Our first (and last) time staying in the Chelsea tower, the room was disgusting. Carpet was so dirty we almost packed up and left. Only one VERY SLOW elevator operational in Chelsea tower. Not a pleasant stay at all

I stayed in the Solana tower and it was on a/c in the hallways and the elevator was a nightmare having to wait over 15 mins just got the elevator was extremely ridiculous as it was all two working elevator they shouldn’t have opened the solana until they had everything in order . The rooms was nice and renovated however it was so much dust and left over paint it was a bit annoying so i wouldn’t remember this tower . The pool for the adults was ridiculous from the lifeguard being on his phone and using ear pods was a bit old and having to pay $20 to use a chair was crazy and insane bad enough the hotels are expensive for pay for a chair at the public pool is ridiculous i wouldn’t recommend this hotel i will be staying somewhere else my next visit. And the hotel staff was no help when i complained

The room was clean and had good amenities. There were little details though when you looked closer that took away from the value like water stains along one corner of the ceiling with a little bit of peeling paint. The casino has a very small area for non-smokers and compared to the other casinos on the strip it smelled a lot like smoke. The Havana tower is best but very far from everything (at least it was quiet). The spa was closed and we were looking forward to a spa day. Otherwise, the beach access is great and the workers were all very nice if I got lost or had a question.

Unfortunately we had some really poor experiences with the property staff. We went to the pool an hour before it closed and were told we had to pay $50 for a day bed or $40 for two chair rentals (otherwise there was no where to sit). I asked if this was th case even though the pool closed in an hour and the attendant said yes and we could sit at the bar instead if we didn’t want to pay. I paid the $50 and was given a wristband for the daybed and immediately after we sat down, several groups were allowed entry and to use the daybeds free of charge.

At the casino, my boyfriend got me a drink after we played the slots for a while but unfortunately had issues with ordering his own on his machine. We flagged down a server and she kindly took his drink order instead and my boyfriend immediately tipped her. 25 minutes later we see her walking by us and he asks if she had a chance to grab his drink. She told him “I’m way too busy to help you, you’ll have to re order through a slot machine” and walked off. So she took his order AND his tip and didn’t ever help him. After that we stopped using the hotels amenities and went to the other casinos on the boardwalk that had much friendlier staff.

My husband and I had a great time we stayed 3 nights 4 days. The only problem was we didn't get room service i ask the 2 ladies that work on the floor they didn't have my room. The one lady was very helpful i wish I asked her name. I called housekeeping she told me they only do check outs rooms. I didn't understand stand that because what were we going g to do for clean towels. I am a housekeeper for 30.5 years in NY and still working we give service to all rooms no matter co or occ. The housekeeper who I said was very helpful she help with towels and coffee and garbage my we stay with the same sheets for our stay. Otherwise we had a awesome time.

Checking in was fast. We were given a room at Chelsea tower. After so many times bring at Tropicana and having a nice time we got so disappointed with this part of the hotel. It was like a construction site, right by our door was a big dirty bucket collecting the dirty water from a leak in the ceiling. So that added to a smell in the room on top of old carpets.
Never going back to Tropicana again!

We would've given this nice property more stars had their gym been open twenty - four hours. And if it does indeed close as early as 9:00 P.M., that is too early. This is an all day and all night property, so keeping the gym open 'round the clock is a feasible option .

Booked this hotel only for the pools and closeness to the boardwalk and beach. Parking was terrible. Tried to do valet bc it was just me and my daughter was told that was not an option and I would have to self park. Parked and had to walk forever away. Tried to self check in and that did not work either. The room we had reserved was unavailable. Then was told that all the pools were closed. Then was charged a resort fee when I wasn’t even able to use any amenities.

Celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday at the Tropicana Atlantic City was the best decision ever! Having everything in one convenient location made our trip perfect. Check-in was a breeze thanks to their easy online capabilities and kiosk system. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, meticulously well-maintained, and our room was absolutely flawless.

The staff were phenomenal—incredibly friendly and highly efficient. We loved the top-tier amenities, including the gym and pools. The property offers plenty of phenomenal dining options, and we had an unforgettable time exploring The Quarter and dancing at Boogie Nights. It was the ultimate celebratory weekend. We will absolutely be back!

I had a four day solo trip at the Tropicana hotel and there were no complaints till my last day. On the website it said the outdoor adults only pool would be open daily from 10am-6pm. I went on a Thursday and was told it was closed. It was kind of disappointing because being a solo traveler those spaces would make my trip more comfortable. Other than that everything else was pretty good. I stayed in Havana towers and it was very much up to date.

The room was clean upon arrival. As usual, one or more of the elevators was out of service for part of our stay. In the Quarter, the two benches (previously on either side of the entrance to the candy store, Licks) were removed. As a mobility-impaired guest, this presented a hardship, and limited my visits to that area.

The hotel room is in need of renovation. Although the room was clean, it was very outdated. The air vent was broken and bent, and when using the shower, water leaked all over the bathroom floor.Do not use the bell service. It was a terrible experience—there was no one at the bell desk, so we couldn’t retrieve our luggage. Another guest and I waited there for 30 minutes, but no one showed up, even though the phone at the desk was ringing nonstop and went unanswered. I eventually left to get dinner and returned at 10:30 PM. At that time there was someone there. We didn’t receive our luggage until 11:45 PM.

