Big room, kitchenette & balcony - avoid parking.

Very nice, spacious room w/ kitchenette and balcony (with table and chairs outside also!), we were at the top floor so there was a view - the local area isn't the best, but there is a frequent bus service from outside the property to the central area of the city; the nearest Metro stop is about 1km away.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the Wi-Fi connection was decent and the room was clean and tidy; we didn't avail of the offered breakfast so I cannot comment on that.

Parking is available at the property for 8,5€ per night, but there is free on-street parking available nearby, so it may be worth searching for that; we parked 100m away so it was no hardship for us.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay, the room was great, the area was only so-so, we avoided the on-site parking but would recommend the place to stay at.

Lovely hotel interior

Had an economy room which was perfectly adequate and had a small kitchen with sink, microwave, kettle and fridge (no icebox, but on lowest setting our pack of ham slices froze!). The restaurant serves very enjoyable meals at very reasonable prices. The hotel lobby area is very pleasant with plenty of comfortable seating, lots of tourist leaflets, a computer with printer, a shoe cleaning machine and lovely scented toilets with background birdsong music.

Location a bit away from everything, but bus stop just outside hotel. Our apartment was opposite an attractive public building with a clock which chimed a Frere Jacques tune on the hour. At 9am a trumpeter stood at a window in a glass dome at the top right hand side of the building overlooking the ornate nautically themed roundabout and played two tunes. It was lovely!

Zero speed internet

The room was okay, but a 0.05mb internet connection speed is not 'internet'. During the evening I couldn't even connect! During the early morning (2am) I got to 3.3mb, but not until then. I complained and went to another hotel the following day. Overall, the hotel was sort of a sad disappointment. It seems that the hotel has faded a bit from the online pictures. The lobby was still nice, and the room was adequate and clean, but the outside of the hotel seemed sort of dirty and unkept. No views of anything outside and nothing to do nearby either. Honestly... for the price, sharing a slow internet connection across the whole hotel seems cheap! Would never stay again unless they fix that!

A very comfortable stay with easy access to the city by the 112 bus. The location is isolated there is a small shop in the next street across from the bus stop but not much else. We enjoyed having access to the kitchenette. The bathroom and bedroom were reasonably spacious.

Comfortable hotel, but a little outside central ar

Nice for a few days stay, but off the beaten path in an unattractive industrial area. However, 10 min walk to subway and 4 stops to central station.
Had a kitchenette, but they charge 4 Euro/day if you use dishes!! Hot pot and cups, but no coffee or tea supplied.
Nice linens, comfortable beds, noisy floor above.

Nice hotel, but in a light industrial area.

Externally, the hotel is looking in need of a spruce up - it's not the worst ever, but would be transformed if the rendering and balcony panels were given a lick of paint and a clean.
Inside, it's all very pleasant, air-conditioned reception, working lifts, friendly English speaking receptionist. Room was clean and tidy. Small kitchenette and en-suite, clean and functioning. The bedroom has chair, table and stool, and a seat outside on the balcony, although smoker next door spoilt the balcony a little.
Things to be aware of. The area is light industrial. Opposite a noisy container depot. Passing traffic was very loud too. However, the double glazing is excellent. With the window and door shut it was near silent.
The bed was comfy, but the huge inviting pillow was virtually flat when resting on!
The kitchenette has a microwave and dual hob. The hob was quite slow to warm up, and whilst there was a frying pan, saucepan, knives and chopping board, there was no microwave friendly pot - so no microwaved scrambled eggs! Thoughtfully, there was a small washing up liquid bottle and cleaning cloths - typically these are things you need to buy (and leave) yourself.
Finally, it's quite a way from the town centre. The 112 bus runs right outside though, but I made the 800m walk to the Hammer Kirsch underground, as it was more direct to city centre.
If I was going back, I would possibly look for something more central, but wouldn't have a problem returning to this Hotel.

Good Apartement Hotel

The room was reasonably spacious, with a kitchenette, and a reasonably nice bathroom. Like most hotels in Germany, unfortunately it's not air-conditioned. It's easily accesible from the Hamburg City Hauptbahnhof. The Wifi is again, a little slow on our first day, but then it improved around midnight, and reasonably fast.

Great value apartment/hotel

Ourapartment was well appointed with a small kitchen and was quite spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a bus stop just around the corner - also a supermarket. It was great to be able to park our hire car for 5 euro a day.

All the hotel you need for a few days in Hamburg.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is set in a commercial/semi industrial area of Hamburg and is ideal as a base for seeing the city and Christmas Markets. To get there couldn't be easier, just take the 112 bus from outside the main railway station and get off at Schadersweg. The hotel is a few yards back down the road. It's not much to look at from the outside but has all you need for a few days in the city. Staff couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are comfortable and warm and also very quiet. Breakfast is typical of a German hotel.

