I stayed one night and it was a comfortable stay.
Here are the pros and cons for me:

Pros:
-The gentleman at reception was polite and very efficient. As the room was vacant he offered me a much earlier check in which was very useful as I had arrived early.
-Hotel and the room were very clean.
-It is located very close to a metro station, the area is fairly decent and not far from the city centre.
It was a cold winter day. The room was quiet.

Cons:
There is no coffee/tea making facility in the room, which is a standard everywhere I have stayed before.
I did not see any bins in the room and had to use the toilet bin for my rubbish.
The room did not have a wardrobe. There was a basic rack however.
I expect the above basic room facilities of a hotel in this class.

Will I stay again? Only if I have to and found no better options.

Under my motel one expectation.

Only stayed overnight.

The motel one standard is very high as usual. and it is not the first time i was using them.
I was bit dissapointed that I called 2 times in space of 15 min. before arrival to hear about parking in the area and nobody answered, although there were 5 people at the front desk. Arrived late and check in took some time due to training of new employee.

There are more then 15 floors of this motel one, but somehow we got the smallest room possible.(maybe ever for a double room).
Not the greatest motel one stay but you cant be lucky every time.

The hotel asked of we wanted to add breakfast to our stay which we did and then made us pay separately for it. The breakfast was very lacklustre, cereal and sandwich makings. The room was extremely tiny with very little room to walk or sit in. There was no phone available even at the front desk for local calls and there was no printer available either. No vending machines bit the bar was open 24hrs with very overpriced food and drinks.

Make sure you pay in euro

I liked the hotel, but had to pay 21 euro extra using my credit card because the receptionist asked if I wanted to pay in my own currency and I thought why not, it would be easiere to calculate with. She did however not tell me that it would cost 21 euro extra in a virtual \"currency exchange\". When I found out I asked them to return the purchase since I hadn't been told this would happen. This was apparantly not possible., which of course is complete rubbish. 21 euro right out the window...

The neighborhood is basicly only with Muslim stores. It was a bit like China town just with muslims.. we found a great Turkish restaurant though with great meats (but no beer, since it was muslim)

The room was good and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was okay, but there were only bread and cereal. I expected some scrambled eggs and bacon or other hot dishes.

Overall it was ok, but I wont be returning to that particular hotel.

Very convenient for S-bhan airport link, as well as local U-bhan. Walking distance to old town. Hotel itself is immaculate with friendly staff, though local surroundings are a bit run down and dirty. Wouldn’t choose to eat in local area.

the Internet login for vouchers (prepaid rooms) and for payment at check-in is apparently different. However, the desk staff did not know and tried to make me look as if I were not capable to log in in the Internet. Did not like so much this experience.

Motel One happy choice for Hamburg

Hotel staff very friendly. Room was clean, well appointed. Hooray for feather free bedding!!! Excellent location near the Alster and just steps away from the local metro. 5 minutes from an area full of restaurants of all cuisines.

Convenient, clean, nice, and FAST WIFI

Just a night in Hamburg. The hotel is in a very convenient spot in Hamburg, near the U-bahn (one stop from Hauptbahnhof) and just a 5-minute walk from Berliner Tor and the S-bahn to the airport. Parking is convenient as well and it's easy to drive to. Rooms are nice and new, but perhaps a bit spartan and on the small side. But perfect for a quick trip/overnight.

Best thing is the wifi speed and quality: fastest hotel internet I have ever experienced, which was nice to watch a movie and relax instead of \"buffering...\" or connection failures.

Quiet room and convenient location

Hotel was convenient to central Hamburg, either 15 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof or 1 stop on U-bahn. Steindamm has lots of convenient grocery stores, altho it can be a seedy closer to the Hauptbahnhof. Lange Reihe, the other main drag in St. Georg is only 2 blocks away, with lots of good restaurants.

The Motel One \"thing\" is to have the living room/pantry in the lobby and your room is your bedroom. Personally, I miss having a kettle in the room to make a quick cup of tea. The beds are comfortable but if Motel One wants to make the rooms even more efficient, they should think about drop down tables and fold away chairs.

