Very nice hotel

I had a very nice stay. Hotel is not big, rather boutique type. Room was very clean, decent size, with a nice view (of much bigger hotels nearby ;) ). Location is great - very close to metro station and close to shops/restaurants.

Decent place but I’ve never had to check in for my hotel at a different hotel few blocks away . We had parked and had all our luggage and had to our everything back in the car because the hotel was locked and had to find the other hotel to check in . Strange . Hotel inside was ok . Bed wasn’t that clean

Generally,it was a nice location. However, except for the contact staff and one other male receptionist we met on the day we checked in, all the others staff needs to go for training on customer relationships and service delivery. Furthermore, I what attracted me to book the reservation was the advertised 'buffet breakfast'. Previous users of the facility had positive remarks.Eventually, it was never to be .Rather it was a tea snacks table! Comparatively, the charges are high in relation to the service provided. I would come again on the condition that the rates are commensurate with the service provided.

Would no recommend it

In general a very modern bedroom. However, the TV wasn't working, the curtains fell off, very bright and loud room, the area is extremely shady, especially at night. The sink is in the shower so if you shower in the morning and get dressed you will get wet feet if you want to use the sink properly.

at night there is no receptionist and you have to get your key at a hotel 3 blocks away. At night the building should be locked for safety but it was not while I was staying, which made me feel unsafe. The neighborhood is not nice and at night you don't want to walk in the area. During the day there is a receptionist, not very friendly. The hairdryer and electrical sockets in the shower didn't feel safe either. All in all I would not recommend this hotel. There are certainly better choices in Hamburg. Sorry.

Hotel is great and new. It’s 10 min walking from central station, and during night time seems a bit strange and unsafe, like any other central area of big city. However, I was with my husband and everything was fine. Breakfast with great variety!

I stayed here for a solo work trip, so I didn't spend much time in the hotel outside of the evenings. The room was of a decent size with a comfortable bed The desk staff were friendly. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as I did not have time in the mornings before work.

Generally, I took the stairs but there is an elevator in the building. However, because there's only one, leaving in the morning with luggage can be relatively slow if other guests or the housekeeping staff are using it. That said, I'd still stay here again.

It was good for the price, rooms are very small but for us it was just what we needed, an inexpensive place to sleep. Breakfast in morning was wonderful, staff was nice. Parking is only issue we had, it was on street parking so not always easy to get a spot.

Boutique hotel in rough area near station

Small modern rooms with comfy bed and nice bathroom. Very small though only a foot either side of the bed. Good restaurants nearby (paschen-schorr wirtshaus v good) and close to station. Breakfast ok - worth doing but overall not cheap and definitely down-beat area. Bus service v good in Hamburg so I’d suggest a bit further out if it’s cheaper or on a bus route.

Surprisingly quiet

We were welcomed by the night manager as we arrived at 11.30pm and he spoke perfect English and informed us on the area for restaurants nearby and gave us a local map as well as breakfast eating times. The room was bright, modern, clean. The breakfast would suit all tastes as there was 4 varieties of cereal, 2 different fruit salads, 3 different cheeses, 4 cold meats, scrambled and boiled eggs, honey and 4 different jams, butter, bread, 9 different teas, instant coffee, milk, hot water for hot drinks, two different joghurts.

Modern hotel close to the the station, just 5 minutes walk. We tried to walk from the hotel to the Central Station, it took us under 20 minutes. For what I've observed it's better to take the subway than walking. There are areas where safety is a concern, apart from that we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.

Modern hotel near main railway station in Hamburg

The hotel is located centrally near both a U-bahn station (Lohmuhlerstrasse) and Hamburg's main railway station. It's also just 3 blocks away from the Lange Reihe street where you can find some great restaurants. Finding parking around the hotel is a real challenge though. Luckily we were able to park underneath the hotel (only 3 spots available!). We were welcomed by a very friendly lady at reception who took the time to explain Hamburg's layout on a map. The hotel itself feels new and modern. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The WiFi is fast and reliable. We loved the buffet breakfast which was simple but delicious.

Modern basic hotel in relatively good location.

Small hotel situated within 5 mins walk of local cafes, restaurants and a few bars. All worthy of a visit. Train/subway 3 mins away ( U Line ). Walking distance to central train station and beautiful Alster Lake. Nearby, some streets appeared Dodgy! Local drunks and ladies of the night hanging around.
Hotel rooms were basic, Beds were hard and uncomfortable. No air con so in summer windows need to be left open which in turn leads to noise from the residential streets. No security box in room or access to a safe at reception so bear this in mind if you have valuables. Hotel is next door to a Volvo garage which generates some noise throughout midweek nights. Continental Breakfast was very good indeed with selection of lovely bread, meats, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fruit.

