This hotel is due for a major renovation. The heating/air in the room rattled constantly even while trying to sleep. It was a loud noise like a washing machine spinning. The bed and bath appeared to be clean; however, when checking the corners, under the bed and behind the night tables it was filthy. There aren't any vending machines so you go to a snack \"window\" and tell the check-in staff what you want. You could not switch channels with the remote. You had to enter the channel number to go to another channel. Not a good experience at all.

Nice room, though all the lighting is on the wall opposite the desk, making it difficult to work at the desk. Comfortable bed. However the windows are not that soundproof, so you can hear the highway and the planes. Not so loud that you can't talk, but it kept me awake for half an hour. For a Marriott, I was a little disappointed. The airport shuttle was confusing. The driver said it left the hotel every hal hour, but when I called in from the hotel I was told I had to request it.

Great location when flying out of Charlotte airport. Free airport shuttle that run every half hour and park for $10.00 a day or $50 for a week…. Much more convenient than airport parking and a bonus when flying away for 7 days…

Front desk didn't tell us at check in that we weren't getting the king bed room that we reserved--stuck with two doubles instead. They couldve saved us the trouble of going up to the room and then coming back down bc we thought there was a mistake. So basically disappointed, and annoyed. Just be upfront, acknowledge mistake and offer a discount or something. Good customer service and honesty is not that difficult.

The hotel room was clean and spacious. It had two chairs for sitting and a comfortable bed. The restaurant had good food and excellent wait-staff. The shuttle was on time, but there were more passengers than seats, so I took an Uber. That really didn’t pose a problem as the Uber was 5 minute wait.

I absolutely love this hotel The front desk and housekeepers were very nice and helpful. The hotel was well kept and in a good location just minutes from the airport. If you are in town for a game it is close to Bank of America stadium and the Spectrum Center which are both downtown.

My flight was delayed so I unexpectedly had to pick a hotel to stay. I am so glad I chose this one. It is close to the airport. The shuttle was there when I walked out. I was checked in within 5 minutes and then went to the restaurant where I had a delicious meal. The decorations throughout the hotel were very pretty and I felt relaxed after a seven hour flight delay.

I encountered insects, including large moths on the walls, even one cockroach on the bedding. Showed pictures to the staff but got no reaction. Room services start early and were very noisy that disturb sleeps. Service is merely polite, not feeling welcoming or caring. For a hotel with this star rating, I expected more.

Old and dated rooms, needs a very good vacuum and face lift. The corridor was very dirty. Our neighbour's TV and chatting kept us up, as the rooms are not sound proof. Staff are great, room service food was ok. Only good thing was the convenient location to the airport for a quick stop over.
