The property is located in a beautiful part of Boston. It was very clean and we had all the amenities we required. The staff looked after us very well. We were travelling from Scotland to Boston to participate in the Boston Marathon and the property was perfectly located. We had 6 wonderful days in this property and I will definitely book it again the next time we return.

Our room was perfect for our needs and short stay. Comfortable, clean, in a great neighborhood near the Prudential T station, and a beautiful greenway for walking distances away from traffic. Plus. we found a great breakfast spot a few minutes’ walk away. Totally worth staying here, tucked away and still in the midst of everything.

It was a nice property overall, but I must point out a few items that might be of interest to others.
I was disappointed to learn that the actual property I would be staying in was 0.4 miles away, in a completely different building than the one whose charming facade was pictured in the advertisement.
It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which became tiresome during the 10 days I was there, especially if I had to return for something.
The room was nice but the walls were very thin - I was woken up once by revelers on the street below and heard almost every word of the next door neighbor's conversation. And when anyone clonked up and down the stairs, the sound (and conversation) was particularly intrusive (I wish guests would be asked not to converse in the hallway).
I had some difficulty getting the fan to provide white noise.
I had no room service for my 10 days in the property; this wasn't an issue for me (I didn't actually ask for room service) but it might be for others.
Although I booked the room through Expedia, I received an email 2 days before arriving that I had to pay in full 24 hours before arriving because of the Boston Marathon which I did, but could have potentially lost the booking had I not checked my email.
The television had way too many channels.
Sorry for the complaints.

Very impressed with this little gem. Stumbled upon this place in searching for an affordable hotel in the Back Bay area. Great price, super clean, cute and perfect for my kids and me. A four-minute walk to the Prudential Center and the cutest little (safe) neighborhood. Staff was great. The communication and the customer service was excellent. They texted me when our room was ready and we were able to enter without having to stop at the main office (which is in another building). It was a beautiful place with lots of old Boston charm. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Copley House!!!

Our family stay at Copley House was perfect! The room was spacious with all the amenities. Nice little kitchen area was perfect for morning coffee and tea.
The front desk was a short walk up the block and were ready to help with any recommendations we asked for about the area and things to do. This is the only place for our next stay this summer for our lovely 20 minute walk to Sox game at Fenway! Beautiful homes to walk by and area businesses!!! Thank you!!!

Clean room, very helpful staff. Bathroom was very small and being in a basement room felt a little gloomy so would probably choose a room on another floor. Some noise from footfall and other rooms but not too bad. Copley House is perfectly positioned for city centre and transport.

A favorite place to stay in Boston. Sweet location, close to the T, private, comfy, well-maintained and managed. Usually very quiet, though this particular stay was in a unit with thin walls/floors that allowed considerable noise that made it hard to sleep after housekeeping o'clock. Street and neighborhood are very quiet.

Great location. Parking availability was an un anticipated need and they have parking available for a reasonable rate. The room was very clean. The sheets were excellent in quality/comfort. I stayed on the lower level of the Garrison Street location. The heated bathroom floor was amazing.Felt like there are a lot of minor maintenance issues that needed attention, which is why I didn’t give an “excellent”review. I didn’t feel like it was enough space for two people. So I wouldn’t come back if I had a partner in tow. I couldn’t figure out how to work the conduct conduction stove top. But that was probably user error. But everything else was great. I’d come back if I was coming alone.

We loved our stay at the Copley House. Our room was spacious, quaint and very comfortable. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The bed was large and comfy, the kitchen quite good and the bathroom was upgraded and lovely. The staff was very helpful and printed some documents for us for a meeting we were attending. So appreciated!

There is a wonderful mall just steps away with great shopping and restaurants.

Our stay could not have been better, and we highly recommend as a GREAT value and place to call home while visiting Boston.

Very pleasant accommodation in an excellent location. Comfy beds. Beautiful quiet block. Plenty of space for 3 people with convenient kitchenette, dining table and couch. Great shower pressure and hot water. Office staff was responsive and helpful with our needs, including printing out some personal forms we needed. There are a few things worth mentioning that folks should know about but are not deal breakers at all. First - the room floor could use a damp mopping as the kitchen floor was pretty dirty when I ran a paper towel across it. The kitchen was fine but the refrigerator door was not closing well and it would have been helpful to include a dish rack for drying dishes or at least a dish towel. The room was sufficiently clean but the room could use a dusting or wipe down of furniture and walls and window sills every so often. We noticed cigarette butts inside the window sill. And lastly, you should be aware that Copley House consists of several properties within a few blocks radius of the main building at 239 W Newton. You will not know which property you are assigned to or where you should park until 24 hours prior to check in. To avoid any last minute surprises or scrambles while you are en route, make sure you check the details of your check in advance of checking in so you are not caught off guard and end up at the wrong property or have to secure a discounted parking voucher at the last minute. Just a heads up, that's all. We'd definitely stay there again.

The property is spotless. My queen superior studio with sofa bed was small but reasonably comfortable. The suggested parking garage is valet which I dislike. I used the Midtown Hotel garage instead. Safe and covered. Expensive though. Walked and used the subway for my entire stay. Driving in downtown Boston is a huge hassle and I don’t recommend it for getting around. The room only had 2 flaws: the smoke detector was missing and a ceiling cover for an old no longer used fire sprinkler was coming off.
Pros:
1. Excellent and safe location in the historic Back Bay district of Boston. Location is excellent for shops and restaurants. 8 minute walk to Hynes convention center. T stop (subway) is right round the corner.
2. Reasonably priced.
3. Clean and freshly renovated property. The building itself is circa 1880’s.
4. Secure electronic locks and cameras.
5. There is a Mac computer available for guest use though we didn’t we need it.
6. Furnished kitchen including mini range, microwave, Keurig, toaster oven. They even provided several K-cups.

Cons:
1. You can hear the neighboring room and when someone ignores laundry time (9am-9pm; washer and dryer are are in the hall).
2. Bathroom is tiny.
3. You will wake up on Monday morning when trash pick up occurs at 5:45am.
4. Parking can be a hassle and expect to walk your luggage a block or more to your room. You cannot block the street to unload out front. Street parking is limited to permitted residents and a few 2 hr meters

The location is amazing! It's just 3 blocks from the Boston Public Library & Trinity Cathedral, 2 landmarks worth seeing. It is located in a brownstone with charming rooms that feature fireplaces (not in use) & convenient kitchenettes, all kept very clean. The staff is very helpful & instructions for self check-in are easy. However, if you are handicapped or have tons of luggage, t's a no-go because there is no elevator.

This was the perfect stay for a solo traveler. I rode the Logan Express from the airport into back bay for free. Copley House was a very short walk to and from the Logan Express stop. Super convenient location and walking distance from The Prudential Center. I didn’t have to Uber at all because everything was walking distance and I felt safe returning at night. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed during off peak season so the price for Boston was reasonable at the time. My main concern for the room was the walls seem to be paper thin. We can hear clear conversations from our bed although the bed was against the hallway and not another room. There were also staff working on the roof to clear the snow and were also talking loudly at 11am (reasonable time) and that added to just overall noise during our stay. Otherwise, the room has everything that I'd expect in a hotel in Boston for the price of our stay. I'd give this 3 stars but I added +1 because we arrived earlier than expected at 12pm and they let us check in our room early.
