We were in the motel style accomodation. The room was large, clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Access to our car through from the rear of the room was handy. The Thai restaurant made us a lovely dinner. The price was good too.

This accommodation is so basic. For the price its ok. Floor was gritty under foot so needed to be cleaned.
No power point near the bed for my husbands sleep apnea machine. Had to ask for a long extension lead. We are not snobs but couldn't stay longer than 1 night.

we love Hervey Bay, the cabin was ok, suited our purposes, could have been much cleaner, along with the camp kitchen. the kids loved the games room and the beautiful pool area.
would stay there again definitely, new owners apparently, just taken over.

My family and I were traveling north and chose to pause in Harvey Bay. Since it was an unplanned stop, we were unable to reserve any motels, as they were all fully booked. Fortunately, this was the only accommodation available in the area. We stayed for just one night, and I can confidently say that the staff at this establishment are the best in Harvey Bay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome, and they even opened the door for us. The check-in process was incredibly smooth. When we entered our room, everything was prepared, including the air conditioning, which was a relief given the heat outside. Our parking spot was conveniently located next to our room, making parking very easy. We particularly appreciated the proximity of the Thai takeaway restaurant; after a long day of driving, the food was absolutely sublime. Checking out was also effortless, as we simply needed to drop the key in the designated box and leave. Finally, regarding communication, when we accidentally left something behind, we messaged the property through the Wotif app and promptly received a reply, informing us to collect the items at reception. This demonstrates their amazing service, even after check-out.

The check in was good. Friendly and informative. There were no hand towels.
The bedroom did not have any bedside tables or lamps. There was a small shelf on each side of the bed but they needed repair. My husband and I both use CPAP machines and there really wasn’t anywhere to put the machines as they were broken and very small. Had to get out of bed to turn the light out. It would be nice to have more bedside space with a lamp. Bed was comfortable and cosy.

Comfortable bed, saucepans didn’t have matching lids, microwave dirty inside, BBQ in camp kitchen unusable due to being covered in grease. Staff happy to help, replacing electric frypan and kettle which didn’t work. Short walk to beach, cafes and shops. Staff were busy cleaning up after the floods in March.

We booked online for a budget room that was available and on arrival we found that we had been up graded at no extra cost.
The cabin was clean, in good maintenance and had all the utensils we needed for it to be our home away from home whilst visiting the area.
We arrived and forgot to mention we also had a trailer but found the staff more than accommodating and the trailer was no issue.
Will recommend to anyone and we will happily stay here again.

I was aware that the property was cheap was not expecting the state of the room. There was built up dust on the shelves that held the glasses and dishes. It obviously had not been cleaned for a while, yet the sign in the room stated it was thoroughly cleaned after each guest apparently no one had stayed there for a while. There were spider webs around the bedside table and my husband found some crawling on him during the night. I would recommend that they get the whole area cleaned and fumigated.

Fantastic Tourist Park. Suited us perfectly for a short break. Accommodation in the park includes powered sites, cabins and backpacker suites. It is pet friendly, but I also liked that there was at least one cabin that was not used by pets.
Walking distance to Torquay Beach.
I cannot rave enough about how clean and perfect the bed linens were and how neat the beds were made up. And the towels were fluffy and large. The queen bed was comfortable and bedside lamps perfect. Teen didn't much rate the bunk beds.
Only a couple of points for the owners. The fridge wasn't cold, we couldn't find the free wifi, the cabin was initially a bit dank but we aired it out, the hours of the rec-room should definately be extended until at least 8pm.
Sure, in places it's a bit tired but don't let that stop you.
All in All , value for money well spent.

The beds were comfy and it was reasonably clean. It was quiet overnight and close enough to the beach. They were responsive to requests. But there were no power points near the main bed, the power point under the tv didn’t work at all and neither did the aircon. So they just need to check on those electrical things.

When we checked in, the floor was still wet from mopping, and the nauseating smell of chlorine/bleach was throughout. It lasted for hours.

The furniture looks like it is from the Salvation Army, terribly uncomfortable, there are no bedside lights, only ceiling downlights with the switch by the door.

There is no real bathroom. There is a shower and a separate toilet cubicle but the wash basin is in the hallway right next to the rear entry door with no vanity and no place to put anything on.

The stay is relatively cheap compared to others but had I known what it is really like, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Don’t book here if you think it’s pet friendly. They don’t tell you online that not all cabins are pet friendly with an extra charge of $30 each dog per night. If the total cost is not in the the original booking price it’s a scam as far as I’m concerned. Then they say that they charge a fee for cancellation what a wrought. Would never book through them again

We loved everything about this property except one thing.. the false advertising about the studio having an electric frypan, I have it in writing in my booking, but when getting there it has everything in the kitchen except for that, when I asked the lady at reception about it (as this is the only reason we stayed there as we wanted our own kitchen space) she just told us to use the camp kitchen. I wasn’t happy about that. The camp kitchen was tiny and a struggle to cook there as there was constantly a family of about 20 people there most of the day and night ..
Everything else was fine though, room was big and clean and a short walk to the esplanade .

