buffet was great, fresh and lots of variety. close to airport, and subway to go anywhere you want. quiet and convenient. great airport shuttle but having to call to get picked up was inconvenient without a phone plan to make calls

Thus is the third time I have stayed in property. Do to external condition Berlin Airport strike I had to change and make other arragments to get to Berlin. Due to this I had to book a flight early 7AM. And had to leave around 4AM. I ask the front desk if it was possible to get fruit basket and some pastries since were not going to be able to take the breakfast (that we paid). She mention that they don't provide that service. But is no the issue that they didn't provided it. The issue is that when she saw me leave the area she assume nowone front my group was there and one of them listen to the comments she made about us asking for.the brekafas5 bag. She made a few disrespectful comments. So I just to point out that we were asking was something we already paid and that weren't asking for much. Sad this happens.

Would be better if the shuttle service was more frequent. Got an Uber when we arrived, rather than wait 45 minutes for a pick up (€17) and booked the shuttle for the next morning back to the airport, which was great and on time.
