Great apartment. Exactly as advertised. Apartment was spotless and our room was serviced which we werent expecting. Very close to the Hbf which was awesome. Good location to explore Hamburg.

Hotel is awesome and cleaning staff was top notch. Rooms were nice and front desk staff was super helpful. The area is a little shady with lots of homeless and drug addicts nearby. Didn’t feel unsafe for me but you are definitely reminded that you are 200m from the central train station. Their underground parking was excellent and safe for my rental car.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt! Das Hotel ist wunderschön, sauber und ein Traum drinnen zu schlafen!
Das Hotel ist perfekt und das Personal super! Einzig negativ ist die Gegend um das Hotel. Da kommt man sich vor wie in einem afrikanischen/orientalischen Ghetto.
Ich würde dennoch immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank!

I'm staying in this hotel every time I visit Hamburg, very friendly staff.
But unfortunately the good Hotel is let down by the area around the property (some streets around it feel unsafe and look dirty).

On a busy (somewhat sketch) Street, but worth it

The Stay! Boardinghouse Hotel was not too bad for the price and location being near the main train station. The worst part of it was arriving in the middle of the night and having to walk through a bit of sketchy part of town, but no one bothered us as we powerwalked with our backpacks - there may or may not have been a group of people freebasing in front of one of the closed stores. There was a lot of noise outside our window at night, but with ear plugs and a sound machine app, it drowned out most of the yelling and honking. The bed was a little hard, but the convenience of being a 5-7 minute walk from the main train station was worth it. Also, the breakfast buffet was extensive, although a few of the foods offered were a bit strange for breakfast. Lots of dips of various sorts. Plenty of things to choose from, so it wasn’t a problem finding things to eat.

Wonderful staff, spacious rooms, very clean!

Genuinely friendly and helpful staff who ensure you have a very pleasant stay.
Hi five to Lars for being so hospitable.
The cleanliness was top notch. Conveniently located.
Neighborhood loud and sketchy, but did not feel dangerous. The hotel is a nice refuge among the chaos outside.

The room was spacious, & hotel is close to the central station. I found the staff a little rude, as I wasnt informed that the hotel has a strict check out at 11am morning. Unfortunately one of my meetings ran till 11 & I was asked to leave the room asap

The area around the Hotel is terrible and not safe for tourists, watch out.
The breakfast was turkish and fresh but not in our taste but i think its good if you are in to that kind of food.
The room was nice and clean, Easy parking in garage under the hotel.

Awesome hotel, bad side of town

I stayed here for 2 nights. Don’t get me wrong. The hotel was great. But it isn’t on the greatest side of town. I was hungry around 10 pm and I walked to the nearest store and I witnessed the Cops arresting some guy who was yelling. Bottom line: awesome hotel, bad side of town.

Very clean and new hotel. Free fruit and croissants at reception and free beer and water in the room. All this for a very reasonable rate.The hotel is a short walk from Hamburg Sud. A great hotel for a short city visit - located in the centre of city and short S-Bahn ride from the Airport.

A very hard bed! But otherwise the room was fine.
When one of our party was still in bed, there was a knock at the door offering room service, after several responses indicating he didn’t need it , the staff member came into the room , whilst they were still in bed telling him he needed to show some respect!

More than just the central location!

Location is perfect, particularly as it has safe parking as well, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how attractive the room was. The staff helped me out several times with queries which also added to the very positive impression. Will be back for certain!

Great for travelling with animals.

A Good Hotel. Clean and comfortable woth very frielndy and helpful staff. Dog friendly for any size dog at 10€ a night add. Fee which is decent. The \"kitchenette\" that was supposed to be in the room was just a fridge, a coffeemaker and a sink. No possibility to cook and no cutlery apart from the coffee spoons. The hotel is just a few minuties walk from the train station but the area is a bit dodgy but still just 5 min walk to the nicer streets.

Hotellet er i fin stand og har en god beliggenhed ifht. centrum.
Sengene er en smule hårde, men ikke noget alarmerende. Aircondition virker rigtigt godt.
Alt i alt et udemærket ophold.

Eneste reelle skuffelse var at jeg er Silver-medlem og vi havde dermed fri minibar (sodavand og vand) og det eneste minibaren indeholdt var øl.

Located in a bit exotic area, but Very Nice !

Very nice hotel ! Superficially, the hotel looks located in a bit excotic place with Kebab restaurants, Arabic characters, hookah parlars, second-hand cell phone shops, and other back-street types. However, I myself felt no risk during my stay. Actully, the facility itself is new, clean and comfortable. The room is equipped with small kitchnet, refligerator and coffee maker. Wi-Fi is fast enough to cover most regular businesses. More importantly, the location is just within a walking distance from Hamburg's central station and major subway stations. Also, price was very reasonable.
This must be my first choice for my next visit at Hamburg.

