I was told by staff that the hotel is an older building. Also, I was told the air conditioner couldn’t be turned on at this time because the building is operating on heat. The suggestion from staff was to open the window until the room cooled off. Unfortunately, that made sleeping at night extremely uncomfortable because of the street noise. I picked the Hilton because of the big chain name. I will never do that again and I will never stay at this hotel again.

My only complaint has more to do with Expedia than the Hilton. I expressly chose this hotel because according to Expedia, there was a pool onsite. When I checked in, I was informed that there was no pool on the property, and the pool HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER 10 YEARS!!!! I was also informed that the Hilton management had tried on numerous occasions to correct this misinformation to no avail. This was a huge disappointment and put a pall over the entire stay. If the information had been updated properly, I would have chosen a different property that actually had a pool on the grounds.

I reserved a room with 2 beds, They gave me ONE and said my son could sleep on the sofa. It wasn't sofa bed, just a half sofa. There were also Bodily fluids found on the sheets and makeup on the pillows. OMG horrible

We had a terrible experience. We were not told of the Construction taking place until we checked in. The manager said there was not notification on the website when I looked. It was there, but it all said construction happening in the lobby area. Nothing about Construction in the rooms. We were also told that Construction starts at eight and typically ends by two we shouldn’t experience too much noise. They put us in a room where the flooring was being torn out. It literally sounded like they were coming through our floor and this started at 6 AM. I called and complained. We had to move rooms. their service recovery was a free breakfast voucher however our new room housekeeping was vacuuming that evening at 11 PM. We were in town for a volleyball tournament so nobody got any sleep when I complain to the manager he did not care at all his service recovery was to give me Hilton points, which I’m still waiting on. It’s been a week if you staffed that I did interact with however was very helpful. Very nice. I do think when the renovations are done the hotel will be quite lovely but I hope they get a manager. That actually gives a crap because this one did not.

No breakfast! Only option was $50 breakfast (coffee, old dry pastry basket and 1 egg , hashbrowns) for $50!! Under construction. Was hard dealing with parking. Uber was confusing as 2 enetries to the hotel. The updated room was beautiful!! My niece felt it was the best room she ever stated in!! Fancy.. but no real lobby. Close yo provential cenger. (Across the street). We ubered to house of blues. Was easy and not expensive. I would stay here again! My only real complaing was parking and they charhed my cardhold $185. And then hit me with a $35 resort fee for no amentieis!! What was that for?!?! To be able to by breakfast that was wayyyy over priced!! Sad. Hopefully they improve with their renovation!! I wohld check before staying if they have finished

The hotel is undergoing massive renovations, which was never disclosed in advance. The gym is closed. The bar is closed, etc. There are workers everywhere, and the smell and sounds of the construction are disruptive. Moreover, they didn’t honor the king corner room I had booked on Hotels.com and blamed your website for not sending in the correct info.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Our check in was smooth and the staff was friendly.
The amenities were all under renovation so you local competition received much of our business for food and entertainment. It would have been nice to know about this in advance so we could have planned accordingly. The temperatures were 0 degrees so we would have preferred not having to go elsewhere.
We love Hilton so you won't lose us over this!

Great, convenient location. Too bad they were under construction so there were naturally some things unavailable - not the end of the world. However only two elovaters available and there were a number of students staying at the hotel attending a conference which caused the elovaters to be tied up and waits to go to or from your room were pretty lengthy.

We stayed in a literal construction zone. No notice was given to us that the hotel would be under these conditions during our stay. We had to switch rooms twice. Once because the window was not sealed and there was a blizzard outside. The other because extremely loud construction was taking place on the floor above us and woke us up in the morning. At no point did any staff member apologize or try to take measures to improve our stay. Extremely disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend.

Loud, very loud, unbearingly loud construction noise right above our heads continuously started 8:30am on Fri and Sat, Our room was on 11th floor. We were not forewarned when booking. Front desk person was not helpful, said had no control over construction. It was our worst hotel experience!!!

Worst hotel stay ever. Booked in a room right below renovation construction. Very loud banging scraping drilling sanding we could not even hear ourselves speak. Resulting in little sleep horrible headaches and aggravated allergies. They made no offer of concession only to move my room which is an inconvenience even further. Many other patrons were also complaining for the same reason or worse some of them having no water. Completely unacceptable management practice to book people in the midst of Renovations that are that loud and disruptive.
I'll be doing my best not to book anything further with Hilton.

