Great location, nice clean rooms, pretty decent gym, very friendly staff.

The only complaint was the breakfast was very lackluster. No protein options like meat or eggs. Just oatmeal, three types of cereal (Cheerios, corn flakes, and granola), and some different types of breads.

The breakfast was good, rooms were clean, staff was kind. I was there for the Boston marathon and they had snacks/water for the runners. It was very thoughtful. They also kept coffee and tea in the lobby. The location is also excellent with the train right by the hotel. Just wonderful. Would stay at again.

Having continental breakfast is always a plus but this one was truly nothing special. For healthy and protein conscious eaters, there were not a lot of options. Staff was great! Great location. Very easy to get to Boston locations.

Despite looking like something out of a MC Escher starting, this hotel is comfortable, and the lack of external windows on the lower levels makes each room dark and perfect for a good night's sleep.

Good selection of breakfast items, and all day coffee provided.

We loved the spaciousness of the one bedroom suite. Was my husband’s office for a few days. We also made use of the large
lobby area with various seating options. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The location was ideal as it was walking distance to many places. We found late night dining at Coolidge corner after we arrived which is just an easy ten minute walk. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall I’d give our stay a 3 out of 5, and I feel like that would be generous. I ALWAYS read reviews, but made the mistake of not reading theirs beforehand because a friend had already booked there. While I don’t mind that the rooms are small, the double bed photos on the website are misleading and look larger than they are. The Chromecasting did not work. There was mold / discoloration on the bathroom ceiling and no working vent. The air control also did not work and left our room at 75 degrees all night, resulting in poor sleep. I called the front desk at 2AM and they said they’d get somebody there during morning work hours, no one ever showed. The only saving grace were the two box fans the brought us. The stairwell also smelled horribly. The breakfast was also terrible; it was bread, bread, and more bread with slices of white and yellow sandwich cheese. Absolutely insane when they want to charge over $200 / night.

The room fit the bill for a night of sleep. The window in the room overlooked a walkway between the room and the toilet seat would not stay up because it was too far under the counter and you had to climb over the toilet to get in the shower, but other than that it was fine. Room was clean and the air conditioning worked great.

Breakfast was pretty picked over an hour after opening, we requested sheet and blankets for pull out but they never came after 2 calls, hard to get shower to work, but they did come to fix it, front desk staff was friendly and very helpful

The hotel is very clean, and the staff is helpful and nice. The room is spacious, but the shower does not have an incline nor a step so the water runs all over the tiled floor until the carpet in the room. The breakfast that is included is just cereal, coffee, and bread. They have a parking garage that charges $38 a night.

The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is across the street from the C line train so everything is 10-20 minutes.

They gave me a room with no AC. Called front desk and was told maintenance would not be able to check it till 7am the next day (understandable) but they offered box fans, because they didn’t have another room available. It was marathon day/week so I understand. But it was like 4am no box fans, next day in the morning, 10am no box fans and no maintenance. I called front desk again, explained all again because of course it was not the same person that I spoke to prior. To my surprise, the order was never put in!! Almost 2 days with no ac and it was hard to sleep. I’m never booking with them again.

Busy marathon weekend. Breakfast is just bagels, cereal and a few extras, nothing special . Rooms are small and dark. Little in the way of amenities: a single plastic cup was provided! Staff are friendly and helpful when needed. Hotel is right on the T, so great location for getting into city. Brookline is a nice area.

Stayed at The Arcadian for The Boston Marathon and ti was great. The location is excellent with a T stop directly across the street from the lobby. The hotel is on the C line with all Boston has to offer a few stops inbound. Brookline is a great little town with plenty of places to eat. The hotel is spotless and the staff was super friendly. Check in and check out were very easy and the staff held out bags before check in as we arrived a bit early so we went to the marathon expo. The only thing i have to say is the bathrooms can use the love. I fixed the chain on the toilet myself, not a big deal lol. Everything else about the room was great! (one bedroom suite).
Thanks for a great stay Arcadian.

The rooms are spacious but too dark. The main source of light is the window on the interior lobby so you have to choose between having enough light to read versus having everyone see you in your pajamas. I've never been in a hotel where they charge you $250 up front as an \"incidentals deposit\" after you've already paid the whole night's stay on Expedia, and don't give you the money back for another week. All the staff were nice and helpful, though.