Quite a basic place to stay, but perfectly good for a short stay. 5 minutes from U and S train lines. Lots of Middle Eastern eateries nearby, but you have to go further afield to find much else.

One man's joy, another man's sorrow

The hotel owner is very proud about the new climate. It seems that he/ she never slept in such a room! The climate makes soo many noise, that I wasn't able to sleep. I measured 50-70 db sound level, traffic noise has a sound level of max. 50 db. This climate is a single harassment.

Breakfast is from 8 A.M. on (not useful for business people), but you might have a Croissant for free.

Great value for your money!!! clean and comfort.

We had a great stay, the stuff is very friendly and helpful, the room is designed and new, very large and clean. the bed was big and comfort as well.
The location is not the best, but we managed it.
The BIG minus was - lack of air conditioner. we got a ventilator which helped a lot but, on sunny days, it can be quite hot since you need to close the windows, otherwise you get lot of noise from the main street.

Hotel location is good, close to the center, bus and railway station. Comfortable underground parking. No breakfast - no probs. We had a lovely breakfast in the center, just 10 min to walk. Very friendly receptionist offered us fruits and variety of drinks. We left really happy with this hotel.

We were delayed into Hamburg after our flight got cancelled, but the hotel was fantastic as it was 24-hour, meaning they were more than happy to check us in at 4am. The rooms were a little on the warm side but immaculate, plus they threw in a Dyson fan for the sake of aircon. Free croissants and apples for breakfast, plus there was a nice Turkish breakfast restaurant adjoined (but separate). The shower was wet room-style, which wasn't bad but meant the toilet got a bit wet, too.

The rest of the area's not amazing, but the links to Hauptbahnhof etc were great - it never felt unsafe. Definitely recommended!

Our room was amazing and more of what we expected it to be. It was nice an big, the bed was comfortable, it had everything you needed (plus lovely extras that you wouldn't expect). OK hotel in a bad location

The hotel in a bad location with a big \"World of Sex\" shop right outside our window! There was also a good bit of people shouting etc. late into the night. The service is also minimal with little or no interaction with the reception. For these the price seemed to be on the high side. Otherwise the room was OK sized for 2 people but expected bigger for a \"deluxe\" room and for the price.

This is definitely not a 4.5 star hotel and I don't know who or how this was rated as 4.5 star?? The restaurant which was operated by another company was indefinitely closed with no other amenities. Expect a 3.5 star hotel that is good in all other aspects.

Great rooms... Sketchy neighborhood.

The hotel location within the city was excellent. It was less than a ten minute walk to the HBF. The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. The only negative I have for this girl is the neighborhood that it's in... There is a sex shop across the street and the most unsavory people walking around at all hours of the day and night. Seemed like alot of transients... And the police are always close.

Great quality hotel and service. Overall the quality of the room and facilities were excellent with full length opening windows in the street-facing rooms and a super comfortable bed the only (minor) issue was that the curtains let in a bit of light. Having an in-room mini-kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine really added value enabling us to eat-in when we wanted. The bathroom was more of a wet room and again was excellent. Reception were friendly and efficient and we really appreciated the extra lengths the house keeping went to clean the kitchen area which we didnt expect. We would stay there again without hesitation. I'd echo some of the comments about the local area which was a bit dirty and there are a few sex shops and so on but it wasn't a major issue for us and we really appreciated the convenience of being so close to the main railway station.

Great holidays in Hamburg

the hotel is new, the room is well equipped, the cleaning service is very good, great location not far away from the center in a walking distance and near to the nice cafes, restaurants and bars on the road Lange Reihe, where you can also find a gay friendly places... The only thing, what is not pleasant, is the neighbourhood of the hotel, which is Turkish district, right next to the building - pretty noisy and a bit dirty in the evening full of drunk locals or refugees.. But we didn' t really mind cause we were a group of friends.

this hotel is in a great location for the main station, all transport line and a short walk to city centre, the charming st Georg area and the Alster. It is clean, comfortable and modern without being particularly luxurious. We have many friends in Hamburg so we are out socialising for most of our stay and the location is ideal for us know the city well. It is located in a ‘colourful’ neighbourhood of the city, i can see some might find this a little unnerving, but we have never experienced anything negative. not the most romantic setting in the city, but very central and well connected if that is what you are looking for. All in all, good value and we would definitely stay again.

This hotel is quite new, it opened 2 years ago and is conveniently located in a quite local area, there are a lot of shisha bars nearby. Location is a 10 min walk from Hamburg Haptbanhof (Hamburg Central station) it's a short walk. Complimentary water is provided on arrival, tea and coffee is extra. Please note that room amenities include a hairdryer, and some soap in the shower,I would suggest bringing your own shampoo and body wash. Would stay here again.