The property is undergoing renovations which made bar/evening dining unavailable and weekdays noisy, but the staff made extra efforts to accommodate all we needed. easy walk to back bay amenities and the T. We'd absolutely stay again

Check in was great. I'm tall, so I struggle with looking down at name tags. It feels awkward, especially if someone presents as female, I am a male. My check in attendant was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I appreciate them, but I didn't catch their name. Maybe at check there could be a nameplate? Or perhaps it's just me. Thanks!

Excellent hotel. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and loved the large closet--gave is extra space since we could store luggage in it. Very convenient location. We took advantage of walking through the Prudential mall to stay warm while being outside. We will definitely stay again.

We checked out on 12/30, and I am writing this on 1/5 after a full week of continued silence and failed follow-through.

During our 12-night stay, we experienced repeated breakdowns in housekeeping and basic communication. Requests were acknowledged and then ignored, and the property’s internal coordination appeared consistently dysfunctional.

After checkout, Leon, a front desk supervisor, apologized and explained that David (the General Manager) and Eriko were on vacation. Leon offered a refund of one third of the stay, but said it had to be initiated through Expedia and that the hotel would then confirm it. I initiated the request as instructed.

On 1/2, Expedia notified me that they had attempted multiple times to reach the hotel and no one responded, so the refund request was denied. This is completely consistent with our experience throughout the stay: promises made, then silence.

I notified Leon, David, Eriko, and Hilton Guest Assistance immediately after Expedia’s 1/2 message. As of 1/5, I have still heard nothing. Adding to the absurdity, neither David nor Eriko had out-of-office messages on their email, so there was no indication that guest concerns were being monitored or delegated in their absence.

The location is excellent, and the hotel has potential. Unfortunately, that potential is being squandered by what appears to be a culture of exceedingly poor leadership, lax standards, and general incompetence. This is well below what one expects from the Hilton name.

From the moment we arrived, it was a bit of a letdown. I asked about the pool (the Hilton main page says the hotel has an indoor pool) and was told it is not in service. The hot tub seen in some of the photos has not existed in 15 years.
We checked in to a room on the 14th floor, and when we opened the door, we were met with a blast of hot air. The room was about 95 to 100 degrees. The climate control was set to 72 degrees, but the heat was blasting out of the unit non stop. I called the front desk and asked for a room change or a technician to service the unit. I was told no rooms were available, and to just \"shut off the climate control unit and open the window.\" The front desk told me \"if you get too cold, turn the heat back on.\" It took hours for the room to cool off enough to sleep, as the window only opens three inches. Every surface in the room was hot to the touch when we arrived. We spent two nights with the heat turned off. We went down to the restaurant to eat at around 8:30 PM, and were told that the restaurant only had the \"lunch menu\" available due to recent kitchen renovations. The bar couldn't make a mojito.
When we checked out after our second night, only one of the three elevators was functioning and every floor had groups of people waiting to enter the elevator.
For the price, it was a nightmare. I was charged for parking each night $69, and then the automated gate charged me an additional $114 that I had to pay with a card.

The hotel itself is okay, about what I would expect from a Hilton. That being said, the hotel has photos on Expedia that show a pool and a hot tub. They have NEITHER. Staff told me the hot tub hasn't been open in 15 years and the pool is being renovated.
When we got up to our room (14th floor) it was over 90 degrees in our room. The heat was set to 72 but it was running non-stop. I called the front desk and was told to \"open a window\" and \"turn the heat off.\" They could not send a technician and told me to \"turn the heat back on if the room gets too cold.\" They could not provide me with another room. Very surprised they could not provide functional climate control. Disappointed with the remedy I was offered.