Somewhat out of the way hotel

Compared to prices of other hotels closer in to town, this was a good value. There is a public bus route which runs to the hotel, but the frequency wasn't terrific. The room was quite nice, though I noticed that the exterior south-facing façade of the building looked worn out. The receptionist was very helpful, but at times overworked.

Big rooms & great service but far away from center

front desk and bistro personnel are very friendly and helpful; room service does an excellent job; diversity of choices at breakfast buffet is unsurpassed anywhere, including in 5 star hotels; but immediate neighborhood does not offer much in way of dining out, theaters, etc so you have to wait on the public bus to ride for 30 minutes to center of city; towels in bath are very thin and scratchy like in a youth hostel and sliding entry door to shower is very narrow

Nice hotel with easy access to public transport

The day we arrived the woman at reception was unbelievably rude. This was completely made up for by the manager Isak. He was amazing. He helped us so much and even leant us a phone charger. This hotel is exceptionally clean and I would def. stay here again.

Adequate but nothing special. The room was a decent size, the beds relatively comfortable and the room included a table and chairs. There is a kitchette in the room, but an extra daily charge if you want to use it. Desk staff was professional and spoke good English. No restaurants or shopping in this commercial neighborhood, but a bus stop was a two minute walk away. Spent another few days at the Suite Novotel in Hamburg which was a much nicer room and conveniently located to several restaurants, a Ubahn station and shopping and offered at a similar price per night.

Nice hotel. Not so great location.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were most helpful. The only thing lacking really was location. The area was more business and not really walking friendly. There were two small restaurants several blocks away but neither was exceptional and the menu at the restaurant on site was limited to drinks and pizza.

I booked the hotel because it was one of the last remaining ones that did not cost over 100 euros a night. My room had a slight smoky smell but otherwise it was fine. The location was expected to be a bit outside, but it's only a quick bus ride into the city center. If you need to buy food/drinks, then there is only a gas station. There is a Chinese restaurant and a Pizza place not too far in case you want somewhere to eat. The BEST part about the hotel was that they allowed me to check out at 1pm, which was great considering I had a big night until 7am from the night before.

Cheap Valentine's Getaway

Easy links to city centre

Due to my girlfriend staying relatively near to Hamburg we decided to have a Valentine's getaway on a budget. The hotel is not in a bad area, I would say students and the retired live there, but it's not the greatest area either. There is a bus right outside the hotel (the 112) that leaves every 15 minutes (30 on a Sunday) and takes 20-25 minutes to get to Hamburg HBF. Note that only one stop at HBF has the 112 and is not the easiest to find - the Schadesweg stop is the hotel's stop. Our room had a kitchenette but nothing really that can be used other than the kettle unless you have the utensils yourself. We only used the microwave as there's two small grocery markets on the same street where you get on/off the bus where you can buy microwavable foods and plastic cutlery (only spoons with kettle supplied). The hotel restaurant only sell Pizza, which for someone who doesn't like (me) or cannot each cheese it's not that great. There is a couple of restaurants in walking distance, including a steakhouse across the road that was being refurbished during our stay, and of course loads within the city centre. Staff were friendly, room was very clean and €2 for a bus into the city centre is very good. I wasn't overly impressed by the city itself but if there's something you want to see in Hamburg this hotel is an excellent choice due to its price and transport links.

Good for the price..

Location could have been better but there is a train service near by that runs all night so dont be put off by that. From the outside the hotel looks ugly & run down but inside its nice, clean & modern. Our room was well sized & very comfortable & came with a fridge & microwave. It is a bargain hotel & deserves to be considered when planning your trip.

Located Out in the industrial/public housing area so not a great location, has secure underground parking so that is a plus. Room was very small and old. Internet didn't work in the room so had to go sit in the reception area. A big plus is the Greek restaurant up the road, sensational food.

Comfort, space and great staff

This was the most comfortable well appointed room of our long trip; pleasant decor, plenty of room, armchairs and table, mini kitchen etc. We were welcomed at reception with a message from a friend, and later had helpful advice on buses into the city; were able to leave our luggage for later collection. There is a short flight of steps and no ramp from the street to the entrance. Yes, it is a few kilometres out of town, with no street charm or nearby amenities other than the bus stop; but other guests seemed to have their own happy community in the lounge areas. A pity we had only one night and no time to enjoy all the hotel had to offer.

From the outside the hotel looks dowdy. However, very comfortable but basic inside. Breakfast was excellant but cost 10euros. The utensils in the kitchenette were chargable which was a rip off.
Although the location was 20 min bus ride from the centre of Hamburg, the bus stop was outside hotel. Compared to cost of hotels in the city, it was value for money.

