Perfect for Business with secure Parking
Stayed at the Hotel for business. Used the secure underground parking for the hotel which was easy to use and didn't struggle to find a space. Only used the bar due to the timings of my work, but service was great and large selection of drinks. Reception service was friendly & spoke good English. And room was clean. Would use again.

The restaurants in the hotel are quite nice. The breakfast menu was surprisingly very good. I didn't like the room as its quite old and needs modernizing. TV was disappointing as there are no good English channels like BBC or CNN.

Hotel Panorama Hamburg-Billstedt is a clean friendly hotel situated conveniently for both Rienbeck and Hamburg. Rooms are clean and comfortably. Breakfast is excellent and evening food can be obtained in the Bar down stairs and has a pleasant and affordable menu with service in a Pub type atmosphere. There is a large shopping centre just across the road

I was visiting a relative who is ill. The hotel meets my requirements for a convenient base from which to travel by U-Bahn to my cousin's hospital. Billstedt is only a 10 minute U-Bahn journey to the city centre. I usually stay at the Panorama Inn opposite but decided to 'upgrade' to the Panorama Hotel. Quite honestly, there is hardly any difference in the room facilities/quality AND you have to pay 8 Euros extra per day for breakfast at the Panorama Hotel, which is not worth it for a muesli-eating vegetarian! The Billstedt Centre has an excellent range of shops and food outlets. The immediate area has a large Turkish population, which is reflected in the independent shops and restaurants. I will be staying again.

I always stay here when visiting Hamburg. The hotel is great clean and well presented. The staff are good Breakfast is great.. The prices are good and its not to far out of the main Hamburg centre. Theres a good shopping centre across the road and local ammeanaties are good for everything you need.

Good clean hotel. Nicely located across from shopping and restaurants. Although it is advertised as having free WiFi, it was not the case. As in most place in Germany, the WiFi is through a third part service provider and not through the hotel. They did have a computer in the lobby that could be used by the guests.

Bait and Switch Hotel
I thought I was staying at the hotel across the street but when I went to register they sent me to their sister hotel. The rooms were less than average, the staff was snippy and the breakfast was minimal and extremely expensive.

Dieses Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Hamburg direkt an einer Autobahn. Es ist sehr laut. Schlafen ist nur mit geschlossenen Fenster möglich. Die Möbel sind okay, wirkt ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und nett zurecht gemacht. Das Obst könnte kleiner zurecht gemacht werden.

We checked in at the hotel, which is located in Billstedt – just about a 3-minute walk from Billstedt Center, where you’ll find shops like Primark. The area has good public transport and nice dining options nearby, but it felt a bit unsafe in the evening.
The hotel interior is very outdated. That wouldn’t normally be an issue, but unfortunately, within minutes of arriving in our room, we discovered two different insects – a centipede and a weevil. As I have a strong phobia of insects, we immediately called the reception. They said someone would come, but no one did.
I went down to the reception to explain my situation and my phobia. The receptionist told me he was alone during the day and would call a staff member, but it would take 1–1.5 hours. That was not acceptable, as we were still expected to stay in the room in the meantime. Instead of offering any real help, he simply started checking in new guests.
About 20–30 minutes later, the receptionist did come to the room – but by then, a third person (not from the hotel) had already helped us. Unfortunately, the centipede had disappeared, so we spent the night feeling uneasy and uncomfortable.
We only stayed for one night, but we slept poorly due to the situation. Hotels.com handled the issue well, but the hotel itself did not offer any real assistance or take responsibility.
The hotel interior is very outdated. That wouldn’t normally be an issue, but unfortunately, within minutes of arriving in our room, we discovered two different insects – a centipede and a weevil. As I have a strong phobia of insects, we immediately called the reception. They said someone would come, but no one did.
I went down to the reception to explain my situation and my phobia. The receptionist told me he was alone during the day and would call a staff member, but it would take 1–1.5 hours. That was not acceptable, as we were still expected to stay in the room in the meantime. Instead of offering any real help, he simply started checking in new guests.
About 20–30 minutes later, the receptionist did come to the room – but by then, a third person (not from the hotel) had already helped us. Unfortunately, the centipede had disappeared, so we spent the night feeling uneasy and uncomfortable.
We only stayed for one night, but we slept poorly due to the situation. Hotels.com handled the issue well, but the hotel itself did not offer any real assistance or take responsibility.