We recently stayed in the Tropicana hotel our room was dirty once arriving but our friends was staying in the room next to us and when I went down to the front desk they said “ oh you booked with a third party … as if I couldn’t do anything about it , I didn’t even get a chance to get to the pool for our stay after having to clean up the room myself …. Bummer… there was some night walkers running around: the women of the nights… outside of that the restaurants and shops was decent I got a few good pictures but I wish we would have stayed at Caesars instead… it looked a lot cleaner and high end.

I booked a king bed and was given 2 twin beds. Out of 4 elevators, only 2 worked and had to wait 10 minutes each time, it was insane and all hallways had no AC, extremely hot. Smoking on the property is crazy with marijuana smell in all hallways. Tropicana did not also link my Expedia to Caesar's account and checkout took longer. On the good, food at resort was really good at all restaurants and valet was really fast.

The property is great but the room we had in the North tower was horrible. The carpets were wet and dirty and the arm chair had what looked like skid marks on it. The lamp attached to the bed that had an outlet almost ripped out when i pulled my charger out of it. Mind you this room cost $423.00 for one night so this was not cheap. It was a non smoking floor but the room reaked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. It was so musty in the room. The bed sheets and towels also had stains. I would never stay here again.

I stayed at The Havana Tower one bedroom King suite. It was a true Suite - a living room with a powder room and second closet, plus a master bathroom and closet in the bedroom. The suite was large, everything was clean, but it was a bit dated and could use a refresh.

The biggest issue wasn't the room, it was simply getting around the property. Check-in was painfully slow because only 2 of the 12 kiosks were operational, creating long lines from the start. The elevator situation was even worse. Multiple elevators were out of service, causing significant delays and congestion. We waited nearly 25 minutes for an elevator at one point. The hotel clearly wasn't equipped to handle the volume of guests, and it put a damper on the entire stay. The last thing I'll mention is all I wanted was a ice cold Diet Coke and what I got was an extremly hot Diet Coke out of a vending machine, so hot the bottle was warped felt like it was about to explode it was so hot.

The hotel seemed like it was a flashback from the 90s. Furniture and decor was old and run down. On my floor, right off the elevator was a leak on the ceiling with the remedy of a bucket under there to collect the water. That bucket stayed there for the duration of my trip. The carpet was very old and not in good shape. The room had this wired smell that I believe it was smoked in before, although it was supposed to be a non smoking room. Just not a good experience at all. I ordered room service and it was delivered in a paper bag, I thought I was getting a table set up like I have from other casinos I’ve stayed at but no… pretty sub par experience. There are other much better casinos in AC that will go above and beyond making sure the experience of their guests exceeds expectations. This one was not it for me, very subpar hospitality left me surprised and disappointed.

This location was recommended to us and we are extremely disappointed. The check in process was slow due to confusion between the staff and them having to share a card reader. We finally got our room and were informed we were in Chelsea Tower which was a far walk. When arriving at the room, we noticed immediately that the room’s A/C was not working and the room was 78 degrees. We called immediately because I am pregnant and have issues with the heat. The staff informed us they would have the engineer come up to the room. 5 hours later we returned to the room and realized nothing was fixed and it was 76 degrees. I called the front AGAIN and the staff said he saw the ticket but no one ever came. I expressed my frustrations and that I was pregnant and the only “resolution” was to inform the manager and make a note. We are highly disappointed in the service, the quality of the hotel and how dirty it was. To spend over $300 for one night to get such a disgusting room is beyond aggravating. The lack of assistance was also ridiculous. We will definitely not be returning to this location.

I would like to express my disappointment with my recent stay in Atlantic City for my birthday. What was supposed to be a special and memorable experience for my fiancé and me turned out to be quite the opposite.

From the condition of the room to the interactions with staff, the experience fell far below expectations. The room was extremely hot, to the point where it was difficult to feel comfortable, and the shower was not functioning properly. On top of that, I constantly felt as though I was being overcharged or misled whenever I spent money on the property.

As a paying customer, I felt disrespected and undervalued. After reading other guest reviews, I can understand why so many people have shared similar negative experiences.

Unfortunately, this stay created a negative memory instead of the enjoyable birthday celebration I had hoped for. Thank you for the experience, but I will not be returning, nor will I be recommending this property to others. I work hard for my money, and I expect a level of service and quality that was simply not provided during my visit.

There wasn't anyone at the desk to assist with my kisok check-in. I had to go all the way down to the main lobby to get assistance. I never stayed here before, so I was unsure how to even get to the main lobby. It made the check-in process very frustrating. The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. The bedding was clean, but the surfaces were dusty, and the mirrors were quite smudged. There was sand on the bathroom floor. There was also two bags of trash in the hallway near the elevators when we checked in on Thursday afternoon, and they remained there until Friday afternoon. I tried to call the front desk from my room phone on two different occasions, and got no answer. The casino, and restaurant areas of the hotel were very nice, though. Nice varitey of amenities.

Check in was awful. 1 kiosk was available. The rest were out of service. Room stated it was nonsmoking, but the smell of smoke was in the room.
Then when we went to leave, the line for parking garage elevators was backed up 100 people long. People started to head for the stairs, and the stairs were locked (fire hazard). So we all trekked up the parking garage levels as a crowd hoping not to get hit. Tropicana needs to do better.
