This was the perfect choice for our stay in Hervey bay. Close to the trips and pickup points.
The room or should I say apartment was perfect for us.
We managed to do all our laundry and get it dry on our last evening.
We checked out and sat around the pool whilst waiting for our airport transfer and had a cheeky last dip. We also had a breakfast on our last day and this was brilliant. We filled up for the day and the choice was great.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Ramada Encore, staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in. Room was clean, amenities easily assessed and well taken care off. Only bad thing about our stay was it didn’t last longer! My kids especially loved the pool and spa area.

Very disappointed. Hope this place because it had a pool and a spa. Nowhere on the website or booking conditions or any email did they inform me that the pool and spa are currently under renovations made disappointing trip particularly book this place for the extra large size pool..
Unit was perfectly spacious. Did have any internal laundry which was great after travelling for quite a few days units a little out of town about a 20 minute walk to town close to Marina and cafes though.
Would’ve appreciated a heads up for some sort of communication regarding the pool be closed and even an offset of some sort of credit towards the booking.

Cleaners need to up their game!!!

Overall the place was good, had my own carport space to park under which is great. Apartment was a decent size. Only thing I’ll fault is the cleaning. My toilet wasn’t cleaned. The was 💩 on the side and it needed a good scrub. I had to go out and get something from Woolies to clean it. When you’ve done a long drive the last thing you want to do is clean the toilet in your room you’re paying good money to stay in…

Nice apartment ,shame about the shower

Stayed for 3 nights in a really nice apartment with individual touches , nice furnishings the only down side was the shower. It was over a small bath that was not very wide making it awkward to wash properly.
If the bath/shower was replaced with a walk in unit the Apartment would tick all the boxes.

The first apartment they put us in had a shower over bath. This is not acceptable because of my medical conditions and they did assure us that we had a walk in shower. They put us in another apartment which was quite good. Then we had to move to another suite for the last night so most of our last day was moving to another building.

Family break away.

Townhouse at Ramada Whale Cove was adequate for our stay. Didn't like the fact though that garage entrance door and main timber entrance door don't have any insect screening into home and not sealed well to prevent cockroachs entering the living spaces. We had the buffet breakfast offered at Smokey Joes, it was dissapointing to us adults, kids didn't notice with their basic breakfast choosing. Pastries were undercooked, chewy and tasteless, bacon wasn't cooked well. Pancakes flat and flavourless. More like a flat crepe in texture. The one and only poached egg left in the container for myself at the time was cold but cooked well. Overall very average for what we expected from the Ramada. Family was dissapointed also that the children couldn't ride their small bikes inside the property grounds near our townhouse. Wouldn't stay at Whale Cove again as not very family friendly and basic overall.

The unit was nice and spacious. However, the noise from above unit was not ideal and when you sleep in a different bed, you expect it to be comfortable (as this is the most important thing). Whalecove Resort is a fantastic place to stay. The resort is within a easy short drive to the main shopping area of Hervey Bay & the waterfront area. The resort is nice & quiet & the unit is well equipped & very comfortable.

It was good over all. We booked two 2 bedroom apartments. Both self contained. Few things we didn’t like about those. Things like we couldn’t lock our bathroom & toilet door in one apartment, so have to announce every time before we go in. Fly screen was broken in one of them. We would have preferred few more toiletries then provided, as we were 11 people. So they should fix those little things. Apart from those, it was close to amenities & swimming pool was good with nice spa. Thanks.

Overall the property was fine however the apartment we stayed in was outdated with multiple things broken. These items had clearly been broken for quite sometime but dryer, kettle, door locks, clothes hanger. As we were having fun with family we didn't bother too much with these inconveniences and advised reception upon check out. Receptionist was rude and basically blamed me for not telling her sooner that these things were broken. Needless to say we will not be back and don't recommend room 48.

The 3 bedroom apartment was spacious enough for 5 adults, the pool and spa were great. The only downfalls were we were left with one roll of toilet paper for two toilets and 5 adults, the dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes, cockroaches were everywhere upstairs. The management was helpful. The beds and pillows need a good update, super uncomfortable. We did enjoy our stay

Dislikes- Cleanliness was poor. Stained carpets, tiled floor in kitchen, yes tiles clean but grout lines gross. Bathtub had chipped enamel. Clothes drier is missing a mounting component which has it hanging straight on the wall (should not be used in current condition). Whole apartment needs some general maintenance, a good clean and a spruce up.
