Antigua Village Beach Resort is blissfully situated on one of Antigua's most beautiful beaches along the northwest coast. Just steps from the tranquil Caribbean Sea, this internationally owned resort offers stunning ocean views.

Set on four beachfront acres, the resort comprises self-catering apartments, each uniquely styled and nestled within lush gardens filled with tropical coconut and fruit trees. Antigua Village offers guests a unique blend of comfort, character, and Caribbean culture.

Please note that the hotel will be closed for refurbishment from September 1st to 30th, 2024.

Fabulous chilled complex right on the beach - laid back and lovely setting - large studio unit was perfect for us and the large balcony with the garden and sea view was also really special. Great location for local walks to Runaway beach Calving Heli tours and to St Johns brilliant restaurants close too so all round quite magical really!
Staff were superb too - helpful friendly and rally supportive to our needs.

We loved the room that we stayed in. It appeared to be recently renovated, clean with comfortable beds. I didn't particular care for the location - right next to a major drop off point for day time cruise passengers and the massive Sandals resort, but some people may enjoy that energy. The pool area was quiet and we enjoyed that part of the resort.

We were very happy with our 8 night stay at Antigua Village. Our one bedroom beachfront villa exceeded our expectations. We were located right on the beach with a magnificent view of the Caribbean. The front desk staff, cleaning staff and security were all very helpful.

The apartment was well appointed, clean, with an incredibly gorgeous view of the beach. It was perfect. Lots of space. Deck provided lots of shade which we appreciated with a sitting table, 4 chairs and 2 lounges. Had a gas bbq too. Cleaning staff were thorough and very friendly.

This is a quiet village complex with grounds and room kept in very good condition. The beach sand is white and soft and the water clear and sandy shallow bottom. As the beach has large Sandals and Royalton resorts that you cannot access there is very limited dining or beach bars within walking distance and no access to any evening entertainment. Other beaches offer more options if you want to drive or taxi.

My family and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! The van drivers, cleaning staff, and security were all incredibly professional and friendly — their hospitality really stood out. I do wish the lady at the front desk had been more welcoming, as first impressions matter. Also, the property has so many beautiful mango trees — it would be amazing if they picked the fruit and served it to guests in the morning instead of letting it go to waste. Small touches like that could make the experience even better. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here!

Antigua Village Beach Resort is a gem! I stayed for 1 week with a friend in May 2025 and our experience was beyond memorable. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating, and the location directly on a stunning beach…you cannot go wrong! All I think about now is when can I come back? We were so sad to leave that we even tried to see if we could change our tickets to extend our stay. Beautiful, clean, tranquil. Special props to Heleen (grocery), Levi (taxi) and Katy-Ann (reception)…you all are awesome and helped to make our trip one of the best ever! Cannot wait to see you again soon! Antigua nice!!

The most wonderful stay! We stayed in a beach front villa and it was equipped with everything we needed, even all basic cooking supplies and utensils. The staff were all helpful and willing to go above and beyond to assist with whatever we needed. They set up our rental car reservation and taxis were readily available for anywhere we wanted to go. We arrived early and they let us check in early without a problem. The property grounds are gorgeous! The beach is lovely and clean with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The food was also amazing the Salt Plage, the restaurant next door. I will definitely be returning to this property. It felt like my own little apartment and I was sad to go.

Our Villa was excellent and so was the property! We loved the spacious outdoor patio with great beach views and immediate access to the beach. Only small drawback was noticeable music from the nearby Sandals resort but at least it was finished by 9:30 pm (and this only occurred one or two evenings.

We stayed in Condo 5S and it was perfect for 2 people. The view was amazing and the condo itself was modern and clean. All the amenities you would need.Steps to the beach and a couple of restaurants. We were advised not to go to the restaurant next door,Ana’s as it was well known for subpar food and service. We felt totally safe and security is on property.There is a grocery store about a mile down the road that carries everything. All in all I would definitely rent this condo again.

