Lovely complex and staff. The rooms were newly decorated and beds were comfortable. Very convenient position but we were in a room across from reception and bottle shop and were awakened by noise both mornings. The first morning was the delivery truck for bottle shop, second morning sounded like rubbish truck. I understand jobs need doing but maybe not near rooms. We were also near a carpark area. The hotel is having renovations so couldn't get a cocktail and no low set table and chairs. There was some bench seating outside. I was a bit disappointed in the food too but my friends enjoyed theirs the day before. Maybe a room by the lake next time and wait for renovations to be finished at the Bistro.

Our room was clean and comfortable the beds were comfortable and good pillow choice.
It has beautiful grounds and is very peaceful.

Mattresses on queen beds are extremley soft and very difficult to get a good night sleep. Apart from that, the upgrades are awesome, food great and staff went above and beyond to make it a great stay.

Internet is forgotten about here, tried calling for desk service that was supposed to be available until 4am and non existent. No foxtel in the rooms you have to go the bar to watch sport when you not want to. Not the accommodation we would revisit.

Stayed overnight and stayed in one of the newly renovated room. Firstly, the lady who checked us in was very friendly and polite. The room was modern, clean and bed was super comfortable. Shower had a great rain shower head with great pressure and hot water.

Having the hotel next door was perfect for a quite drink and dinner.

We were two couples staying in separate rooms. Both rooms were amazing & spacious, beautiful decor & modern clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, kitchenette was lovely & stocked with essential appliances. One of the rooms which was located downstairs, did not have an exhaust fan in the bathroom or kitchen and every window was covered with running condensation in the morning. The light in that room’s bathroom was out & had an electrical issue. The pub’s menu was extensive, the food was good and the staff were very professional. Would definitely stay there again.

Room service non existent, take out rubbish and leave tbags was all that was done daily. Bed not made for 4 days, and then only when I asked for it to be made, but not made after that. Had to ask to have floor vacumed on 2nd day of 7 day stay, as debris in bed after walking on carpet in socks. A lot of garden debris outside room, no door mat to wipe off excess dirt, so tracking it inside. No room service at all on Sundays....was only told when I asked for Tbags. On informing staff of issues, very lack lustre to make amends, just excuses. Do not make bed or clean bathroom. When I go on a holiday these are the things I look forward to NOT having to do. A budget deal with very limited service. A toaster in room would be helpfel as no breakfast service offered at all. Room slept 3 people, but only 1 chair in room, visitors had to sit on beds. I realise the place is undergoing renovations and my room was one that had been updated, but lacking in basics. Overall not my best holiday stay. Will give this place a miss next time, can not recommend it at all.

We booked the Kondari Hotel at the last minute to stay the night on our way driving down to Brisbane from Airlie Beach. We had been driving for around nine hours so we’re so relieved to be able to check into somewhere for the night. We called and told them that we would be checking in around 9pm later than the 7pm reception closing time. This was not a problem at all, and they just told me to go to the Bar to check in.
The staff were lovely, the room was amazing and spacious and I think newly renovated in a lovely style. I would highly recommend Kondari Hotel to anyone that needs accommodation in the Hervey Bay Area

I liked that they had a courtesy bus.Very handy.
In the shower the tiles down the bottom were black,
Lots of mould in grout, and the drain hole is quite small, so therefore standing in water up to your ankles while showering.

The room was okay for the price. There was lots of mould and soap scum in the shower and the hot water kept fluctuating between super hot and freezing cold depending who else was using water in our room block. We only got 1 washer provided for a 4 person room. We weren’t able to order room service to our room as it was the “budget rooms” which seemed a bit unfair.

The staff were nice though. And the towels/pillows/bedding was nice and soft and comfortable.

Although the toom was a great size. It felt a little dated. Only 1 dining chair to sit on. Nice view out on verandah of the water.
Was woken up at 3am with loud banging noise that sounded like garbage bins getting emptied.

I was sent a text the morning of arrival to complete an online check in to save time on arrival, when I arrived none of the information I provided was on the documentation. The reception service was friendly but not efficient.

We loved our family stay, the rooms definitely need some new beds and refurbished but it's a beautiful property, and wonderful dining options. Unfortunately, the pool was closed the whole time we were there for cleaning (48 hours), so the kids were disappointed about that. Overall loved our stay and would stay here again.

Pitty there is no option for zero stars, where should I start? The walls are paper thin, you can here next door fart, and stains on the carpet, absolutely disgusting i actually slept in my car because of inconsiderate neighbours that didn’t shut the hell up well into the early hour's of the morning. Definitely well overdue for renovations.

While the look from the outside was deceiving with the thoughts of a wonderful experience from reception onwards our experience was poor to plain awful.
Reception demanded more ID than I had experienced in the last period travelling Australia. It was sloppy!
Our unit (9) was ok except for the shower which should have been replaced a long time ago. Two glass panels were unfixed and, in my opinion, a safety issue.
There were a number of possible breaches to various Acts in restaurant, bar and menu which I have already addressed with the operator's.
Based on our experience I would have to put an 'avoid' note on the file.
Once these issues are addressed then I would suggest that this would be a lovely place to spend some quality time

The staff if you find them are amazing. but it was so hard to find anybody to chick me in as I arrived at 7 Pm .. the phone number of the security on the door is very wrong or the guy answer doesn't know anything, he tried to send me 20min away from the place to talk to someone, which is radicals. the water in the shower was not easy to fix the temperature. In front of my room was 2 big pins for garbage having a lot of little cockroach. Generally speaking I hate my stay there.
