What a nightmare stay! The entire place reeks of cigarette smoke. The staff were incredibly rude, hostile even. Also, check your bill, they tried to charge me for several additional services. The hotel maids kicked me out before checkout time, because they wanted to finish early. The area is a dangerous area. I would stay anywhere else, if I were to visit again. Even a cardboard box would be nicer than this place.

We checked in at 1 am, after our flight was delayed and driving 6 h . The night desk staff said “ we have no rooms for you since you arrived late,” I informed him that I had a reservation and room was prepaid. He laughed and said
“ I was just joking!”
This was unprofessional and inappropriate. He then said free breakfast is available from 6 to 10 am.
When we check out , the front desk staff said breakfast is 19 euros. I informed her that I was told it was free.
She said it’s not and would not waive the charges.

Very rude hotel manager towards British guests.

very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant in a very strange area!
As a regular Best Western guest I always book them for a pretty much guaranteed great stay.
However this stay was entirely ruined by the deputy manager who apparently had a bee in his bonnet!!
The manner that we were shouted at due to a mix up regarding check out that was nothing to do with us. The manager shouted at us demanding that we can’t leave without paying, Even though we were not totally leaving the hotel simply going for a breath of fresh air outside. The manager was totally out of order as there was no way we were going to “run away without paying” as the hotel had all of our suitcases and luggage, Even my wallet, Passport and £1000+ of work equipment.
A total moron of a manager, We wouldn’t stay again with this exact hotel which is a shame as it’s very good otherwise. A formal complaint will be made to Best Western Hotel Group. I can only imagine that we were treated in this way due to being British visitors.

Everything you need

All the amenities I wanted, nice restaurant and a McDonald’s across the parking lot, in room safe and refrigerator (perfect for our medicine) American TV stations and most important Free shuttle to and from Airport so very easy to get into town from the airport. Very friendly staff. Only odd thing towel rack too high had to use hanger to get my towels. Nice walk in shower very comfortable rooms. I will stay here again next time I travel to Amsterdam

New, renovated suites and rooms!

I booked this hotel for one night as we were traveling up north to Denmark and we needed a hotel close to the highway, but close to the center also. I booked a room and we actually got a Suite! A totally new, beautiful, 2 room suite with 2 TVs and a fire place, huge bathroom etc. We really enjoyed our stay, it was actually the most beautiful and spacious room I have ever stayed in in my life out of all the 4-5 starts hotels I have been in in the last years.
The hotel has a wonderful SPA area also, on the same floor and a huge gym with great view. The staff were kind and helpful.
The hotel is in a silent street, so we slept very good and the breakfast was also very nice.
We were sorry that we could not stay more, and we would love to go back any time.

Nice Hamburg Hotel Outside the Crazy city

The Hotel is a nice one 4 star but the Hospitality and service is 5 Star. They have a nice bar and a wonderful ambiance. Don't forget to use their Spa and Sauna and try their Breakfast Menu atleast once during your stay. The Location is at the industrial Area but most of the people staying in the hotel are business people so don't worry. If you want a place away from the crazy city don't hesitate to book here but if you are the backpacker type who wants the action in the nearby places then think about it.

Hotel Boettcherhof, Hamburg - Beautiful

I was slightly worried when booking a nights stay at Hotel Boettcherhor in Hamburg through hotels.com. The price was one of those \"almost too good to be true's\". After spending the day in Berlin and on our way to Copenhagen to depart on our 11 Night cruise, Hamburg seemed like a good mid point for an overnight stop. Compared to most hotels in large cities in Germany, the hotels in Hamburg were more reasonably priced. While looking at hotels.com I saw Hotel Boettcherhof. The cost for the room was quite a bit lower than other hotels in Hamburg...almost too good to be true. I was hesitant to book rooms for my family of five...worried that it must be located in a \"less desirable\" neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to the front door. When I walked into the lobby to check-in, I was then worried the price I was quoted was a mistake and it was going to cost much more. The receptionist confirmed the hotels.com price and I happily pulled my car into the underground parking garage (with ample parking), grabbed the luggage and proceedeed up the elevator to a very nice room down the hall from the spa. The only downside to this beautiful hotel is its location. It is located in more of an industrial area. For someone looking for a quieter stay in Hamburg a few km's/miles out from the city center, I highly recommend the Hotel Boettcherhof.

A Good Hotel in Hamburg

A good hotel. Everything was as asked for. The reception staff spoke very good English.

Breakfast is a buffet service and reasonably priced.

The bar area offered a good selection of drinks and appeared to be open 24 hours a day.

There is a computer and internet connection in the lounge area with the ability to print off boarding passes for return flights.

The hotel is located in an industrial area so there is not much around the actual hotel itself. Despite this there was not a lot of noise. The hotel has excellent transport connections. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. This bus connects with the S and U-Bahn services into Central Hamburg. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to Central Hamburg by public transport and 30 minutes to the airport. The buses run from 5am to 11pm. After these hours we found taxis convenient and easy to find, but obviously more expensive than public transport.

