Unit was nice enough. It had the basics but did not go beyond. The stairs are quite steep.
There are shops and restaurants nearby, but they are a bit of a walk. The beach front is also nearby.
The pool area is great.
I found it a bit boxed in and claustrophobic, the neighbours are very close and you can hear people in other units talking while you are in bed. One bed was ok, the other was very hard. You are only given 1 key which makes it tricky when adults are wanting to go in different directions.
Would not be my choice again.

Amazing guest experience with the manager going out of her way to help us checking in and getting to our bus stop early the next morning. A truly exceptional guest service experience. Kids loved the pool and games area and wanted to stay an extra night.

The property was well maintained as was the entire complex.
The interior was clean and tidy however quite dated. One of the bathroom vanities tops was cracked and in need of repair but other than this happy with our stay

Our stay was amazing and the owners were very helpfull. Rooms are clean and aircon was on in the rooms on our arival. The pool area is a great place to hang out. Tennis courts haveing not hire is so easy and made it very accsesable.

The Grange Resort had plenty of room for a family with multilevel living making it easy for everyone to find their own space. Unfortunately, it is not well appointed for a family to stay and make meals. Fully self-contained accommodation should have basic cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. and it would be good to have more than one bin liner and some washing up liquid. While the unit sleeps 8, there were only enough bows for 6 people. The people at the front desk were lovely, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Lack of amenities such as coffee maker; told that since it was a privately owned unit the resort had no control. We did not know we were booking a private and might have declined if we knew. Heater worked sporadically and governors on taps made shower very inconvenient.

We were very happy with the whole experience. Staff were fantastic.

Absolutely beautiful property to stay at! The villa was gorgeous and everything so clean and comfortable. The pool is amazing, the swim up bar and the cocktails are to die for! The managers/owners of the resort are super friendly and helpful. Definitely rate it a 5 star place!

Grange resort has huge townhouse units for stay and one of the most amazing pool areas : there is shallow area for kids, a spa inside a semi cave with a waterfall, swim up bar, and pool table and table tennis. Absolutely amazing.

We loved our stay at The Grange, we will be back for sure! The position of the resort was within walking distance to the pier, dog beach, grocery stores, bottle shops, botanical gardens, taverns! The pool is so warm and inviting and we loved the swim up bar. Plus the villa was very spacious allowing our family to fully relax without being in each other's way. Highly recommend this place!

Each day we would walk to the beach which was the highlight of our holiday. We loved the spacious accommodation and the home away from home feeling. We had a great time and we would love to return some time soon.

Absolutely loved staying here with my family. Super clean, comfortable and fantastic hosts! The kids loved the heated pool after playing sport all day and we loved the walking distance to the water and pier.
Will definitely be staying here again.

The room set up was good however it is in need of some good pest control. Cockroaches in the bathroom & some sort of bug in the couch that resulted in all 6 of us being bitten.

Great spot and perfect for families!

Cold and Dark with Horrible Cheap Smell

Very disappointed as was expecting much more. The room was very cold and dark, and had a terrible cheap smell like toilet freshener throughout, which was very unpleasant. Sorry, but I would not stay here again.

The Grange Resort Hervey Bay

We just returned home from a 4 night stay at The Grange Resort Hervey Bay. We wanted a place we could take our Moodle on a holiday with us. In our past experiences dog friendly accommodation is usually a little on the sub standard style but not The Grange. The unit was fresh and bright with newly layed carpet. There are both two and three bedroom units, we rented one of the two bedroom units. Downstairs was a the main living area housing modern kitchen, dinning, lounge, laundry and toilet. Upstairs two huge bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed (ensuited), the other with double bed. There was also a sitting room upstairs outside the bedrooms that had a pull out lounge for additional bedding and a additional bathroom. Plenty of cupboard space throughout the unit. The resort also includes a heated swimming pool and half court tennis courts and is only 2 blocks from a dog friendly beach, and several cafes and restaurants. There was a fully enclosed court yard, with outdoor setting and an area for our dog to be able to go outside when required. We felt very much at home.

Sitting room was very dark sofa not that comfortable would benefit from ceiling fan and so would the main bedroom, Pillows were like rocks and nasty cheap sheets some towels were old and thin, but the most disappointing thing was that the tennis court is not full size
