For the price of the room, I was not impressed. I have stayed at cheaper hotels for the night and are cleanier than this one. The fake flowers as you walk in give it a cheap look, one of the two elevators were working for all six floors. The carpets felt like they were coming up with evey step and the bed sheets were wrinkled. The room has a musty smell as well as the hallway. Bathroom shower kept clogging up. Breakfast was ok, coffee machine was broken and the juices in the machine were watered down, not sure why.

Breakfast items went out and there were 2 hrs left, attendant was slow, not attentive, and didnt want to refresh items.

Rooms are horrible. We didnt have a blackout/privacy shade/curtain, and our room had a parking lot light roght outside the window. The toilet is SO LOW, and takes 3 flushes to empty the bowl.

The beds are not comfortable and there wasnt a blanket. You get a fitted sheet, and 2 flat sheets.

Worst hotel experience.

There were lots of very weird and off-putting smells. Toilets would not flush in our first room so we were moved to another room and its toilet did not flush either. One of the elevators does not work and outside of the elevators are plumbing pipes sticking out of the wall as if for a toilet but there was no toilet and the pipes are not capped. It seemed to be the same on all of the floors. Overall, not a great experience.

The elevator wasn't working. It happens. From the door to the stairwell, we seen 4 roaches Nov 7th 2025. We were drivi g to Florida, it was our half way point. No one was concerned. They were like...Huh? Bugs? Ok. We requested a refund. Cant be done till the 10th with the manager be ause i rented 3rd party. Fine. Then i call expedia. \"They allowed\" me half my money with no penalties. Geez, thanks, i lost half because you have roaches and i won't except that?! The place was shady, creepy people hanging in the lot. Drug addict looking people in the hall. No thanks. Never book another Comfort Inn in my life time. Dont book

There was only one person working the front desk, I had problem with TV and she was only to fix it! The elevators were out so had to use stairs and I just had open heart surgery! Hotel old and smelled musty and no desk chair at the desk in room!

You can tell that the property is a bit aged. I noticed that the lamps seemed old, as some of the material was peeling off for example. The cover on the bed was super thin as well. The area is in a nice and calm area. The property was clean as well. Overall, it was an okay property to stay at if you aren't planning to stay in the area long and just want a place to lay your head that is still safe and clean.

This was by far the worst hotel experience. I booked a room for my best friend and her children, and from start to finish it was a nightmare.
•Cleanliness: Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days (very unusual), and when we asked for towels, the front desk said none were available—we had to wait a whole day for fresh ones. The first room (315) smelled strongly of smoke and hadn’t been cleaned. The second room (515) didn’t smell like smoke, but the blow dryer had hair on it, the phone and iron were sticky, the microwave was filthy, the walls were dirty, and there was a hole behind the toilet stuffed with paper. Completely unacceptable.
•Smell: Each hallway has heavy air freshener to mask the mold, cigarette, and weed smell.
•Breakfast: Disgusting. The only thing fresh was the fruit. We even saw homeless people coming in just to eat breakfast.
•Safety & Location: The hotel is in a very sketchy area—definitely not near Uptown as advertised. We witnessed obvious drug activity and even prostitution happening right in front of the building.

The fact that this place is listed as a 4–5 star hotel on Expedia is beyond misleading. The pictures online do not reflect reality. This property is extremely run down, unsafe, and poorly maintained.

The only “positive” was that our second room didn’t reek of smoke. That’s it.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the headache, money, and disappointment.

The overall stay was not the best. We had to move rooms because our first time using the sink, it stopped up and we couldn’t get the water to drain. The toilet wouldn’t flush either. There was hair on the countertops, the desk area was sticky and it just didn’t look thoroughly cleaned. The breakfast was very good and the hospitality from majority of the staff was good. I’m still waiting 6 days later for the $100 deposit “hold” to be processed and placed back onto my card. That’s also something that you’re not informed of until after you book your stay and pay your money. I wish I would have gotten pictures but I was trying to make the best of everything since it was my birthday weekend stay.

The area around the property is nice. Once you get to the hotel, that area is questionable. You can tell it is an old building but it was clean for the most part. It has a musty smell to it and they have humidifiers in the hallways.
The staff is very friendly. I saw another customer talking so nasty to the staff, and the staff was so courteous to her even though the lady was nasty and rude.
It's not my first choice but not my last choice.

We called 5 times from the airport, no one picked up the phone and the free shuttle service never came. We eventually had to take a Lyft and were not reimbursed. When we arrived, after checking in we were told the elevator was not working so we had to carry our luggage to the THIRD FLOOR! No manager was working and we were told we couldn’t be reimbursed and no rooms were available on the lower levels. Awful experience.

I asked for a nonsmoking room and my room stunk of cigarette smoke. The bathroom door didn’t close properly. The door lock latch was in disrepair. No floor mat in the bathroom. The airport shuttle took over 45 minutes to pick me up after I called twice. There was a metal bedroom that extended four inches past the bed that I hit with my ankle twice. The positive: no bed bugs.

The front desk staff was nice, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. My room was dirty and I tried calling the front desk a few times and couldn’t reach them. Someone else’s hair was on the comforter, the floor everywhere), a bunch of junk on the floor in front of my door, the floors in the rooms needed to be swept, the desk in the room had something on the top of it. The water pressure was horrible for my room and even the room down the hall. My sheets had stains on them, therefore I didn’t sleep in them. I had a horrible day with my travel and all the multiple cancellations we had to deal with, and walking into this made things even worse. My advice to you, spend the extra 20-30 bucks and stay somewhere else.

Last minute late booking and was able to ride the last shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Expedia listing said 1 free drink per person up to 4 people. The hotel did not honor that. The room surfaces (toilet seat, night table, parts of floor floor) were dirty. Beds seemed clean and we were tired so we went to bed as we had to be back up to get on the 5am shuttle.

The walls are very hollow so every time someone opened and closed their door, I could hear it slam. The breakfast was average. The room could have been cleaner. They left a small face towel hanging in the bathroom from the previous person. They were cracks in the floor,and the baseboards had not been cleaned.

This property had a lot of things that needed fixed
Our closet door was falling off, the toilet paper holder was broken and couldn't even hold toilet paper. There was scratches all over walls, and furniture. The beds were comfortable, and smelled clean. The breakfast area had a nice breakfast, however the vinyl benches were ripping, and most of the tables were sticky from not being wiped from the morning diners before us. The staff was pleasant and easy to work with.

Upon pulling onto the property I did not feel safe. From people wandering asking for money to the group off to the side of the parking lot smoking weed, to the ajoining room with the lock unsecure. I had to push a chair in front of the door. At midnight we lost power and I was unable to speak with anyone from the front desk after many attempts. At check in (10:00pm) I had to wait 15 minutes at the desk before anyone came out from the back to check me in. Perhaps one of my worst experiences I have had in all my travels.

I do not recommend this hotel. The area is very poor. Homeless people were hanging outside. The hotel needs to be updated. The staff were
foreigners and act like they didn’t understand what to do. I had to wait an hour for clean towels & they didn’t let me charge my room incidental fee for snacks. Very strange! Never again!

Breakfast was great! The lady that assisted with breakfast was amazing.

Aside from that, I was told I was placed on the first floor because I had children (to prevent noise complaints). That’s prejudice and in no way shape or form should that have been told to me. I’ve never heard this at any hotel. Ever. My children are well behaved. If they weren’t, maybe the hotel should try looking into better insulation to prevent these complaints.

There are air purifiers in the hallways, however, the hallways still smell like “weed”.
