Arriving was tricky. The owners close the front desk sbout 6 p.m., and since my transportation to Cairns arrived about that time, I had to make arrangements with management. That proved difficult without an Australian phone number, so I had to quickly get an eSIM. Fiinal arrangements were made, but turned out to be incorrect. Fortunately, I arrived Ameities expected at most hotels were not included in the apartment: no bathroom soap, shampoo, or conditioner (fortimate;y I had some of my own).
In sum, this property is managed more as an apartment complex than as a hotel, though it is very convenient to downtown, especially the train station. That's what formed my choice, and I did enjoy downtown Cairns, though it seemed a little sleepy in the evening.