Excellent stay, if you have a car or don't mind being outside of the center

The hotel was mainly occupied by businessman, but we had a great stay with my wife and daughter. Breakfast was very good. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is outside of the city center, so visitors should better travel by car, and have a GPS or a printed route plan.

180€ für keine Leistung und einen Negativ Abend ausgegeben!!! Dieses Hotel akzeptiert keine Hunde ich habe das während der Buchung leider übersehen und direkt nach der Buchung das Hotel und Expedia kontaktiert. Leider war die Buchung Last Minute und nicht stornierbar war was ich an der reception erwähnt habe … leider ist mein Geld trotzdem ins Schwarze Loch gefallen. Ich besuche solche unternehmen eigentlich nicht aber die Lehre war es wert. Das Hotel ist weder kulant noch menschlich was für die besitzerfamilie spricht. Schade und unangenehm!!! Also lieber Geld woanders investieren hier ist es leider rausgeschmissenes Geld und dann noch für Restaurant und parken voll kassieren… es gibt ja Menschen die kriegen ihren Hals nicht voll bis zur Insolvenz…

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, einige Tage in diesem Hotel zu verbringen, und es war rundum perfekt.

Service: Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen.
Zimmer: Modern, sauber und sehr komfortabel. Die Betten sind ein Traum, und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Lage: Ideal gelegen – ruhig und direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle.
Kulinarik: Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und von höchster Qualität. Auch das Restaurant bietet hervorragende Gerichte.
Extras: Kostenloses WLAN, ein sehr großzügiger moderner Wellnessbereich und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten machen den Aufenthalt besonders.

Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderbare Erfahrung!

Ich war schon mehrfach im Böttcherhof. Mittlerweile bezahlt man für ein Saunahandtuch und einen Bademantel 5€! Das finde ich nicht angemessen, vorallem nicht für ein Handtuch extra bezahlen zu müssen in einem 4* Hotel. Auch die Preise im Restaurant 10€ f. Pommes finde ich sehr hoch.
Rund um das Hotel gibt es ja keine Restaurants etc also kein Wettbewerb

Sauberes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit guter Autobahnanbindung. Überraschender Weise gab es ein tolles Zimmer-Upgrade, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Auch die Parkmöglichkeit war mit 17€ um einiges günstiger als in anderen Hamburger Hotels. Perfekt-vielen Dank!

Bien, mais mal desservi!

Séjour de 3 nuitées en couple, chambre confortable et spacieuse, propreté très correcte, petit déjeuner fantastique, le prix est en conséquence pas loin de 25 euros par personne. Seuls bémols de ce séjour concerne la situation géographique, excentré du centre ville et mal desservis par les bus, à plusieurs reprises nous avons dû rejoindre la première station métro à pieds, environ 1,6km, 25 minutes de marche, avec les valises, ce n'est pas évident !

Nahezu perfektes Hotel in etwas 'seltsamer Lage'.

Je nachdem, von wo man kommt, fährt man mehrere Minuten durch Industriegebiete. Direkt um das Hotel sind ausschließlich Baustellen, diverse Industrien und Gewerbe, keinerlei Wohngegend. Man sieht tagsüber eigentlich nur LKW, die ununterbrochen durch das Viertel donnern. Nachts ist es ruhig (bezogen auf Wochenende). Wir wollten eigentlich vom Hotel aus zu Fuß etwas Hamburg erkunden, das kann man sich sparen. Es gibt fußläufig überhaupt nichts zu sehen.

Abgesehen davon war das Hotel perfekt für uns (Wochend-Trip, oder gern auch länger beim nächsten Mal). Bushaltestellen (mehrere) fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Parkhaus (gegen Gebühr) direkt am Hotel, ausreichend Platz vorhanden (war trotz Wochenende nicht voll).

Empfang und Service super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Frühstück für 25 für € p.P. mehr als angemessen - u.a. Kaffeeautomat mit div. Spezialitäten, Speck und Eier, Brötchen, Joghurt, div. Aufschnitte und Käse, Obst, Müsli... Es war wirklich für jeden was dabei. Super schöner 'Speise-Raum' / Restaurant.

Sauberkeit perfekt. Das Zimmer war blitzeblank.

Moderne Einrichtung im Zimmer: Mehrfach indirektes Licht, großer TV, digitaler Helfer (Tablet).

Uns hat es hier SUPER gefallen und ich würde das Hotel defintiv wieder buchen. Allerdings nur allein oder als Paar, nicht mit Kindern (aufgrund Umgebung). Wir haben auch kein Kind dort gesehen.

Positive Überraschung, wie modern und komfortabel hätte ich das Hotelzimmer gar nicht erwartet. Dazu eine Klasse Bar mit sehr hilfsbereiten Personal. Leider ist es etwas außerhalb der klassischen touristischen Bereiche. Dennoch kommt man gut überall hin. Daher eine absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schade sind die unregelmäßigen Busfahrten am Wochenende…
Schade war auch, dass eine Familie den Ruhepunkt im Spa komplett einnahm, aber ansonsten alles top top :)
