There were no curtains in the room. There were a lot of lights around the property, making it impossible to sleep. The walls were dirty, but the bed was comfortable.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. Black hand prints on the wall, burn holes in all the blankets, mold growing on the AC, hair on the toilet (not head hair), sticky black substances on the carpet, marijuana smell in our room. Dirt on the walls, left over trash. Went to get my deposit back and explained the room was dirty, the night shift desk worker offered no apologies just acted very rudely because I asked for my money back. We didn’t even stay in the room 5 minutes!

My husband and I were both cut above our ankles by a the bed rail; my husband’s wound being more extensive. The front desk did not offer first aid. I had to clean them with just soap and water. We are both swollen in the area. Very sketchy people in and out all times of night, the light fixture didn’t work above the mirror to get ready for the day. Oh, and the toilet backed up on the last night, with no one to help. The sweet lady that does breakfast went up to fix it. She was a joy! Breakfast was good, room was clean. Will not be going back!

The location was very convenient to downtown, at a reasonable price. The room was neat and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Also had a nice hot shower with great water pressure. For breakfast, I had a sausage link and what looked like a patty version of a scrambled egg---two of them---which tasted pretty good.
They also had some mini muffins and the option to make fresh waffles---which I did not try--since I need to avoid wheat when possible. They also had the option of juices, coffee, & tea. I would have liked to see some fruit options....not sure if they offer that, but did not see any. The staff was very nice, and the parking area was well lit at night---easy to get in and out of as well.

I will not come back too stay. I had ti ask for an iron and board. It was not in the room. Then I had to ask for a bucket for ice which there was none. I was given a bag. There was holes in the comforter. Overall stay was manageable but will not comeback.

This property is filty, the staff is very unprofessional, the room is very dirty and smelled of mildew. The carpet in the halls and room is visible old and dirty, it smelled. The breakfast was a choice of bread or waffles only. The people hanging aroymd the property looked questionable and homeless and smelled like it too. This is overall the WORSE hotel i have ever stayed. SHAME IN EXPEDIA FOR HAVING THIS HOTEL ON THEIR SITE!!!!!

Management staff horrible. Harassment from the manger on duty the morning of Aug 9, very Unprofessional..I was fixing my hot breakfast and proceeded to cover up and go wash my hands manager attack me verbally assuming I was taking food to room..situation diffuse itself later I went to checkout manager brings up the issue again blaming me for taking food to room when clearly i didn’t. The manager began harassing me again stating that she was told I took the food upstairs. Once I prove that wasn’t the case she decided to change the tone in voice about the situation….it was a VERY bad experience of unprofessional and harassment I will never book at that place again!!!!

The room was extremely dirty and run down. There was a dead roach, stains on the walls and lamp shades, exposed wiring, a hole in the shower, leaky sinc, and many other issues. The staff said we could have a late check out but knocked on our door several times before the agreed upon check out time. Horrible experience!

picked this one with my son and friend because it advertised a pool. Pool looks like it had not been used in years. Property was run down, dirty, there were holes in the walls, halls and rooms smelled of smoke, broken furniture, tv had cracks in it, hairdryer almost caught on fire, microwave didn't work. The toilet overflowed on my son, maintenance brought plunger to unclog, left plunger I assume in case it clogged again I could unclog myself, I used every towel in the room to soak up water from toilet overflow, returned to room hours later all the toilet water soaked towels were still on the floor, had to remove them to the hall myself and go get fresh towels. Most of the staff was rude, with the exception of one or two.

This hotel is a dump. There was mold and grime around a slider door to the bathroom, which all look like a makeshift bathroom out of a closet and no handle to get out of the bathroom. It looks like they took a storage room and made it into a hotel room, but I didn’t see the other rooms to know for sure. There were two holes in the bathroom wall. There was no cable for the room telephone in case there was an emergency was not able to be used the wall hair dryer was broke and didn’t turn on the swimming pool was tarp down with cigarette, lighter and rocks thrown on the tarp, they were piles of cardboard boxes inside the exercise room that the door was locked, reminds me of a storage unit. The staff was not friendly acted like as if we didn’t exist walking in for the first time they had people hanging out in the common area, like as if they were friends with those people on a personal level, the breakfast was disgusting and cold, there was no toilet paper in the room and the only person that was friendly was the cleaning lady it is the nastiest hotel I have ever been to. It’s the only hotel that was the nastiest I’ve ever been to.

This hotel was very close to our concert. It was clean and very affordable. Sabrina was a great employee to have there at the time. She was very nice . The pillows were small squares which looked a little bit funny but they were so comfortable!! The square shape was a non-issue!

So when we got there, everything was fine. There was no problems. All the transactions went through and stuff but when we got to the room, the room looked nothing like the pictures. It was a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke. Also, the AC wasn’t working the walls were dirty. The mattresses were too. It was a I went in and step back out moment I asked for a refund and I’m still waiting on it.

