We could see the effort made to clean. But still we found mold in the fridge, window, wall etc. The drawers were not clean. So we didn't even open to use it. Toilet seat was coming off. Cold water tap was not working in the washbasin. White bed sheets and pillows looked neat. There were loud voices and moving sounds of tables and chairs even in the midnight and early morning hours like 1-2 am. This place has great potential if cleaned well and maintained.

Property was close to where we wanted to be. Beds were clean and fresh. Some maintenance issues in both rooms - ceiling fans were either like cyclones or hardly moving, only one bedside lamp was working in one of the rooms.Some attention to detail re cleaning was needed - old soap left behind, dirty cup in sink.

Restaurant wasn't open. Thats the reason I picked that place. Room wasn't set up with TV. Bath damaged needs to be replaced. Photos in adds are misleading. Place need extensive work.

We have made bookings with your company for many years and were shocked at the condition of this Motel. A patch in the base of the bath tub,pillows washed but stained.Smoke alarm wrapped up in a Cole’s bag. Window had security on it but unfortunately the glass window wouldn’t close over it. I think they are trying to make it nice but I am 81 years old and we left there at 2.00am as the noise and talking from outside our window was unbearable.

This property is kot suitable for anyone to stay at. Our room had been double booked, so the lady on the front desk opted to put us into another family room (the only plus about our stay). We checked in, and had to walk through a hallway full of furniture and cigarette smoke to get to our room. Our room smelled of cigarettes, hot water did not work, the lights in the 2nd bedroom didnt work, the tv did not work. We were warned that paedophiles and drug users lived in the hotel so we should keep a close eye on the children at all times. We did not feel safe. We checked out after staying 1 out of 4 nights. The front desk agreed to refund our money, but will not respond to wotif.

Our room was not ready until 2 hours after check in time, washing machines didnt work, clutter all through walkway to room, people partying outside room, dogs in rooms and in gardens, very noisy. Light not working in bedroom. Remote for tv not working. No one in reception, had to keep calling a mobile number for any assistance. Wi fi did not work either.

This is by far the worst motel I have stayed in in my life. There is no resort feel here apart from the center pool which we dared not enter. The rooms are not maintained. Just check out the pictures! Cockroach right next to the microwave. The shower head also spays water sidewards as a bonus feature which wets the toilet and the rest of the bathroom. The bed rolls around on the tiled floor. The bath towels are so thin they remind me of a mini camping towel. They need to up their game. I will be seeking a full refund. We were also woken up at 3am by the restaurant staff talking loudly outside our window. Avoid at all costs.

Arrived at the property and there seemed to be people living there full time as there were kids toys, dog in a pen and the place had a dirty feel. Rusty railings, chewing gum on the tiles, dirty walking areas and people smoking. The place Definitely does not look like the photos, where the place is clean and gleaming. Ended up staying elsewhere as we had a work vehicle full of tools etc. Sad really as we stayed there years ago and it was a perfect place. I do understand if people are living there due to accommodation shortage etc but people booking need to be aware and the photos need to be updated.

It was pleasant and close to shops, plus a restaurant on site. but the room was not well cleaned and the towels were tiny and well worn. and the lace curtains were filthy. Perhaps this is because there are new people owning the place and it needs a lot of work.

You get what you pay for

The accommodation was cheap and it was pretty clean but overall I wasn’t super impressed, the outside areas are pretty old and dated and look dirty and the furnishings, bedding bathrooms and rooms in general look pretty dated and the rooms aren’t very soundproof so you can hear a lot of activity going on outside. I guess you get what you pay for.

We booked with no advance payment but when we turned up the lady at the reception said sorry we canceled your booking. The email was sent whilst we were driving ( who the hell on earth who is responsible would check emails whilst driving). The receptionist lady then said we can find a room for the night, then 2 nights, then 30 minutes later she phoned and said you can have your original booking which was 4 nights. To top that all up the bed wasn’t in a reasonable condition as my other half was obviously heavier than I am his side sank down therefore I have to used cushion to barricade myself from rolling down to my other half side. We put out the signage that we wanted the bed made and towels changed none of those was done. After 3 days my partner when to see the receptionist for a clean towel. Rubbish on the garden bed. Five nights of our stay with out the bedding’s being changed, floor vacuum etc

For Budget Travellers only.

This place is an old motel that has been partly refurbished.
Its functional but very basic and probably best suited to an overnight stay.
If you,re normally paying $200-250 per night, this is not the place for you.
Its priced in the budget range and to be honest, we only stayed here as there was nothing else available in cairns for those dates. The manager and the staff were pleasant and the property was kept clean and tidy.

The little things.

This a very good budget motel and the on site chinese restaurant food is excellent however a few little things need attention such as shower curtains, taps etc. Need a good handyman and high bathtubs could be replaced with \"walk in showers\" however maybe the last year occupancy rates ancd turnover have not been so good.

I love this place. I stay here everytime I have a night out. The beds are comfy, it's always clean and tidy.
The convenience of the restaurant is wonderful and the food is to die for. My husband and I tell everyone it's the best restaurant in Cairns.

Stayed here twice now. First time 6 nights and then 2 nights. Very friendly staff, very accommodating and keen to help out with anything required. Lots of undercover parking with sealed surface. Rooms a little dated but very clean and neat and more than adequate even for a longer stay. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Very reasonable pricing. Most furniture and fittings need repairs or replacement. Our bed was creaky and old and slid out of position most of the time. Smokers could still smoke just outside non- smoking rooms and our room was always filled with smoke smells. Outdoor smoking areas must be out of reach to non smoking rooms.

Bedroom is large and would be suitable for a stay of a few days as you could spread your luggage and belongs out.
Check in after 6pm is difficult as the front desk closes at 6pm requiring you to ring a number so that someone can come down to the check in counter.

It was a very comfortable place to stay. I was in Cairns by myself visiting family and so used the accommodation as a place to retreat to and sleep. It served my purposes very well it was well priced and value for money with basic food preparation items such as cutlery microwave as well as toaster and electric jug

Good little motel just outside of town. Clean and friendly managers. Only downfall the cleaners start very early with cleaning rooms..like 7am and a lot of banging and yelling across the corridor, so if you want to sleep in it wont happen. We went over a weekend so not good when you get woken up that early in the morning.

Clean, quiet, convenient, only 100 meters from the bus stops. When I found out that I left the belt purse containing my passport, mobile phones, cash, and credit card on my bed inside the room while I was in the gondola to the rain forest, I was panic. I called Esa of the hotel, she calmed me down by letting me know that she would put the purse in the safe. What an outstanding guest service!
