Overall I enjoy this hotel and have stayed here a few times. This was my first poor experience with room availability. I reserved 2 queen beds, when I got to the property I was told my room “had a maintenance issue” and only King beds were available, with the understanding I could move to a 2 queen bed the following night. I attempted to move the next morning before heading out for the day and again no rooms were available. I asked to be texted with availability, that did not happen. I had a missed call from the hotel with no voicemail left. I did not have reception when that happened I suppose. I called back midday to verify my new room availability. I was told “yes you’re good to go, we’ll see you when you get back”. When I returned that evening the clerk was unable to access the 2 bed room. She told me she did not know how to change the room without charging me again. I told her (and showed her my bank statement receipt) she said it “was her third day”. She was courteous and professional but could not resolve the issue. I offered to continue to use the 1 bed room from the night prior. I was tired and just wanted a room. This was frustrating because I didn’t have access to a 2 bed room all Friday night and into Saturday for an additional guest. I had to change my plans, which was not ideal. Traveling is expensive and tiring, one should get what the pay for. The staff were pleasant but I feel The situation should have been brought to my attention prior to my arrival.

Dirty clothes in drawers dirty papers and tissues trying to plug my phone in. Wifi did not work upon arrival, no hot water when i tried to shower after waking up, topped off with no coffee in the morning or cups and lids and everyone just stands there to watch the struggle not a comment concern or care in the world!

When checking in staff where carrying on a conversation betweeen themselves leaving me unable to communicate my questions and needs. The breakfast food was good but not labeled and had to ask attendant what it was. She snapped a response of \"i gittin ready to label it\" as if I shouldn't have questioned the food at 6:15 am. I eat kosher (no pork)so its important to me. The floors in my room had spots that needed to be mopped and food in corners of the room from previous occupants. The shower has a hole that is covered by white duct tape and hair left from previous occupants as well as pink mildew in the corners and on the shower curtain. This room needed some attention. The tv selection good nice ammenities like fridge, sink and range. Pillows on the bed were great.

This was a return visit to Goldsboro and the second time staying at the Homewood Suites in Goldsboro.

Very clean exterior and interior (lobby and rooms). Room was nice and large with an area to work, and cook if this is needed.

Conveniently located near a highway but not too close so the noise will not be an issue. Close to dining and downtown too.

Great front desk staff and very pleasant breakfast personnel too.

RUDE and UNSAFE. Do not stay here! They didn't have our room, were insulting and refused when we asked to speak to a manager. Hilton Headquarters is current looking into multiple other problems we had w the staff their that resulted in us needing a police escort us to our car with 2 small children at midnight so we could move to a new hotel

Amazing stay!

We were in town for a wedding and we loved it! It was close for last minute shopping trips and quick lunches. Loved the common area— perfect for hanging out. The suites were truly a home away from home.

Definitely stay here!

The hotel was clean, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, making for a wonderful stay. I’d like to give a special shout-out to Jonah—he was exceptionally kind, attentive to detail, and by far the most efficient check-in associate we’ve ever encountered in our travels.

Great hotel. Very clean and great breakfast. Also the staff have been very helpful and professional. Especially Mr. Joshua who helped me deal with an error I made on the reservation. He helped me to correct it and worked with Travelocity to do so. Everything was fixed and my stay went as planned.

A really great stay. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and spacious. I couldn't have wanted for anything else in terms of comfort. Breakfast was a good selection of hot foods and pastries. The only item missing if we would have been staying longer would be a suggested all purpose cleaner for the gorgeous countertops.

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Goldsboro for the second time, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. On both visits, I found dirty dishes and glasses put away on the shelves and in the cabinets, which required me to wash or put all the dishes in the dishwasher before using them. Additionally, the cleaning staff did not refresh the floors or towels during my stay.

I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the overall guest experience. Cleanliness and proper housekeeping are essential for a comfortable stay, and I believe these improvements can make a significant difference.

My only complaint was they put us on the 4th floor and at the end of the hallway . Being that both myself and my wife have a hard time walking this was very inconvenient .I asked for a different room was told there were none . this trip made me rethink this whole stay at a Hilton hotel .

Loved the property at first, but working and doing laundry was a major inconvenience! The internet was a huge disappointment, and breakfast wasn't great either. We had a room on the 4th floor in the front. It was very noisy - we could hear cars, trucks, motorcycles going by all night. Also some other type motor (maybe on the roof) was running on and off all night. It was not the Air Conditioning - which did work well. Staff was friendly and hotel was immaculate.

We loved ppl working there. Nice and kind. Extra blanket and sheets already in a shelf and folding couch had bunch of little hairs and food and snack crumbles. Need to clean up a little bit more this part. 4 ppl stayed including kids so we needed to have 4 bath towels sets but it was only 3. One of the bath towel has some hair on it. One of the side table’s charger was not working. Beside these problems all good. We will come bk again but hopefully those problems will be solved before we stay next time!

Road Trip to Florida

This is a new hotel. It was beautifully furnished. It was extremely clean. Check in was a breeze. The staff were friendly and deserve a bonus for their customer service. The free breakfast was good. The only downside was there isn't a pool. I would definitely stay there again.