Convenient hotel close to city centre

The hotel was very close to the city centre and also within walking distance of the Alster lake. The reception staff were always polite and helpful and the breakfast staff very very efficient at topping things up when they ran out. The room was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Great value hotel close to main station and centre

We booked this hotel for one night only before our return flight. It is a great little hotel and very good value, the check in was very friendly and efficient - they even arranged our transport to the airport and served breakfast from 6.30am which was good if you're on an early flight home. We had a top floor room with balcony and no extra charge for the blackbird dawn chorus which was fabulous! The room was compact but spotlessly clean with a lovely comfortable bed and cosy warm on a chilly April night. It was 10 minutes walk from the main station/15 minutes from the centre and in a multicultural area with some fabulous eating places/coffee shops and a Lidl store just around the corner for all your wine an essentials! It was really safe at all times as we have stayed in this area before and although some may feel a little wary all the locals just go about their business and there is no problem for visitors. There were no complaints at all during our stay and I would recommend this hotel if you're on a budget for a short stay in Hamburg.

Pleasant hotel in heart of Hamburg

Hotel is clean and reasonably priced compared to other central Hamburg hotels. Rooms are somewhat small. In walking distance of most downtown attractions. Situated in St Georg district, a residential Muslim neighborhood which I found safe and well lighted. On street parking is difficult; hotel has no parking facilities. If you find a space to park on the street, stay there for your stay...don't move. Walk or use public transport. Breakfast is very good with adequate choices. For my weekend stay, this boutique hotel of 24 rooms is very adequate.

NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED.

OMG. We arrived at Hamburg Railway Station - the concourse was full of men of middle eastern description. Very intimidating as I'd booked the hotel due to its close proximity to the station. We walked to the hotel and came across Hamza Square again full of men loitering - my wife felt uncomfortable. We arrived at the hotel and we both looked at each other - not what I would call boutique. The staff on reception were friendly enough. The room wasn't really what we expected. We decided to go for a walk as my wife said she didn't want to stay there and didn't feel safe. We walked down a road parallel to the road we came down. This time it was full of sex shops and prostitutes in doorways. My wife contacted friends in Rendsburg and we decided we'd go and stay with them. The area round the rathouse was full of police vehicles and then a full blow demonstation kicked off - it was going from bad to worse. We visited the railway station and got rail tickets to Rendsburg. Then back to the hotel for our suitcases. The hotel was prepaid so it was our loss.

Reasonably close to main train station, very close to nearest underground station, area used to be dodgy, but seems to have improved in recent years, hotel seems freshly renovated, room very clean, decor is modern, room is no-frills, but perfectly adequate, mattresses a bit thin, road outside quiet, so able to sleep with window open, breakfast decent.

We had a nice stay but the room was small and they did not have the extra bed that we booked. It was an uncomfortable sofa that turned into a bed.
The Breakfast was the highlight of the hotel which was served every morning on the lobby.
The Neighborhood is quite nice with plenty of places to eat around.

Nice little hotel well located but...

Nice little hotel, good breakfast, and great location close to everything. However, the hotel description in the hotels.com website is inaccurate and this leads to frustration and annoyance. I travel with my grown-up son so we always request rooms with two beds. This is the FIRST thing I look at when booking a hotel. I booked the room under the premise that it had two twin beds. It came out that the hotel description is wrong.
I asked for an extra bed or even a mattress but was only offered a triple room just for one night with an additional payment of 30 euros which I declined. The front desk lady was not helpful and said I should have booked the hotel through their website and not through hotels.com since they are not responsible for the wrong information provided.
The hotel description also states that room service is offered which is not the case. Rooms are nicely decorated but if you like to sleep in a relatively dark room, this hotel is not your best choice. The rooms have large windows and the black out curtains do not really black out. The room does not worth $150.00. The level of comfort is similar to a Ibis Hotel for which you would pay $80.
If you are a solo traveler or if you share a double bed and can tolerate lots of light coming in at dawn, the hotel is an acceptable option if you cannot find anything better for half of the price.
I won´t come back to this hotel. My son had to sleep on the floor which made our stay miserable.