The staff was nothing but helpful and kind. The overall vibe of the hotel was very nice and modern. The complimentary breakfast was fine. Unfortunately the first night of my stay they had me in a room that the door wouldn't close all the way. The lock did engage, but there was a slight gap. I was so tired from traveling that I didn't say anything because I just wanted to go to sleep and I assumed it was just due to the old hotel (as I saw some hints of damage in the bathroom/shower area). Well, I didn't get much sleep. Where my room was located was right next to a set of stairs and because of the gap in the door I could hear every single person walking up and down those stairs. So the next morning I said something to the front desk and they immediately sent someone from maintenance to my room. He found that my door frame didn't have a metal plate and that's why the door wouldn't close properly. They offered to move me to a different room right next door, but I thought that didn't make much sense. So the next night, with the door fully closed, I still couldn't sleep because all I heard was people going up and down the stairs all night. My advice is not to put people in the room right by the stairs. Overall though, the staff was nice, the hotel was beautiful, the proximity to Fenway was ideal.

I’ve stayed here at least eight times over the past four years while visiting my daughter during her college years. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the train station, a variety of nearby restaurants, and close proximity to BU.
Friendly staff always so accommodating. Migdalia at the front desk always greets w a smile and patience.

Enjoyed my stay, the staff were very helpful with how to get to the parking garage. They allow you to park before checking in and a little while after check out which made going to do other things much more enjoyable. Right next to a green T line stop which was very convenient, especially if you want to park then use the T to get around and save on costs.

They have townhouse rooms which have windows into the hallway, none to the outdoors. Odd, and would’ve liked to have that info before booking, but not a huge deal.

The garage parking wasn't explained well, because when I left I was stuck at the pay point that asked for my ticket that I handed to the front desk the day before. They said I wouldn't need it. So I inserted a card and a charge was displayed then the gate and garage door opened for me. I suppose the charges will be deducted from the $200 plus $31 that is charged at check in.

The room was amazing. If I go back I’m requesting the same room. I was an international guest ~ as we don’t have Google Chromecast and did not carry my Firestick we were unable to use the TV.

The staff were always helpful and had smiles on their faces.

Breakfast was blah. I would skip it in the future. I did not need parking but it seemed like for those that used it ~ it worked.

We also visited the gym. That was well kept and we would use it again.

Most things were adequate, but problem with the bathroom. It wasn't very clean and showed significant wear. Biggest problem was height of toilet. Seat was at most 13\" off of the floor. This made it difficult when sitting down and standing back up. Very uncomfortable.

Decent room and nice lobby area, but nothing \"luxury\" about it despite the hotel's description. Average free hotel continental breakfast, comparable to what you'd get at a Day's Inn, for example.

The biggest problem I have with the hotel is their billing.

Quiet pleasant hotel with great healthy breakfast, including many gluten free choices, which is much appreciated. Note that the mattresses might be too soft for some people with lower back issues. The gym is very nicely equipped and super clean. The front desk at check-in can be a little frustrating at peak times (between 3-5 pm).

The room we received was tiny and we had a kid with a broken foot so we had lots of handicapped gear that could barely fit. The rooms were dirty, the first room we received had actual garbage in it and towels everywhere. We were quickly switched out of that room but the next room was poorly cleaned as well. The gym was as lame as can be, the one stairmaster was broken. The breakfast was a poor mans continental. The pastries were nice but the eggs were only hardboiled. The fruit selection was so poor.

We stay at the Arcadian mainly due to the proximity to Fenway Park (1-mile walk). This stay wasn’t great, though. Started out with only 3 towels and 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 4 people…had to ask twice to get more. TV didn’t work properly, couldn’t change or turn off the alarm - everybody was woken up unexpectedly at 6 am the first morning. Coffee maker was weird with no instructions (but coffee available in the lobby, too). Not the worst experience ever, but definitely not the best. The convenient location is the Arcadian’s main selling point.

Everything was clean. Staff friendly. My only issue was the continental breakfast. At 9:15 they ran out of cream cheese and didn’t not restock breakfast items on a Sunday. I feel all items were basic should have been fully stocked. Everything else was great.