The EUR 9.50 breakfast might sound like a bargain until you see everyone jammed in the lobby lounge balancing small plates on their knees and trying not to bump into the person sitting next to them. Seriously folks, you can spend the same money in more comfortable cafes outside.

modern, new, good location for a very good price

the locations is perfect, right beside the subway station. My room on the 12th floor was small with a very small shower, but wifi for free worked very well and the beds are comfortable. Very clean room, nice temperature in the room and very quiet. In the lobby there is a bar with a very good choice of alcohol free and alcoholic beverages. In the morning you pay an extra 9.50 euro for the breakfast (6-10 a.m.) with a huge selection of healthy food, many organic choices and even gluten free bread. Pay attention to the rush hour between 7-9 a.m. there was a long line. Very good coffee, latte or cappuccino.

I like the Motel One hotel chain. Their colors and \"fish TV music\" are comforting. The rooms are small and breakfast is not included however. This location was close to everything we needed with a short walk. The hotel staff was very friendly too. We would recommend this hotel.

Sleek Hotel Close to Hamburg Central Station

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel, with respect to the physical plant, the professional service and staff and general atmosphere. The only things I would suggest would be to move the desk close to electrical outlets, as opposed to across the room. I conducted some furniture rearrangement and then all was good. Also, it would be good to have some real soap and not the thin \"body wash\" that doubles as shampoo. The breakfast was not included in the rate and for 7,50, I thought should have included some salmon, herring or some type of fish. The coffee, though, was excellent and overall, I would and will return to this hotel. It's about 1 km from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and an easy walk.

Fantastic option in Hamburg!

The hotel is modern yet it feels calm as you walk past reception. Very comfortable bed and room although on the small side (as all rooms in Europe) has everything you need. We didn't try the food, only used it to spend the night. U-bahn stop right outside is extremely convenient, particularly for bad weather! Only 1 stop from main train station in Hamburg.

Tidy but boring

The best thing is that it is located directly at the station exit - just one train stop from the Hauptbahnhof. Great when you are lugging heavy bags. The decor is standard - very clean and attractive but room is very small. There are NO extras...no Wi FI in rooms is a turn off. But you get what you pay for. It is a motel chain- regular, reliable and, in spite of the bright blue chairs, rather boring.

Efficient and excellent customer service. Modern contemporary hotel. Clean and functional rooms. Located right by a tube stop that takes u in to the centre of town in less than 10 minutes. This hotel is good value for money and there is a good amount to like about it. Downsides are that the rooms, although neat and functional, are very small and not somewhere you'd want to sit and relax. Also its at the end of a road that is pretty run down but get the tube and you don't see that. Makes a good business hotel or for a couple of nights on a city break.

The only problem was that they didn't have my reservation, booked through 'Hotels.com' This could have been a disaster as the hotel was almost full. Fortunately the reception staff were very good and resolved the situation quickly.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel glich während unseres Besuchs einer Baustelle, worüber wir im Vorfeld in keiner Weise informiert wurden. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts fanden Bauarbeiten statt. Selbst am Samstagmorgen begannen die Arbeiten bereits ab 9:00 Uhr.
Besonders irritierend war der Zustand des Aufzugs, der mit OSB-Platten verkleidet war und insgesamt keinen einladenden Eindruck vermittelte.
Wir hätten uns vorab eine transparente Information über die Renovierungsarbeiten gewünscht, um unsere Reise entsprechend planen oder gegebenenfalls umbuchen zu können.

Wie in jedem Motel One: sauberes, aber winziges Zimmer mit einem TV, bei dem sinnfreier Weise der Sleeptimer gesperrt ist. Frühstück ebenfalls wie in allen Motel One: einfach nicht mit buchen und statt dessen zum Bäcker um die Ecke gehen.

Receptions personalet udtrykte stor ligegyldighed og total mangel på smil og service.
Mindste værelse nogensinde og ikke ordentligt rent.
Rengøringen kom om morgenen direkte ind på værelset uden at banke på.
Lobbyen var rodet og lignede et værtshus der manglede oprydning.
Vi anbefaler klart ikke dette hotel.

