Located close to the central train station. Getting into the hotel with a stroller for small children was difficult as there were stairs. Had everything we needed for a good nights rest. The breakfast was good.

Short walk to the beautiful lakeside and Lange Reihe where there are lots of little cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Breakfast buffet was fresh and had plenty of options. Room was clean but tired/dated. No air con but windows opened. There was no bedside light , or light switch by the bed. Only 2 sockets in the room and a table light (not near the bed) was plugged into one. Bed was firm, pillows very soft. Very good shower. Limited breakfast selection but it was enough. Staff were lovely and we were able to leave our bags before we checked in.

We stayed for one night on our way to Copenhagen. The property is well managed, elevator is a bit small but working as it's supposed to be, room and bathroom are clean. Mattres is in a good condition. Our room was facing the opposite of the Hbf and it was nice and quiet in the evening.

Traveling with one teen, the hotel was mainly clean with a very nice breakfast. Our room opened onto the very busy street, and since the weather was very hot we needed the window open so it was very loud late into the night with people yelling, throwing bottles, and sirens. There was no fan or refrigerator, the single beds were very narrow with barely any space between them. The bathroom was very small with no window so a shower resulted in high humidity in the room. On the plus side the location was near to the train and city center with many restaurant choices so it was convenient for sightseeing.

Our son had to sleep in that uncomfortable and old bed that was right next to the heater. They never solved our problem.

This is my second stay in a Novum Hotel in Hamburg. This hotel is perfect for single and accompanied travellers. 2 minutes from the central railway station and there are many eating places in the neighbourhood. The hotel is quiet and the breakfast is delicious.

In fact, when you arrive it's dirty, ugly smelly rooms, with tattered beds. many steps, people with a suitcase won't even be able to enter the hotel! These people deceive their customers, they charge a very large fee (170€ per night) I do not recommend anyone to book a hotel, they are scammers!

Chose hotel for its family room for 4 of us. Arrived at 10am after disembarking from a cruise. Reception was able to get us into a room that was ready for checkin.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night. Terrible sleep because a close by night club plays loud music until 5 in the morning. The hotel tries to work with the covid 19 restrictions in their breakfast restaurant, but it is very tight. Would be better to make bookings for breakfast, to avoid too many people in the restaurant.

This was my I believe 5/6 stay at this hotel.It is very clean,comfortable with friendly English speaking staff.The Continental Breakfast is excellent and plentiful.Very close to the main railway station - Hauptbahnhof (25 min's to the airport and a less than 10min walk to the main shopping area.Only downside some noisy residents in the corridors.

My stay in this hotel was fabulous! The hotel is located literally 3 minutes away (on foot) from the Hamburg Main train station, it is in the center of Hamburg - we can walk anywhere, and if we so choose, we can take one of the hop-on-hop-off buses, which leave from the street in front of the Main Train station.
The rooms are very quiet. The breakfast is fantastic!

The hotel was only a few minutes away from the main station. The staff I had contact with were all friendly and helpful. There are about a dozen steps to climb up to the entrance which would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. The only drawback with the room was the he bed was against the window and the cold air was flowing over my head but the room layout meant that was the only place for the bed.

Morgenmaden kan nemt forbedres væsentligt: Lad være med at servere hårdkogte æg - og køl dem ned inden de lægges ud, hermed stoppes kogningen. Selv æg taget lige ved åbningstid, var hårdkogte. Server gerne rigtig juice i stedet for det saftevands-lignende nektar.

The stay was great. The staff was positive and hospitable. The hotelroom was clean and simple - as was the bathroom. The hotel is close to everything like shopping, museums, the trainstation and so on. Parking in front of the hotel is paid parking from 9 to 22 and from 22 to 9 it is free parking.