I wouldn’t suggest this motel to anyone it was very smelly and have homeless people in there look like drug users as well. Didn’t feel comfortable so I got dressed for a concert and come back and check out mind you I was three hours away from home got on the rode at 12 am because I wasn’t feeling the vibe. The first thing that greeted me when I stepped out of my car was the very strong smell of weed in the parking lot. People standing around outside made me feel a little unsafe. The parking lot is not well lit. The person who checked me in had very little English skills and struggled a little with the check-in. The room was okay. It was clean enough although a little rundown. When it was time to check out the morning person had locked herself out so I had to let her in the lobby door and take her word for it that she worked there. The upside is that it's very convenient to the airport although you can hear the planes taking off all night if you're sensitive to that. But for $90 it was a decent stay

For a non-smoking property there had to be lots of smoking. Whether it be weed, cigarettes, or crack. The mold on the walls was a unique feature. The spider webs and the dust caught in them also added to the ambiance. The dusky muskie smell of the room along with the furniture that has definitely been past its prime or pulled out of a dumpster set the time for the property. The bedding looked nice but there was no trust in it being clean as nothing else was. I was shown a second room, however I could not even enter as the mold made my allergies and asthma kick in to the point where my eyes were watering and I could not breathe. They also misrepresent their price as they ask for additional funds when you check in. For What they were asking with the additional funds. There's plenty of nicer hotels in the area that have breathable air, furniture that isn't falling apart clean sheets and a shower with no mold. Actually it's several hours later and I'm still having difficulty breathing even with my inhaler. Oh, and the check-in person was seemed annoyed that he had to check in a person. He didn't even say hello when you walk up to the desk.

Front desk person was rude and unprofessional. He accused me of trying to use someone else's credit card. Even though it was my company credit card and refused to send an authorization and made me pay for the room. It was already paid for by my organization. My room had a broken TV and chair and when I asked for my room to be changed he tried to put me in a connecting room with road workers next door. So I ended up going back to the original room. I told him that I did not want to be charged for the broken items. The breakfast had molded muffins and over cooked what looked like sausage links. When I asked for a manager l, he said that she would not be in until Wednesday. I never got to see her.

Nasty, dirty. Flying bugs, fruit flies in room. No toilet paper or towel rack in bathroom. Dirty fridge. Stained linens and bedspread. No suitcase rack, no curtains in room. I went to front desk to ask for bug spray, and he gave me an unmarked bottle of spray that was window cleaner. Completely gross! Definitely pass on this one!!!

Settled on this place in a pinch with a cancelled flight at CLT. I didn’t expect much but figured it wouldn’t be terrible based on other Sleep Inns that I’ve stayed at before. There was functional hot water in the sink but somehow not in the shower. There were strange brown liquid spots on various surfaces that were easily wiped up (by me, not the housekeeping staff… yikes). There was also a single wasp’s nest on the window valance (thankfully no wasp to be found). Property generally felt safe, so that’s a plus. Didn’t really try the breakfast since they were out of coffee cups and that’s mainly what I wanted. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel because of false advertising. It says that there is a free airport shuttle, which there is not. When I asked the hotel if they would reimburse the taxi fee, they said no. The front desk told me that the shuttle had been out of commission for over a month before arriving and for at least another two months. You can get a nicer hotel than this one when you include the price of the taxi (and other hotels have airport shuttles). The pool is also closed, and has been for a while, even if listed on the site as well. If you have a car, maybe the false advertising won't bother you too much.

The hotel itself is very dirty. The walls are stained (room and halls), the ceiling had holes in it and large pieces peeling off of it, the carpets were stained all over the place (room and halls), and there were cockroaches. Luckily, the bedding and towels seemed clean. I took pictures of all of these things, but cannot post them here.

I will for sure stay at another hotel next time I visit Charlotte.

I am surprised this property scored so high on Expedia. The first room they tried to give us had a broken bathroom door which did not function so they gave us a different room which had a leaking toilet with water all over the bathroom floor, the third room was okay but still very dirty. The walls are a mess and the floors were sticky. The area wasn't as good as I had hoped either. There were people hanging out on the street corner all night and others just hanging around the property that I don't think we're guests. The breakfast that was included was very minimal and limited in choices.

We reserved two nights at Sleep Inn (Saturday and Sunday) We slept there Saturday night, the room was okay but the hallways leading to our room were filthy. Sunday night we got back around midnight and were heading to bed when we saw multiple cockroaches crawling on the ceiling and wall behind the headboard. We left and went to another hotel, when we told the front desk, they told us to call back at 9am to talk to a manager for a refund for the second night. I called at 9:45 am and was told there was nothing they could do because we checked out after 11 am. They did not seem to care about the roaches or dirty rooms whatsoever. We will never be back and we strongly recommend not staying at this hotel!!

Everything was terrible. They didn’t even let me check in and I had to get another hotel. I’m tryng to reach Expedia to see if I can get my money back. The staff was terrible. He guy literally kicked me out from the hotel because I get late to the check in. I reserved for 2 night and I get there late for the first night and he say I had to leave knowing that I had 2 night contract. Then after I had to pay to the next hotel, one of the supervisors from the hotel called me very sorry for what that guy did to us and asking me to come back to the hotel but it was too late. I have already paid for the next hotel.

nice staff just terrible hotel, you’re better off sleeping in your car at a rest stop, dirty gross hotel, left at 2am and a literal drugged out girl was pacing back and fourth right infront of our car, if you just need a place to crash for very cheap, this is the spot, other than that avoid this place at all costs