NIE WIEDER! 50 min Warten in der Schlange für den Check-in. Anscheinend wegen einer neuen Software. Morgens zum Frühstück dann nochmal 35 min in der Schlange warten. Ganz ohne Software. Und im Zimmer lang unterm Bett eine tote Kakerlake. Der war die Wartezeit vermutlich zu lange. Ist den Wartetot gestorben. Nie wieder dieses Hotel.

Nettes Personal und zentrale Lage an der U-Bahn, gute Ausstattung. Sehr sauber und schönes Zimmer. Leider hat der Check-In sehr lange gedauert. Hier sollte zu Stoßzeiten mehr Personal eingesetzt werden. In der Nacht war es im Zimmer laut, da im gegenüberliegenden Zimmer gefeiert wurde. Dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts.

Værelset opfyldte behovet for en enket ovenatning men ikke mere end det.. Vi ankom 2 påskedag hvor meget er lukket det var comforten på hotellet så også.. som i man kunne ikke en gang købe en kop kaffe.. og servicen fra receptionen var total værdiløs.. det lykkes heldigvis at få en halvkogt kop fra en kiosk nogle 100 meter fra hotellet..
Så Motel One op jer og sæt en automat op til jeres gæster

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, da direkt vor dem Eingang die U-Bahn Station ist. In der näheren Umgebung genug Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein kleiner Park liegt direkt gegenüber. Leider war die Warmwasserversorgung im 12 Stock etwas schwankend und die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert.

Für 2 Nächte in Ordnung, für deutlich länger ist es mir persönlich zu klein und spartanisch eingerichtet.
Personal ist Mittelmaß, sauber ist es allerdings.
Leise sind die Zimmer auch.
Das Frühstück ist sehr mau und dafür echt teuer.
Wir empfehlen 2 Straßen weiter ein türkisches Restaurant mit täglichem günstigeren Frühstück und viel mehr Auswahl. 👍

Das Frühstück bot eine vielfältige Auswahl, leider war der Sitzbereich jedoch oft stark überfüllt, da es zu wenige Sitzplätze für alle Gäste gab. Eine äußerst freundliche und stets gut gelaunte Dame (mein Respekt für ihren Einsatz) kümmerte sich um die Platzierung der Gäste, doch leider musste man dafür jedes Mal etwas warten. Das Ambiente beim Frühstück war daher eher hektisch und weniger entspannend. Das Servicepersonal war jedoch stets bemüht und sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sauber und insgesamt zufriedenstellend.

Uno standard insolito per Motel One.

Di tutti i Motel one che ho sempre apprezzato molto, il meno confortevole. Non ha ne il frigobar ne la cassaforte in camera. Stanza piccola e fredda. Il riscaldamento non era attivabile perché per loro era estate ma in realtà la stanza era davvero fredda. Mi hanno subito portato un altro piumino. Gesto gentile ma non ero in campeggio. Mancava la crema idratante in bagno c’era solo il dosatore del sapone e normalmente è presente. Al personale invece va una grande nota di merito. Alla direzione un suggerimento di adeguamento agli standard dei loro hotel di Monaco Innsbruck Colonia Brussels etc. Ne ha bisogno. La posizione va bene. Appena decentrata ma comunque centrale e con la metro all uscita dell hotel. Gli altri Motel one erano occupati i giorni della mia permanenza. Non so se ci ritornerò. Scarso. Un peccato.

Generel god oplevelse.

Hotelrummet var fint og rigtig god seng. Badeværelset var virkelig lækkert. Jeg manglede dog en affaldsspand og der kunne godt have været støvsuget lidt bedre. Der hang en mindre støvsamling på væggen. Det var mindre lækkert.
Men alt i alt en grundliggende god oplevelse.

Top Lage, direkt am U-Bahn-Halt Lohmühlenstraße, nur 1 Stopp vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt (U1 Ri Ohlstedt).

Nur 10 min zu Fuß zur \"Langen Reihe\" in St Georg, wo Restaurants und Geschäfte sich aneinanderreihen.

Hotel selbst halt Motel One, aber mit ausgesprochen freundlichem Personal - man fühlt sich trotz \"Kette\" sehr willkommen.
