Beautiful surrounding area with a duck pond! The hotel was nice and clean, and the room was comfortable. Our bus line was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and there was no shuttle option, but the affordable cost of the hotel made it worth it. We opted not to do the breakfast option because of the cost, and instead went to a local bakery.

Hotel was very clean throughout. Some of the furniture showed signs of wear. Mattress was very firm, too firm for us causing poor sleep. Disappointed by the lack of kettle/coffee/tea making facilties in the room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and easily switched to English when my German failed me Didn't eat at the hotel as thought breakfast was expensive for continental buffet style.

Overall this is a great hotel to stay in convenient to my family locally and easy access to bergedorf and hamburg. The staff as always fantastic. Special mention to Yvonne on weekends. 2 negatives whoever. The first is having no fridge in the room, i am sorry guys simply not good enough for a 4 star hotel. The 2nd no air conditioning in the current hot conditions in europe made for a very uncomfortable sleep.

The room was cozy, the wifi was spotty at best as was the noise level. No a/c left us with an open window. Between the bugs visiting us throughout the night and the noise from the groups of people walking and smoking right below our window sleep was a bit spotty too. Beautiful hotel with so much potential.

For business travelers the location lets it down a bit but other than that, it's a really nice and cozy place to stay. Room was clean and quiet and I loved the bathroom design. Booked a double bed and got two singles but since I was on my own on business anyway I didn't see it as a big deal. Overall I would recommend.

Stayed for one night, check in was nice and quick and we were in our room within 10 minutes. Nice and quiet neighbourhood . We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. There was plenty of choice for breakfast in the morning.

It is highly recommended! Helpful staff, nice rooms with a natural serene environment. Location is a slightly far from the city but if you do have a car then it's pretty easy with ample parking space. The Wifi and Lack of aircon was a let down but overall an amazing experience.

A clean and comfortable place to stay on the outskirts of Hamburg. Location didn´t matter to us because we were just passing through, but if you wanted to visit Hamburg, it might be a little out of the way. The staff was friendly and spoke English very well. The breakfast was the best we had during our 14 day trip through Europe. Very good food from the restaurant too. Will definitely stay here again when we are passing through Hamburg.

Great Stay! The hotel is well worth the 15min walk from the train station. The staff is great and most of then speak English. They were supper friendly and very helpful. The food at the hotel is GREAT! Make sure to eat breakfast there - you dont want to miss it. Dinners are great and the service is ery good. The hotel rooms are small by American standards and it is a twin bed, but that is pretty typical of Europe and why stay in the room for more than sleep? The bus ride to the train station is about 4min and the stop is right out front. Also, there is a good trail head right around the corner from the hotel and is perfect for a trail run, biking and a nice walk after dinner. I really recommend this hotel!

The staff were all very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We had a sick baby with us, thus ordered a room service for dinner which worked very well. Good WIFI access in the room. In terms of location, it worked just fine for us as we were only staying a night on our way to somewhere else (the hotel is located very close to a highway), but not for sightseeing in Hamburg.

In one word FANTASTIC Great staff, attentive, great german food. Restaurant staff best at what it does. Friendly, not overbearing always wanting to ensure us if we needed anything. Everyone from front desk to restaurant staff to cleaning staff could not have been nicer. We would stay there again no questions asked. No words can explain the nice stay we had, and we were there for 8 days. Small hotel made the experience feel like a bed and breakfast hotel. Not a cookie cutter name style hotel.

Hotellet havde sådan en lidt gammeldags stil, hvilket jeg fandt mega flot, tingene stod så pænt og alting var rigtig flot, personalet var super søde og hjælpsomme og når jeg engang skal tilbage til Hamborg så vil jeg helt sikkert vælge det her hotel igen!

Das Hotel ist gut, was es sehr gut macht sind die Mitarbeiter. Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Am Frühstückstisch wird man sehr freundlich begrüßt mit einem kleinen Smalltalk, was mir jeden Tag ein lächeln auf das Gesicht gezaubert hat. So kommt man gerne wieder.

Ich komme privat 1-2x im Jahr in den Alt Lohbrügger Hof und fühle mich jedes Mal wie zu Hause.
Große und ruhige Zimmer mit stilvoller Ausstattung und schönem Bad. Dazu eine schöne Lounge für Gespräche mit mit einem Getränk.

Ein super Hotel. Zimmer top! Frühstücksbuffet absolut top! Endlich mal wieder ein richtiges Buffet mit Qualität, nicht dieser ganze Molet One und Moxy rotz.

Arrivati in hotel alle ore 23, reception senza problemi. Ho dovuto fare un paio di giri per il parcheggio perché la trentina di posti auto di cui dispone l’hotel erano occupati. Camera e parti comuni sono curate nella pulizia. Camera e bagno spaziosi. Il WIFI è ok, l’aria condizionata manca ma c’è una grande finestra con una zanzariera che non fa passare insetti, ottimo, così si dorme bene d’estate. Materassi eccezionali, la zona è silenziosa, la finestra affacciava su un fiume. Non ho fatto la colazione, ma sono passato nella sala e ho visto che c’era varietà di cibi.