AWESOME hotel

There were mixed reviews about this hotel. I was traveling for business so I wanted to make sure that I was near the S and U bahn and I wanted to stay someplace nice. Overall the hotel was in perfect shape. It's new and it still feels new. I was quite amazed that the place looked so great. I rented the double bed room and was blown away by the size and decor of it. The internet was blazing fast, the TV is standard german channels, same everywhere, but flat screen. The closet was clean and nice. The bathroom was amazing! Shower was clean, the water didn't go all over the floor like some hotels. The bed was my only complaint. It wasn't great, nor was it horrible. I had three down comforters that I piled up and then I sleep like a baby. The room was client and clean! The breakfast was nice. Lots to eat, opens early and stayed open late. Everyone who worked there was nice, friendly and happy. I didn't have a problem with anyone.

Area- The area is fine. It's a totally mixed area, close to the big train station. Lots of food choices in the area. The closet S Bahn is around the corner, a 75 second walk. So close and so east to see the sights all to return to a peaceful room.

I highly recommend this hotel! Of all the hotels I have stayed in all of Europe in this price range, this is by far on my top 3 list.

Zimmer sieht zwar aus wie auf den Bildern ist aber schon sehr stark abgenutzt viele Schrammen und der allgemeine Eindruck war jetzt nicht so gut sowie vorher einen Stellplatz reserviert für die Tiefgarage und gefragt ob man das Auto schon vor der eigentlichen eincheck Zeit abstellen könnte was angeblich möglich wäre wenn der Platz schon frei ist Vorort hieß es dann das es erst beim eigentlichen einchecken gehen würde trotz das er frei war das kam durch den Parkplatz Mangel am Hotel sehr negativ da man jetzt doch mit dem Auto in die Stadt statt mit der Bahn musste und quasi doppelt bezahlt hat das fanden mein Frau und ich sehr schade da man ja auch für den Platz auch extra zahlt der allgemeine Eindruck des Zimmers war wie schon erwähnt sehr angegriffen Wasser in der Dusche bleibt stehen an den Dichtung der Fenster sieht es auch sehr rosig aus wobei man sagen muss das preis Leistung inordnung sind wenn die gewissen Mängel mit den Dichtung und der Dusche nicht wären da die Dusche gegen über vom Waschtisch ist und man da es nicht richtig weg fließt da zu wenig Gefälle in der Dusche verbaut wurde immer wenn man sich fertig machen will wieder im nassen bzw in einer Pfütze steht.

Stylish no frills hotel with comfortable rooms.

Very nice and stylish rooms, with plenty of space and very nice bath rooms.
If all you need is a comfortable room, it's a perfect place. Anyone who knows hamburg knows that the hotel, like many other hotels is situated in a rather colorful neighbourhood, but it's at least situated on the quiet end of a rather raunchy street. We'd be happy to stay there again.

Fin og billig hotel

Værelser er rene med gode seng. Beliggenheden er god med mulighed for at parkere gratis foran, hvis man er heldig at få en plads. Det vi savner er et lille køleskab til koldt vand og en safeboks til vores vigtige ting. Fjernsynsskærmet må gerne være lidt større. Et lille minus er at dørene smækker meget hårdt.

Dejligt stort og rent værelse til absolut rimelige penge. Dette skyldtes nok mest beliggenheden, da det ligger ca. 40 min. fra havneområdet. Dette var vi dog bevidste om ved booking. Hotellet ligger i et område, som primært er af anden etnisk herkomst. Derudover kan der på nogle steder mod centrum opleves typer af lidt mere suspekt karakter samt hjemløse.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser TV ging nicht und am nächsten Tag haben wir ein anderes Gerät erhalten.
Die Dusche ist etwas schlecht konstruiert. Das Wasser läuft schlecht ab. Daher wurde eine 15 cm hohe Scheibe als Trennung angebracht. Ist gefährlich da man leicht stolpern kann. Neben dem Bett war kein Platz, man musste vom Fußende aus einsteigen. Für Gäste mit körperlichen Beschweden könnte das ein Problem darstellen.
Ansonsten ist die Lage in der Nähe der Außenalster jedoch wirklich super und für den Preis ist die Unterkunft auch in Ordnung!
Es gab gratis Wasser und ein kleines Frühstück auf die Hand umsonst (bei der Buchung war eigentlich kein Frühstück dabei).
Im Großen und Ganzen hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen.

