The location was good, we found walkable places to eat at, check out Billy’s and get the pastrami sandwich. Room was clean and they were able to accommodate an early check in since we flew in on a red eye.

We had the bathroom down the hall and they were very very clean, never full, and we had all the bathroom amenities we needed, including bathrobes, towels, slippers, shampoo, etc. The room itself was spacious and as described, and had good natural light. The TV channels are plentiful. Theres also some small food amenities in the halls e.g. a water station with ice, and in basement there is a microwave and hot water with free tea and forks etc. The area is also super nice, the orange line T stop is literally like a 5 min walk away so super convenient too. Everything is close and I never ever felt unsafe in the area. Would highly recommend.

Amazing overnight stay in Boston, my 1st. No shortage of AWESOME hotels that are super accessible not only to transportation but also local businesses and food! But I'd be hard-pressed to choose any over The Revo! Not to mention the proximity to theaters, sites, and the Back Bay train station. Revolution is also in a nice quiet neighborhood that's great for pets and those that are diffently-abled. Lobby is warm and inviting, staff that's extra-friendly and helpful, and lots of cool art and offerings. Room was great- perfectly appointed, not to mention the affordability (think $142.00 for an overnight with noon check-out...right? Can't say enough. Super walkable to public transportation. A dream for working travellers. Join the Revolution;)

I had a fantastic stay at The Revolution Hotel in Boston. The vibe is eclectic and artsy while still honoring the city’s historic character—it truly feels unique and memorable. The hotel is spotless and perfectly located, just a short walk to Boston Common and close to everything you’d want to see.

What really sets this place apart is the staff. Every interaction was exceptional—from thoughtful recommendations and clear directions to patiently explaining the transit system. I even had an unusual request, and the GM went above and beyond to not only accommodate it, but greatly exceed my expectations.

I give this hotel my highest recommendation and would absolutely stay here again.

From the moment I entered through the front door the atmosphere was so refreshing! Great and unique decorations! The staff was super friendly and helped me right away. The room although small in size, was plenty and very clean and welcoming! And I loved their coffee shop and the Mexican restaurant on the premises! I love that they have a speakeasy and a workout room downstairs. I am absolutely staying there again!

The whole hotel was spotless, the rooms and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, we moved the robe and slippers provided. Restaurant on property had very good food and drinks. Coffee soup on location was decent. Staff was extremely kind. Location was perfect, easy to get to navigate from. Great value, well definitely stay again.

Four bathrooms to share with a whole floor. Often not clean or missing towels. They gave mea room by the elevator and it was so loud. Most of the people talking loud were staff talking on their phone or with each other early in the morning while people are trying to sleep. One elevator only was working and every time I tried to get on it was taken over by staff.

Good points- the hotel was in a great location. It’s very stylish and comfortable and the staff are very helpful and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived we only had one wash bag per room when we needed 2 in each, however, the reception team arranged for the necessary towels etc to be delivered the rooms. The bathrooms were very clean and always available so there was no wait.
Down points- on the first night when we were going to bed the blind fell off in the daughters’ room. The maintenance team did fix it promptly but it was a pain as we were tired after travelling and wanted to go to bed. The same night part of our tv fixture fell off and woke us up. Our room was located next to the bathroom section so was regularly woken in the night by flushing toilets and maintenance that took place at 3am one morning. Definitely could done with some ear plugs!
Overall would recommend.

Great hotel. Great staff. They are out front about some of the rooms not having a bathroom but that was no problem. Aside from the bathrooms being very accessible, there are 5 on each side of the building, total of 10 and the staff is very quick to go clean them as soon as somebody has use them. It was not an inconvenience at all. Each bathroom allows you to have your own privacy with towels and bathrobe included, and many other details that made it as convenient and comfortable as it could be. The beds are comfortable and the linens are clean. There’s a coffee shop and a restaurant and bar literally inside the lobby. Great trip, would book again 10/10 great experience

I stayed in a loft on the side of the main hotel, and it was extremely spacious with all the amenities I needed. It was definitely worth the price, especially given the beautiful area it’s located in. I didn’t interact much with the staff, but the few interactions I had were very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean. You can tell it’s been renovated, but they did a very nice job. Overall, the experience was great. The front desk was very helpful. I was not able to check in early, but they helped my luggage while I went to explorer city until my room was ready, and they also held my luggage when I was leaving. Due to my late flight, I still wanted to go and explore, but not carry around my luggage all day and they were helpful in storing it until I could return. The hotel is located in a great area within the city. My only complaint was that because I stayed during the weekend at times the bar located on the ground floor was a little bit too loud, but it wasn’t too disruptive and I was still able to get a proper sleep. If you are planning to take the subway or public transportation while you’re there is located in a great area where the subway station is only about a 15 minute walk away. And there are local bus stops about 10 minutes away. It’s not located directly in downtown, but you’re close enough to downtown where you can walk and enjoy things such as the public library as well as the Boston Park. Overall completely enjoyed my stay if I were to ever go back again I would definitely stay here. Also, I booked a room that had a shared bathroom. Honestly, I do not have any complaints. The bathroom was always clean. They’re always towels there and the showers look spotless. I stayed in the king bedroom by myself, but I do think it’ll be great for a couple as well.

The good: excellent location, easy to walk to center Boston and to local coffee shops.

The bad: the hotel is full of students; noisy; and the Spy Bar is right below the hotel - with DJ party every weekend. It's more similar to a hostel rather than a hotel.

Overall it is ok for one night. But not for staying long-term.

I chose this hotel last minute, we had an emergency in the family that needed us to stay in the Boston area. Reserving was easy, and the price totally reasonable, ESPECIALLY due to the last minute nature of the reservation.
Beautiful hotel, with a lovely coffee shop in the lobby! The room was spacious, clean, and fully stocked-we got a kitchenette!
Every employee we dealt with was helpful, polite, and fantastic to talk to!

The vibe and convenience itself was perfect, loved the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly. They are also very accommodating. The shared bathrooms were pretty clean too had no issues with it. It was our first time in a shared bathroom situation and they were almost always clean and stocked. They do get very busy in the morning though but we always found an open clean one. It felt safe and clean for the most part. I’m giving it a 2 stars because we woke up with blood stains on our bed and some red bites on our arms. The hotel itself said they did an inspection and found nothing. This was our first time ever having a bite or something like that so of course we were scared. The hotel assured us that it was not on them, maybe just maybe we got it from the T or a bus? Who knows… If it wasn’t for that everything else would’ve been perfect!

Honestly would probably stay here again!!

This was good for a quick stay. The single room was small, but comfortable and had everything you’d need in a hotel. The only problem I had was with parking. Although it is mentioned that there is no parking lot, I was not aware that my only feasible option was staying in a parking garage for an additional $35 (a night).