Wonderful sandy beach - now somewhat dominated by the huge Sandals neighboring resort. We did go 19 years ago - before Sandals and it was great. AV is still in great condition and it laid back, fairly basic but clean, tidy and maintained. Studio was OK for space, large patio makes up for the relatively small size. Cleaners were great (every day) and there is a little store there for (inflated) basic supplies. First Choice supermarket is about a mile down the road. Local restaurants ranged from OK to great. Explore the island (by day - as the potholes can be nasty at night!) or just sit on the beach chairs - drink in hand, and relax.

February was very busy with cruise ship guests being dropped off and walking up and down the beach trying to find a place to lounge and swim. Definitely no room for all the cruise people. If you are using the beach area and tiki huts that are specific for Antigua village, the people are walking all around you. Not relaxing. The pool area does not have enough seating and the loungers are in the grass not on the cement.

Space was clean and spacious and felt very safe. A few items to possibly improve on:

1. More comfortable pillows. They seemed very old and cheap.
2. Food - it is quite difficult to get food without going to an offsite location. It would be great if the property would provide some warning and recommendations. Otherwise, guests wait a very long time at the only onsite option. Has a 'food truck' option ever been considered? This is something that has taken off in recent years in the US. Maybe a great business opportunity for some local folks!! A mobile coffee truck would make a killing. Another idea would be to stock the local shop [next to check in] with some actual groceries [eggs, fruit, bread, etc..]; or offer to stock room's with food for an additional cost.

Let’s start with the fact that my bed had no sheets on it the first night, and I was told housekeeping was closed and therefore I had to live with it. Imagine sleeping on a dingy mattress that dozens have slept on….

The next day they took hours to rectify it, didn’t come until almost lunchtime, while we waited. We found the staff, except for front desk, generally unhelpful. Beach towels were supposed to be in our room, they weren’t, and when I asked for some, I was told to get them myself, from a building across from the actual hotel!

Every interaction with housekeeping was unpleasant and our room was not even cleaned on the second last day of our stay.

It is also not a resort, it’s a bunch of timeshare type units. They all look completely different from each other inside, and I’m sure there are nice ones, but ours was not one of them. As basic as it comes, not worth the room rate in the slightest.

There is no restaurant associated with the hotel, no room service or bar.

The only plus was that it’s on a great beach.

I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The property has a 60’s ambiance to it, your room key is actually 2 keys on a heavy metal holder. No key card here. There are no restrooms on the property so be prepared to run to your room. The saving grace is the spectacular beach, clear blue water, no drops or ridges you are on level sand getting in and out. 3 nearby restaurants at adjacent properties give a choice of dining. All in all great place to have a quiet beach holiday, between 8 and 11 you have your own private beach.

This is a nice friendly resort with all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. It’s very safe and quite clean. Just wish the unit I stayed in had AC in the living area as opposed to only in the bedroom. Perhaps they forgot to stock kitchen paper napkins or maybe they are going green but… I’ll recommend this to anyone who wants a clean and comfortable stay.

The resort was beautiful, clean , and in the center of everything. I enjoyed Casa Roots restaurant however it’s not in walking distance so a cab is recommended. Also they’re only 3 options of restaurants on the property to eat and their hours vary . I enjoyed the Antigua breakfast at Salt Plage the best . Sandals resort is next door however in order to eat at their restaurants you have to purchase a day pass and I don’t know how much that is. Don’t get suckered I’m to paying for beach chairs . The resort has free ones if you get out early , they are white . Overall I was very pleased with my stay , check in and check out were smooth . The staff was friendly and helpful . I will be back

This is a splendid, peaceful property with a perfect stretch of beach in front of it and a beautiful pool in the courtyard. The room had all that we wanted or needed, housekeeping was excellent and unobtrusive, the gardens a joy, the kitchen very well equipped. Highly recommend.