Die Lage ist super, in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man U-Bahn, Supermarkt und Restaurants.
Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Die Begrüßung war freundlich jedoch kurz und knapp.
Bei der Abreise sind die Reinigungskräfte leider ohne zu klopfen ins Zimmer gekommen (zum Check Out hatten wir noch zeit). Obwohl die Reinigungskräfte uns in der Tür direkt gegenüber standen wurde sich nicht entschuldigt.
Der Check-Out war kühl und kurz - wir wurden auch nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war / der Aufenthalt angnehm war.
Zur Parkplatzsituation: die Tiefgarage ist klein - nur 3 Parkplätze, wir hatten mit einem Kombi Schwierigkeiten den Parkplatz überhaupt zu erreichen. Eineb Parkplatz an der Straße zu bekommen: aussichtslos!
Alles in allem: für eine Nacht und den Preis in Ordnung, allerdings mit Luft nach oben.

Saubere ruhige Unterkunft in Hbf Nähe

Neues Haus. Zimmer und Bad sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet.
Rezeption bis 22 Uhr besetzt, danach öffnet man die Tür mit einem Zahlencode.
Pro Stockwerk meistens vier Zimmet, zwei links und zwei rechts vom Fahrstuhl, jeweils hinter einer Zwischentür pro zwei Zimmer.
Türen sind sehr laut wenn der Nachbar die Tür einfach ins Schloss fallen lässt.
Wasser zur Begrüßung war auf dem Zimmer.
Ruhige Seitenstraße. Morgens stehen Tee und Kaffee, sowie ein Fruchtsaftgetrank auf einem Tisch bei der Rezeption frei zur Verfügung. Daneben noch Äpfel und chocolate crossions.
Für zwei drei Tage zu empfehlen, Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß.
Hbf zu Fuss in 10min zu erreichen.
U-Bahn Haltestelle U1 Lohmühle Str in 1 min zu Fuß zuerreichen (1 Station bis Hbf)

Unser Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, die Vorhänge hatten mehrere Flecken sowie die Heizung im Bad.
Vor der eigentlichen Hotelzimmertür befindet sich nochmal eine Tür, die so laut zuknallt, dass man morgens davon geweckt wird. Jedoch war das Zimmer günstig, das Personal nett und das Hotel ist sehr Zentral gelegen.

Le quartier n'est pas sécuritaire, j'ai fait la demande auprès de la personne à la réception et elle ma dit que je ne devais pas entrer trop tard max 9 pm. C'est au beau milieu du quartier gaie, ce que je ne savais pas, et ensuite un quartier de prostitution. Par contre très près de la gare de train et facile d'accès.

Fräscht och prisvärt

Bra standard, fräscht och hyfsat rymligt rum. Prisvärt! Ligger på gångavstånd från Hamburgs centralstation och fler trevliga restauranger. Litet minus att inte all personal kunde engelska på den nivån som kan önskas av en hotellreception.

Dejlig weekend i Hamborg

Dejligt område, vi boede på 3 Pers værelset, vores datter på 11 år sov på en udslået seng. Alle senge havde gode madrasser, til den hårde side, men vi sov dejligt.
Vær opmærksom på at morgenmaden er to go; kaffe,the eller brikjuice og en croissant med nutella i.
Personalet var neget hjælpsomt og venligt.

Boutique hotel zonder ontbijt(ruimte).

Sinds kort geen ontbijt(ruimte) meer. Slechts koffie + broodje to go. Wel incl. ontbijt geboekt.
Verder prima kamer (incl douche/toilet). Jammer dat gordijnen niet verduisteren.

Was ist ein Studio?

Es wird vorgekaukelt, es handle sich um eine Ferienwohnung. Die Zimmerpreise schwanken extrem. Für mich absoluter Betrug!

Die Mitarbeiter waren bis auf den Chef des Hauses sehr hilfsbereit. Wie gesagt, Hotelmanager von Ortskenntnis, oder mal ein Ratschlag wo man schwimmen gehen kann... Gast ist König >>> absolute Fehlanzeige <<< !!!

Wie gesagt ... der Hotelmanager geht einfach mal gar nicht! Kontakt zu den Gästen - 10, Freundlichkeit -10, Hilfsbereitschaft - 10 .... ein absolutes NO GO mit diesem Mann.‘

Hoffentlich kommt das bei der Geschäftsleitung an und man ändert etwas an diesem untragbaren Zustand!!!

Das Hotel an sich ist süß und gut gelegen.
Zimmer sind sauber.
Matratzen leider so bzw. zu dünn, das man das Lattenrost komplett durch fühlt.

