My friend and I were just looking for somewhere to lay our heads on a girls shopping trip. It was a little frustrating to find the 2nd bedroom locked, however they came and opened it up for us within about 30 mins. We also had some bulbs replaced in the lamps, with no hesitation at all.

The Apartment was adequate but tired and in need of updating. Some spots hadn't been cleaned properly eg cobwebs round the window in the bathroom and door bottoms. We had to kill roaches in the bathroom and kitchen. This was compensated for by the warm welcome, the great location and the especially helpful manager.

Our stay was ok. Rooms are tired. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Couch was dirty. Had enough cooking facilities. Kids went in the pool then had a shower so their towels were saturated, I asked for another couple of towels and was told that because it was a short stay (2 nights) and we booked through EXPEDIA she couldn't give us any as it would cost them money. We could pay $30 for more, hire pool towels or wash the ones we had and pay for the washing machine and dryer.

Although it is priced accordingly. The grounds and common areas, laundry etc could do with some TLC. It was a bit noisy with some of the permanent residents starting noisy vehicles and stomping down the external stairs near our bedroom. The lighting in our particular room was terrible, particularly in the kitchen. Could do with a couple of additional central lights.

Location was great being one block from the beach and esplanade. Short walk to esplanade, cafes, restaurants, food stores and other retail shops. Short drive to larger shopping centres and more restaurants if required. Gary and Sue were very helpful with directions on whale watching and places to visit in the area. They couldn't have be more helpful to us. The apartment we stayed in was great, had been refurbished recently and could be either a one or two bedroom apartment. We chose the one bedroom, which meant the second bedroom could stay locked and we didn't have to pay any extra. What a great option for guests with larger families. The apartment had a full size fridge, gas cook top, microwave, deep sink with tea towel etc., plates, glasses, cups, cutlery and much more. The entertainment section had Foxtel, DVD player, CD player, TV and good WiFi. Plenty of double power points throughout, comfy lounge, also dining table and 4 chairs. A large patio area also with outdoor table and chairs off the lounge. We could not fault the apartment we stayed in, it was great and we would definitely stay there again, hopefully for a bit longer next time as we only stayed for 3 nights.

The facilities were clean, but basic for a self contained apartment ( small, and no oven) . The mattress sagged in the middle and the pillows were terrible. The floating timber floor in the bedroom bowed, and creaked when walked on. The shower was impossible to get to an acceptable temperature, the instant gas was either too hot or too cold (mixer tap). The Foxtel and TV where okay, but it was impossible to get channel 9. I was told that channel 9 was not generally available in this region, but when staying in a subsequent apartment the next night, channel 9 was fine . There was a fee for using the laundry shared laundry, but in our subsequent apartments (cheaper price) there were a free washing machine and dryer in the apartment.

This a a really nice place to stay clean spacious and comfortable. We had a two bedroom apartment for two days. The complex layout was two blocks consisting of ground and first floor all with covered parking, each apartment is fully fitted with everything you could possibly need including a TV ,/satellite system. The location of the hotel is 5mins walking distance from the beach.

We were in a ground floor one bedroom apartment and I couldn't fault the comfort, cleanliness and facilities in this apartment. There was no noise and it is an easy walk to the beachfront and some shops and eateries. It is also an easy drive to get to the main areas of Hervey Bay, supermarkets and other restaurants near the marina and jetty areas. I would stay here again for sure!

Warm, friendly welcome by Manager. One block back from the beach, the room on the first floor was clean and comfortable, with a good balcony. Although you could hear some comings and goings of guests, it was a quieter location being off The Esplanade. No views, however that was reflected in the reasonable rates. While we didn't utilise it, there were booking facilities at the office for whale watching, tours, etc.

The facility was unkept and the carpets in the room needed cleaning. The office hours are short and getting help after hours cost. There were lots of extra charges for things most hotels provide for free.
