It’s a budget hotel so there aren’t many amenities, the desk setup isn’t great for remote work. The AC doesn’t work very well despite me speaking with the front desk and their technician looking at it. The best part of the hotel is how friendly the staff is, they were amazing.

The hotel has all basic services, is clean, breakfast is offering for convenience for a prices of 7 euros per person. Recommended not to purchase the breakfast unless you don’t have time to go to another local restaurant because you have a early flight. Parking is complementary which is good. Towels need to be better are very small towels in the bathroom. This is a convenient hotel for couple day if you visit Porto.

This property is not fancy but is very clean and nice. No coffee maker or fridge in the rooms but you can ask the staff to keep food in the hotel fridge if you need it. The breakfast buffet (can be purchased separately) has good options for almost everyone. The staff are very nice and helpul. We recommend this hotel for a good night sleep for tourists who are exploring the city and visiting tourist spots during the day.

As all Ibis, this is is a good hotel to have a clean space to spend the night and a nice breakfast. Nice deco, clean, new. It seems ideal for business trips if you are based around the area, for tourism it is a bit out of the town but having a car makes it very easy to get there and spend the day. The motorway around is a bit confusing so you need to get used to it.

Difficult to access as the hotel is located off the highway and access via steep ramp up from the clover interchange - street lights were not lit and if you miss this slip road - yoy need to go back to the highway and make a big turn. Suggest the hotel put a big lighted sign board at the slip road. There arec 2 Ibis there - make sure you go to the Correct IBIS Hotel.

We always use Ibis Porto Gaia wether its for a couple of days wandering around Porto or as a night stay before or after catching a flight.

I had four bad nights of sleep as a result. The beds are better in the Ibis - not the Ibis Budget - that's what you get for choosing a budget version .....

Tiny box, hard bed. No kettle or fridge. Shower is a cubicle with a transparent door in the room so no privacy if you want it. Towels the size of kitchen towels and the same thickness. Toilet in room with flimsy door so you share all bodily functions and sound effects. Very isolated and long walk down the hill not to mention up. You have to take breakfast there unless you have a car. It's not budget because you don't get much for your money. Made a mistake booking here.

As you can imagine rooms in europe are very small, the room I chose had all the facilities and was very clean, staff was ok, the guy from the morning was very kind the girl in the night not so much but nothing you can't handle. Just keep in mind that this is europe and the room is really small

Once you learn how to get there by No 902 bus it is easy to get to (I would not like to have to drive there!). The hotel would be fine for partners but the rooms are too intimate and cramped for 2 people who need some privacy showering etc. the staff, room cleanliness etc are very good, but next time I would opt for the adjacent \"economy\" grade IBIS

This hotel room is very small and very basic. The towels are small and thin and you are not even provided a hand towel! There isn't a single cup or glass to have a drink of water. Unfortunately we were there for six days and we were only given two small bars of soap for the first four days. We needed to purchase a towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap and glasses. But the worst part is the lack of room to get around with suitcases and no place to put your deodorant, etc. the only place to sit is a cheap, plastic stool. Only stay here if your only concern is saving money on your hotel because it was inexpensive.

Needed to accommodate 15 people for 1 night at a cheap rate and this was perfect. Solid and basic but very clean and quiet. Previous ratings give this hotel a big thumbs up and i agree. I also used the more update neighbouring IBIS hotel for eve meal and for a few drinks.

Check in & out were easy. The room is very clean but small, has a stool & tiny table with lots of floor space.
Bathroom is big with shower only (our request) & a folding chair. It looks like a hospital bathroom. It has no electrical outlet or a hair dryer. Bathroom light is on motion sensor. It will turn off after 2 minutes if it detects no big motion.
Our room is a wheelchair accessible room. The biggest problem is that there is only one electrical outlet in the room plus one that is used for the tv. We had to unplug the tv to use the outlet & somehow tied our device to the tv cable to charge our device. There is a long mirror in the room but far away from any outlet. We asked why there was no outlet in the bathroom; we were told because the room is for wheelchair accessible. We told the staff that a person on wheelchair also needs to or can dry her hair, the staff just shrugged his shoulder. We asked for an extention cord, the hotel had none and we were offered adaptors which we didn't need.
Staff was helpful but spoke very basic English. So, it was difficult to ask detail questions or explanations.

I really loved my stay at this hotel! I definitely would give it more than just a star. Everything was perfect, beginning from the room, through bathroom and breakfast. We booked this hotel only for the fact that it said it had 3 single beds and paid more on the website for the option for a bigger room and not to have 2 beds and a bunk bed.
When we got to the hotel after many hours driving and saw it was not what we booked and showed them in reception they agreed we were right and booked a different room but they didn't care \"not my problem\" is all the girl kept saying what should I do. Provide the service we paid for would help very unhelpful staff!

I'm a big fan of IBIS Budget hotels - you get a basic standard at a very reasonable rate. The wifi connectivity was super as weel.

The hotel is an amazing quality for the price that you pay. Conveniently located, seemingly brand new, super clean and everything from the bed, internet and bathrooms worked, which when traveling on a budget is not always the case. In addition the bed was super comfy, there was AC, everything really worked well. Once again, when budgeting that is not always the case.

Excellent location 5 minutes away from winery cave
We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. Hotel is very clean and spacious for European hotels. Room was 35€ and breakfast was 3.50€. Breakfast is just ok. Toasts, juices, yogurt, meat, cheese and coffee. Staff very helpful. 5 minute drive to the winery caves. Taxi cost us between 5-7€ one way. I would definatly stay here again :)

Clean and modern room. Nice hot shower. If you have ever been on a Cruise and stayed in standard room, then you know what to expect. Small but efficient. Plenty of space for luggage under the bed. Internet connection excellent. Rooms were quiet and seemed soundproof despite highway nearby.

We got the room for a great rate and thought that it being situated in Villa Novo de Gaia we would be close to the port wine lodges. Sadly the website didn't mention that the only way to get to and from the hotel is by car/taxi since it is surrounded by highways. A Bit of a walk to town
Beds a bit hard, and the walk to town is far but great to do as you get to see the real life of the area. it is on the other side of the river from the old town but walking across the bridge is great. close to the moter way. you can always get a taxi back from town not that expensive. perfect for us for two nights and a typical ibis hotel. good service.
