Building is an older build but that did not bother us as it was well maintained and clean and comfortable, spacious, bright, a with a superb location. The value in price was exceptional. 1st time staying here and it is a fantastic place to stay. Even before we arrived we got a SMS to say our room was ready before the stated check in time. Really nice unit, large, well equipped. Good heating, which is important at the moment. Rooms have a good view of the sea, made it great to sit on the balcony. Fast, free wifi. Large parking spaces, plenty of them. Both the ladies we met on reception were super friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying again and for longer.

We stayed for 1 night at Shelley Bay Resort and highly recommend it. Our greeting at check in by Renata at the front desk was warm & welcoming. The rooms are completely outfitted with everything a traveller would need, especially for a multi-night stay. The hotel is what it is, a 3 star hotel, but it is clean, comfortable, has lots of amenities on the grounds (pool, BBQ, tennis court, to name a few). It is right across the road from the beach so the views are amazing.

From the moment I walked in the door at reception I was made to feel welcome and the staff member was truly engaged explaining to me where the best restaurants were depending on my cuisine choice and were the best coffee could be found. Even for a 1 night stay the team member was engaged in making me comfortable. The rooms are well situated with true beach frontage. I could relax to waves rolling up onto the shore. Great access to restaurants and shops along the esplanade.