Hotel was u Der extensive renovation and building work, heavy hammering and drilling started at 8am. The old window frames did not fit properly allowing icy cold air to blow into the room with a loud whistling noise. Only 2 of the 3 elevators were working as builders were using the third and the bar in the lobby was boarded up and out of use for renovations- none of this heavy building work was warned on the Hotel’s.com website at the time of booking and made for an unpleasant, uncomfortable stay

Got pretty noisy at times with construction.
Woefully understaffed for breakfast. Poor single waiter had the whole restaurant for at least a half hour today. Manager tried to help, but got order wrong.
Would consider amenities and location (just off Rt 90 and on the red line) for another trip to Boston

Night 1 i woke up to no hot water and had to go to another room to shower before work. Night 2 and 3 i had loud construction near my room starting very early morning waking me up. Then i finally moved rooms and the final room had no heating or air conditioning, just a unit that only turned a fan on and off with no temperature impact. Very bad stay, the hotel should be fully closed if it is in this level of renovations/disrepair.

Room walls are black wall paper which makes the room very dark. I asked for another light, they said there were none. I asked to change rooms, they said they are all the same. The bathroom has a massive round mirror with a fluorescent light around the edge. The light is too bright to stand in front of and is the opposite of the rest of the hotel room. I left the bathroom mirror light on with the door open to illuminate the hall. I'm serious when I say it's a dark room.

Lobby is being remodeled so be aware. Breakfast and dinner only, no lunch. People are friendly overall but, no bell staff. It does not feel like a full service hotel.

I asked the front desk for change so I could leave a cash tip for housekeeping. They said they are cashless so I had to go around the corner to a local store.

Its a great location, very walkable.

Entire hotel was spotless, including outdoor areas, staff was very welcoming and helpful with directions when we missed the parking entrance, beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Towels were plentiful and soft. Room lighting was odd, very dark in the room, but one of the bathroom lights was much too bright. Parking garage onsite was awesome. Would definitely stay here again.,

Room was large and spotless. I did see something at the front desk that bothered me though. Someone had checked out of a room and wanted to leave a tip for the cleaning staff. He handed some money to a reception member to give to a specific roomand she gave to another person and said - do what you want with it. That wasn't right. Not sure what the fellow did but her comments were overheard and not something I wanted to hear.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. We liked the restaurant for breakfast. I didn't give five stars because one of my party needed a handicapped-accessible room, and the Hilton's was sub-par. The only grab bar for the john was behind it so that they had to twist around to access it. The tub also had a grab bar in the back and none along the side wall, so there was no way to safely get over the tub edge, which was tall. Despite many lamps the rooms tended to be dim because of the dark decor... cozy for me, but an issue for my relative who has mild sight problems. Overall we had a good stay but I wouldn't advise this for handicapped folks.

A 600 no. I felt the rates were artificially inflated. I usually only stay at the Hilton Back Bay when I come to Boston. I ended up spending like 600 with parking for 1 Monday night and the hotel didn't have the appearance of being that busy and it has no restaurant or room service. Even the trash cans in the rooms had no liners so the trash would just pile up on the floor and I had someone above me who was noisy.

I felt a few of the patrons were a bit rude and I'm from Boston.

I don't know that I will book this location again. At those prices.

Ben who works at night was helpful in setting up an early check in via the Hilton Honors app. Early check in was 100. Very helpful coming in off a red eye.

I know there are , yet seemed kinda extreme for accommodations and then parking on top added 100 a night. Reserved a kind room and gott put into a double-double room. The temperature in my room was 98 degrees because the AC didn’t work. I had to sleep in my car. I asked the staff and they told me to shut my heat off. Then, after five minutes of wasted conversation, they admitted that the AC was broken. Toilet didn’t flush and backed up. Horrible stay!!!

Checki was ok. They failed to mention with my reservations i get free bfast and i could use food voucher for any meals duribg my stay. But again, didn't tell me its only a $10/day credit. We didn't use any voucher. Room waa a corner room but no access to small baloney as it was closed off. Shower had a showerhead that had waa placed awkwardly and ww has to stoop to use shower. Water pressure waa sub-par.

The hotel seemed good on first impression, but within a day our toilet stopped working, they did get someone up to fix it but at the next flush it was back to not working. They moved rooms for us but I soon noticed that the shower head in the new room was broken, again it was fixed within a couple of days. We were there for 11 nights and housekeeping was every day but I noticed that the dusting was not being done and on occasion the room was not vacuumed. The coffee/tea/milk for the machine in the room was not restocked regularly and we had to keep asking for milk. The one positive is that it is close to all you could need while staying in Boston.