Great value hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable. Location a bit out of town but metro only a ten minute walk away or even better 112 bus stop is directly outside the hotel runs into town every twenty minutes or so. Breakfast was lovely and worth the 10.9 euros.

Nice rooms but very isolated

The hotel is a decent modern building, rooms are comfortable and well furnished, service is pleasant BUT the claim that the Hotel is in Hamburg Mitte is very misleading as it is located on an Industrial Estate about 3 km from the City Centre, and linked to only by a bus route. There are no facilities nearby.
Furthermore the Apart-Hotel element is only partially delivered. yes there is a fridge, sink and microwave but it ends there and there is no cutlery, crockery or anything to cook with.

If you know what you are getting then the hotel will suit some but for others it could be a poor choice and I think the operators should be more honest as to how they market the place.

Great, but not for the normal tourist

We stayed at this place because most Hamburg hotels were booked out due to events, with prices 2-3 times normal. Even this apt/hotel was expensive for what it offered, but at least it was very clean and well-run.

Most of the other guests seemed to be travelling salespeople or similar, rather than tourists or corporate business people. Not that we cared. We didn't need the kitchen area included in the room, but it would be useful for a longer stay in Hamburg.

It took a lot of research to work out how to get there by train or bus, but once we worked that out, the actual journey was neither long nor difficult. It might not appeal to tourists wanting the atmosphere in Hamburg, particularly at night, as most of the surrounding area consists of factories and warehouses.

The actual hotel was very efficient, clean, friendly and helpful.

Actually this 3 star hotel were better than some other 4 stars in Hamburg. Free internet is very convenient, not like in many other where you have to pay from 10 to 15 Euros per day. Parking is not free, but there is plenty free street parking around the hotel area. Breakfast is not free either but there is a fridge you can keep your own drinks and snacks cool. Location is industrial but not that noisy as somewhere in the city, so you can open your windows without damaging your ears. Clean room, friendly staff. I will definitively will stay there again if in Hamburg

Very comfortable and affordable stay

I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this hotel. I was a little worried about staying outside of the main town centre, but it only cost Euro1.85 to get in to town, and the bus ran very regularly until at least 8 pm. My room was on the 7th floor. I had a comfortable bed, with a great view of the city of Hamburg from my windows/veranda. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was worth the extra Euro10.50. It was great having a mini kitchen in my room, and the hotel staff were happy to provide the equipment I needed for my stay.

I spent most of the day in the city, where there was much to do, and ate dinner while I was out, making the hotel location not a problem for people who need to use public transport. This hotel proved to be a very affordable option for staying in Hamburg.

I especially enjoyed the free 'English' speaking walking tour that leaves everyday at 11 am outside of the Rathaus - they even suggested we catch Ferry 62 which gave us a wonderful tour of the Hamburg harbour - and is free if you purchase the Hamburg card - others charge Euro15 for much the same thing.

The hotel is located in an industrial neighborhood just outside the main city center, but close to transportation. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were relatively large for Europe. Each room has a small kitchenette, but the closest grocery store is about four blocks away.

Don't take the metro-the stop is far from the hotel, and the direction confusing. Neighbourhood's industrial and deserted, and hard to ask for direction. But the bus stop is right across from the hotel, and takes 10-15 minutes to train station.Once you get the hang of taking the bus and tram(get a day card), the hotel's great. Staff very friendly, even though they made 2 mistakes initially-1)thought only 1 guest's checking in, 2)gave us a room without a kitchenette. As soon as the mistakes' pointed out, they were corrected promptly. Kitchenette came with pots, pans, dishes, silverware and dish cloth...The room was more like a small apartmnet. Very spacious.

The hotel is located about a 10 minute bus ride from the historic town center. Its has a small kitchenette, but you would have to rent dishes, knives & forks pots and pans to do any cooking. The breakfast is extra cost but it is sumptuous and very good for the price. The windows and balcony doors would need to be closed to keep out the road noise, though it did not bother us. in the summer months, that could a bit hot. The apartment is comfortable and spacious and there is cable TV in quite a few languages.

The hotel was located right off the 112 bus line, which is very handy for the central train station and touristic parts of Hamburg. It was very hot in Hamburg, and although the hotel doesn't offer AC (like most places in Germany), they did provide us with a fan upon request. Our stay was nice and the rooms were clean.

I was satisfied with the location and the service of the hotel. The internet connection was very good. A taxi to the airport costs around 40 euro and to the main train station around 15 euro. Bank and restaurants are in walk distances from the hotel.

Very low cost, very clean, fairly close to a station. Not much around the neighborhood to do, but easy to walk a couple blocks to a very few Restaraunts, but also an ALDI food store - Yeah! The staff was very, very, helpful. It is not a classy, fancy, nice place. But it sure is low cost, very clean, and decent area.