Couple little annoying things, dripping shower, bathroom sliding door doesn’t quite stay shut properly, ceiling fan control knobs missing made hard to adjust

The overall cleanliness was okay.
But....
1.There was not much air ventilation in the room that is more like a store room than anything else.
2. An 'only' small fan were helpless and couldn't move the air within the small room at all.
3. Hard to sleep through at all due to the air flow in the room was simply too bad, thus too hot.
4. The location of the shared Toilet and Shower Rooms are not close to the room and had to walk out and around to the other end of next toilet block for Ladies.
5. There wasn't any rubbish bin in the room itself.

The lady that was at the desk wasn't very helpful and seemed like all she was worried about was getting home. The tv didnt work,well so we thought but she was like we'll try fix it tomorrow? Another staff member(she was in the accounts office)was more helpful and luckily she lived on site just above our room. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The cabin we stayed in was far from ‘Delux’. Dirt and mould. Dirty pillow case cover on spare pillow. Only sheets on bed, had to make up ourselves. No stove only frypan and portable hot plate in cupboard. Small bar of soap each. No small shampoos etc. Tiny milk containers to splash in tea.Cabins so close together, cars very hard to park. Can hear everyone else around. Big camper van parked opp. Which made it near impossible to get into car space. The whole place is old and in need of repair.

We had a terrible time staying at this property in a studio room. We tried to make contact with the reception area via telephone but they never answered their phones. Message left to contact us about our complaints. No-one was in the reception are. Couldn’t be bothered answering us back. We got no sleep due to the partying group staying above our room. They started at 9pm and went all through the night until 5am, banging on the walls, running up and down the stairs attached to the side of our room, running across the Pool room where they continued to go between all night. Music and jumping upstairs. Banging rubbish bins against the bedroom wall with bottles. Absolutely disgusting. No-one should have to put up with that during their stay. The spa area looked tidy until you got in it. Potato chips surrounding it and floating in the pool with Schweppes bottle wrappers in the pool. They got stuck to my feet. Would be nice if they cleaned their shower curtains once in a while. Looked like old sperm stains stuck. We could have managed that but not the disgusting, disrespectful behaviour of the occupied room above us. We come to have a rest not be kept up all night and be ignored by the owners when trying to bring it to their attention.

We stayed in a budget room, however we didn’t realize it would be that bad. Nothing was clean, instead of an air conditioner we had a small rusty fan in the corner of the room. We were provided a tv, but no remote to turn it on.. and the smell was horrible. We were told to park our car in a specific area however there was no parks available so we had to leave it on the street. There was no bathroom attached to the room so we had to use the amenities block. That was actually quite maintained

The cabin we stayed in was nice. Not sure what was superior about it? Lol..but it was comfortable.

I booked a room for 3,1 adult 2 kids,it was only set up for 1 adult, no bedding on the kids bed, plus kids bunks was missing more screws than was there, very unsafe, i slept my kids on the floor
Not enough towels for 3 guests, they advised must wash and put away dishes etc,if not done they would charge you $50, well no cloth or tea towels in the room. Rang to get bedding towels etc, was told i had to wait till they returned in an hour or so. Not happy as we wanted to go out and shower before we left, customer servicse was not great, everything seemed a hassel and i was an inconvenience.

The undercover parking was only suitable for small cars not 4WD’s. air con was leaking down the wall and behind wall tiles close to a power point and then across kitchen bench which had severe swelling and into kitchen cupboards which were also showing signs of swelling and water damage. We were also expected to strip the beds of linen ??

Management wasnt very helpful, felt like we were given keys then brushed aside when a group of bowls men came in. On street parking, said i couldnt park in an area as a red car was going to park there? No car did!
Had to go up stairs and pass permanet residents who literally took up the balcony space to our room. She smoked right out by us with her chair nearly blocking our pathway to leave the next day.
No toilet paper in bathroom, lucky i checked before sitting on each toilet.
Management said they couldnt leave things out cos they went missing!. Toilet paper!!!
Very cramped camp park, room floor was still dirty with sweeped mess still on floor by bin.
Thank goodness pub was down the road and i brought my own pillow as i didnt have a pillowcase on my bed.
There was another door leading of our door to another room
Guess you pay for budget, you get budget.
Wouldnt even recommend this to family, friends or neighbours