18cm Matratzen wären eine gute Lösung!!!

Das Boutique 072 Hamburg St. Georg liegt sehr zentral, in 2 Gehminuten ist man an der nächsten Ubahn-Station. Ohne Umsteigen mitten ins Zentrum. Die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet. In der Dusche war eine Fließe locker unter die dann ständig das Wasser lief und einen unangenehmen Geruch verursachte, wenn man drauf trat. Was ein bisschen schade ist, das man im Hotel nicht frühstücken kann. Man geht ca. 5 - 8 Minuten in das Partnerhotel, was aber nicht nachteilig ist. Das Frühstück dort ist lecker und für jeden ist etwas dabei.

Die Wände sind papierdünn, das Bad hat eine böse Stolperfalle und die Fliesen in der Dusche sind so lose, dass beim Betreten das darunter gelaufene Wasser aus den Fugen spritzt. Die Gardinen/Vorhänge haben so viele Flecken, dass die letzte Wäsche vermutlich Jahre zurückliegt. Und dass das Frühstück nicht im Hotel, sondern in einem einige hundert Meter weiter liegenden Partnerhotel einzunehmen ist, finde ih schon komich, wenn auf der Homepage das eigene Frühstück ausgelobt wird.

Das Zimmer war extrem schmutzig; vor allem die Gardinen waren sehr dreckig. Auch der Boden war sehr unrein. Der Boden in der Dusche war kaputt, wodurch die Duft von Bakterien sehr anwesend war. Es hat Stark nach Schimmel gerochen.

The hotel is ok situated in St Georg and is clean.
It is a noisy concrete building with bad service: our room wasn’t ready, we were initially denied a 3-person room although we ordered and prepaid it, housecleaning burst in without knocking in the middle of the afternoon - it was 4 pm and the room wasn’t made before that.
Plus you couldn’t even get a greeting from staff.

Personal und Zimmer waren gut. Die Matratzen sind wohl nicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt gedacht. Nach 2 Nächten Rückenschmerzen ohne Ende.
Eine Zumutung waren die Feuerschutztüren, die nach jedem
Durchgang durch das ganze Hotel knallten. Unverschämt.

Die zimmer sind zweckmässig, es wird im hotel kein frühstück angeboten, man kann in ein 5 min entferntes partnerhotel zum frühstücken am bahnhof gehen was ich recht unsinning finde, keine parkmöglichkeit.in der umgebung eher arabisch stämmige bäcker/geschäfte

Facile da raggiungere tramite trasporto pubblico e ben collegato, data la vicinanza con la fermata della U4 Lohmühlenstraße e la stazione Berliner Tor, che porta direttamente in aeroporto. La zona non è il massimo, ma è molto vicino a Lange Reihe, dove ci sono negozi, bar, locali e ristoranti. La camera non è molto spaziosa, ma ordinata e pulita. Il bagno è un po' scomodo. Manca una sala comune/punto di aggregazione. Probabilmente per i serivizi che offre (la reception chiude alle 22.00, non c'è possibilità di mangiare o bere in albergo) è un po' sovrapprezzo.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war klein aber fein, alles da, was man braucht. Sehr sauber, netter Empfang, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage des Hotels war für mich ausgesprochen günstig, Da das Klinikum St. Georg gleich um die Ecke ist. Auch die Außenalster ist nicht weit, U Bahn in der Nähe und fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof/ZOB und zur Mönckebergstrasse. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren vor drei Jahren schon einmal in diesem Hotel, damals hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Deshalb haben wir noch einmal dort gebucht. Allerdings wird seit diesem Jahr kein Frühstück mehr angeboten, sodass wir morgens zu einem anderen Hotel geschickt wurden (wir hatten Frühstück mitgebracht). Dies war etwas ärgerlich, da uns dies erst am nächsten Tag mitgeteilt wurde.

Nachts sollte man bis zur Lohmühlenstr mit der U Bahn fahren und die letzten paar Meter laufen.Oder Taxi benutzen.

Das Zimmer war erst nach 13:00 Uhr gemacht

Innen oke-aussen oh weh

Recht zentral gelegenes kleines Hotel, aber in einem sehr zwielichtigen Quartier. Die Zimmer klein, aber zum Schlafen ganz okay. Das Frühstück mal dürftig-mal in Ordnung...aber so oder so nicht sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal (täglich anderes) war bemüht..
