For me, being right next to the door, this poor security was a non negotiable problem. The solution was a tiny little window lock....

Shower had not been cleaned properly. There was still, what looked like insects or something.
I left a glass out over night only to find a small cockroach in it the next morning.
No toaster in room.
Alot of noise from next door rooms.
It may now not be our go to place unless we want the jetty close.

Older style but great value
This is a terrific older style motel that is close to the pier, the pub, the beach and the markets. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. I liked it so much, I stayed against the end of my trip. The pool is also lovely and clean. The checkin and checkout was smooth. This place is great value for money. The only drawback is no microwave, but the fridge and aircon are super-cold. A supermarket is around the corner and straight down the road. I’d definitely come here again.

It was an amazing stay. Loved the room, the pool and the fact that my car was parked inside the property. The only setback was the ckeanliness of the bathroom shower. Noticed mould on the shower doors. Orher than that it was a fantastic stay!

Location was good. Room was clean, however I had booked 2 rooms one queen deluxe for us and one ordinary room for friends who we were meeting up with. The friends decided to stay 2 nights. I received 4 phone calls about the change of booking regards to our friends. Every call assuring me our room had not changed. On arrival we found they had given our room to our friends and we had been put in a standard room. Staff were not friendly or helpful. They have a strict policy of no check in until 2pm. Will not be going back there. There are so many other options with friendly staff to ever go back.

The stay was ok. Location is good. However, the first impression wasn't great. When I entered the property, I couldn't spot the 2 visitor parking. I parked in a location where I would not block anyone. The first thing the counter staff rudely said was \"Where did you park?\" , when I explained, she rolled her eyes and snapped back, \" why did you park there?!\" And \"Are you blocking anyone?\", \"Give me your ID and card!\", \"The system is down, go repark and come back in 20mins\".

Internet was annoying as daily voucher meant that had to re-enter every day if your there more then one day (which we were !!!) and my phone didn't want too so only had 1 day's internet.. wasn't happy about that !!! We liked the bed it was comfortable however the blanket didn’t smell very nice and the bathroom was not very clean, still toothpaste on the basin tap, the toilet wasn’t clean on the inside. All that aside we had a great stay and enjoyed the quote surroundings and beautiful pier across the road. Thanks guys

Room was down the back of the motel so not a lot of noise from the main road. Shower had plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. Wi Fi was good. Parking in front of the room. Short walking distance to the pier as well as restaurants, cafes and take away. Market on Saturday mornings. near the pier from 7am to 1 pm. Five minutes the other way to Torquay and Scarness Beach. More shops and eateries. About ten minutes into the Marina.