Hotellet ligger lige ved en motorvejsafkørsel, så det er nemt at komme til. Man kan ikke høre trafikstøj på værelset. Der er kun ca 8 p-pladser til gæster bag hotellet. Men lige ved siden af er en kæmpe offentlig parkeringsplads, hvor man kan betale for parkering, hvis hotellet ikke har flere ledige p-pladser.
Hotellet ligger tæt på Ubahn og Billstedt Shoppingcenter med mange spisesteder og butikker (bl.a. Primark I 3 etager).
Hotellet er meget pænt og velholdt både på fællesområder og værelse. Indretningen er gammeldags og ligner noget fra 1990'erne, men det er velholdt og pænt. Der er udendørs elektriske skodder for vinduerne, som giver total mørklægning når/hvis man ønsker det. Stort badeværelse. TV med mange tyske kanaler men ingen internationale.
Fin buffet i morgenmadsrestauranten. Billigere at købe på hotellet end via hotels.com. Der er flere caféer/bagere tæt på, hvis man hellere vil spise der.

Vi har haft et rigtig dejlig ophold. Værelset har en pænt størrelse. Sengen er værken blød eller hårdt. Der kan ses at hotellet er en ældre dame, men hyggeligt. Hotellet er ikke langt væk fra Bildtstedt, hvor der er et indkøbscenter og mange muligheder for at få noget godt mad til rimelige penge. Tog og bane er lige i forlængelse af indkøbscentret.

Der Standort in Billstedt ist für Touristen nicht unbedingt die Beste Lage von Hamburg, jedoch für Verwandschaftsbesuch oder Wochenendpendler eine gute und günstige Alternative in einem guten Hotel vernünftig zu übernachten. Wir kommen regelmäßig nach Hamburg und fühlen uns da trotz der Umgebung recht wohl. Auch das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich.

Hotel an sich gut. Personal könnte noch ein bisschen netter sein und das Lächeln üben. Zimmer sauber und ordentlich. Das freie wlan ist naja..geht grad so.. Premium kostet. Preis fürs Zimmer find ich zu hoch weil Frühstück exkl. Tiefgaragenpreis finde ich auch zu teuer. Wir stehen mit dem Auto auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz. Wir haben dieses Hotel gewählt weil wir mit Auto angereist sind und eine Freundin um die Ecke wohnt. Zudem ist die Ubahn gleich in der Nähe und ermöglichte uns das pendeln in die Hamburger Innenstadt. HamburgCard sehr zu empfehlen.

Første og sidste gang på det hotel. Ingen air con på dette 4 stjernet hotel.(forstår ikke de 4 stjerner ) Køleskab virkede ikke. Væggene var beskidte. Der lå en moske ved siden af der vækkede en kl4.30 med bøn. Vil absolut ikke anbefale dette hotel til nogen som helst. Key card virkede ikke og blev bare mødt af sur receptionist der sagde det er fordi I har prøvet mere end 3 gange. Øhhh jamen det virkede jo ikke.

Wir waren mit 5 Personen für einen Wochenendtrip in Hamburg. Das Hotel liegt nahe einer U-Bahn Station dadurch sind alle Ziele gut zu erreichen. Die Fenster sind gut isoliert und der Lärm der Straße und der nahen Autobahn ist kaum wahrzunehmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, und das Frühstück war hervorragend.

Við bókuðum 2 herbergi fyrir tvenn hjón. Þegar við komum á staðinn var bókunin fyrir okkur, sem pöntuðum, týnd, en hún fannst hjá hinum hjónunum. (Var allt á sömu bókuninni).
Okkur var tekið mjög fálega og ekki skánaði viðmótið þegar bókunin fannst ekki.
Ekkert hjálpaði að sýna staðfestingu á bókuninni frá hótelinu. Það var ekkert tekið mark á því.
Við fengum að vísu herbergi fyrir bæði hjónin fyrir rest, en viðmótið og móttökurnar gerðu það að gleði okkar og gott skap fór í vaskinn og dagurinn var í rauninni eyðilegður fyrir okkur.