Die Dame an der Rezeption war nicht sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind extrem hellhörig, sowohl was den permanenten Straßenlärm angeht, als auch der Lärm von den Gästen, die über einem wohnen und beide Nächte bis ca. 2 Uhr morgens ununterbrochen über den Boden gelaufen, gesprungen usw. sind. Wir haben beide Nächte trotz Ohrstöpsel kaum schlafen können.

객실이 관리가 잘 되어 있었습니다. 시내중심가에서 조금 벗어나 있기는 했지만 버스 이용해서 20분정도면 이동 가능했어요.
가족이 묶었는데 좋았어요.

가방을 버스에 두고 내렸는데 직원 분이 엄청 친절하게 안내해주셔서 잘 찾았습니다.

함부르크에 오면 다시 묶고 싶은 호텔입니다.

The hotel is located in an industrial area, which can be quite noisy early in the morning, but public transport stops are very close by.
It was fine for one night. The room was quite spacious, unlike the shower cabin, which was rather small.
The ventilation in the room felt a bit strange - in the morning there was a strong smell of fried food. The soundproofing was also not very good. Additionally, the reception staff came across as somewhat rude.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr nett.
Praktisch war in unserem Dreibett Zimmer die kleine Küchenzeile mit Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher. Das Bad war etwas klein, aber wenn man sich arrangiert, geht es.
Die Verkehrsanbindung war super. 2 verschiedene Bushaltestellen waren in der Nähe. So hat man die Möglichkeit, Mobil zu bleiben. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein Backshop sind ebenfalls in der Nähe.
Wir waren recht zufrieden.

P.S. : Danke an den netten Herren vom Störtebecker Haus gegenüber, der jeden Morgen pünktlich um 9 Uhr ein Ständchen auf der Trompete spielte. Das war toll. 😄

Ich habe in der Parkgarage geparkt und musste beim Heimkommen feststellen, dass ich eine Beschädigung am Fahrzeug hatte. Nach einem kurzen Telefonat mit dem Hotel, wurde mir versprochen, man kümmert sich um den Vorfall. Leider habe ich hierzu nie wieder etwas gehört.

Det var denne gang et nyrenoveret værelse vi havde. Meget lækkert. Desværre er den nye seng meget hård i forhold til dem vi kender . Puderne var umulige og sove med. Kæmpe store og meget hårde. Ellers var alt rigtigt fint. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage. Deres morgenmad er helt fantastisk 🙂

Gutes Hotel -Tiefgarage der Graus

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Frühstück ist sehr gut. Das einzige Manko ist die Tiefgarage zum Parken. Die Parkplätze sind so klein, dass man mit einem SUV große Probleme hat. Die Ein- und Ausfahrt geht ohne Kanera gar nicht.

Dejligt hotel med store rene værelser

Flot hotel med store flotte, rene værelser. Dejlig seng, stort badeværelse og stor privat altan på værelserne hvor man må ryge.

Der er køkken med alt hvad man skal bruge og en sofa, bord, stol og lille spisebord.

Området er ikke særlig interessant, men bus 112 holder lige ude foran døren og kører direkte ind til byen hvert 10. Minut. Virkelig nemt.

Parkering mod betaling var rigtig fint og nemt. Dejligt med privat parkering. 10€ pr nat.

Hyggelig reception med sødt personale. Fin restaurant hvor man feks kan se fodbold og få en drink.

Føltes trygt og rart at være der.

Die Lage war nicht wie beschrieben und eher außerhalb. Der Preis des Frühstücks hat nicht der Qualität entsprochen! Die Auswahl war und Qualität waren für meine Bedürfnisse absolut unangemessen. Frühstück für Menschen, die Wert auf gesundes Essen legen, absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Es war sauber und weitestgehend ruhig. Negativ sind die unterbrocheneen Stuhlschiebegeräusche bis spät in die Nacht hinein gewesen.

Hotel og service kan vi ikke klage over. Der var meget pænt og rent. Persobalet hjælpsomme og nemt at gå til.
Det eneste der fejlede noget er interriøret.
Det er ret outdated, men fejler som sådan ikke noget.
Super fint til et besøg i Hamborg. Ca 20€ for en taxa ind til rådhuset(centrum)

Skulle bruge en seng at sove i, vi var på juleferie og dette hotel var billigt og lå ok. Der er ca 15 minutters gang til Ubahn som kørte lige ind til Neuer Wall, helt perfekt.
Mulighed for at lave morgenmad selv eller man kan tilkøbe sig morgenmad. Der er et lille thekøkken.

Es war riesig das Zimmer und sehr viel Luxus die Einrichtung mit Küche hat mir extrem gut gefallen genug großes Bett gehabt. Von Preis fand ich es mega furchtbar weil ist viel zu teuer gewesen die Übernachtung.
